Flygon's body rolled several times on the ground, all the way out of bounds, and landed at Monica's feet.
On the other side, Dragonite landed, breathing a little heavily. After the mud shower, the two Pokémon had engaged in another brief but fierce exchange. In the end, Dragonite's skill was superior, and it won with a final Aqua Tail. For Natsui, the match had gone smoothly without any major scares.
Monica recalled her Flygon with a bitter smile. Along with her two brothers, she walked around the muddy field and approached Natsui.
"You're just too strong. We're no match for you at all," she said sincerely. But while she was frank, her two brothers, Santos and Sunny, still looked like they didn't accept the loss.
Natsui just smiled at their childishness. "Your Flygon is very strong too," he said to Monica. "If I hadn't disrupted your sandstorm, my Dragonite might have been the one to lose."
Monica didn't know if he was just being polite, but hearing it made her feel a little better. She took a medal from her pocket and handed it to him.
"Please take this. This is the Vigor Medal, proof that you've beaten me."
Santos and Sunny also took out their medals. Although they were reluctant, they held them out to Natsui.
"This is my Slumber Medal."
"And this is my Laughter Medal."
Just like the medals from the other four siblings, these were all the same shape but different colors. Natsui accepted all three. He had now achieved his goal of collecting all the medals from the siblings.
"Thanks."
After losing, Monica didn't want to stay any longer. "Well then, see you around," she said with a smile. "We should go get cleaned up."
Natsui hadn't really noticed before, but now that she mentioned it, he saw that they were covered in mud, a sharp contrast to his own clean clothes.
After watching them leave, Erika walked to his side.
"The Weekday Siblings are pretty famous trainers in Johto. How do you feel after beating all of them?"
"How do I feel?" Natsui shook his head and laughed. "I don't really feel anything, but at least I don't have to worry about them chasing me anymore."
They left the battle field and headed straight for the Goldenrod City port. There, they bought tickets for a ship to Alto Mare. As "the most beautiful city in the world," there were routes to it from many places, and a metropolis like Goldenrod City had over a dozen ships going back and forth every day.

"A long, long time ago, on an island called Alto Mare, there lived an old couple. One day, they found two injured young siblings by the sea. The couple took great care of them, and the siblings slowly recovered."

On the deck of the ship, Erika sat on a chair and told this legend to Natsui, then closed her travel guide.
Natsui was wearing a large pair of sunglasses and lounging comfortably in a deck chair with a cocktail in his hand. He popped a cherry into his mouth, but behind his sunglasses, his eyes were fixed on Erika. She was a very good storyteller. Her voice was soft, and her tone changed with the story's ups and downs. It was a girl's voice. When Natsui and Erika turned, they saw Ash, Misty, and Brock.
"How do we keep running into you three everywhere?" Natsui pushed his sunglasses up and smiled at Misty. "Actually, the Soul Dew, Latios, and Latias are all real. They're still in that city to this day. Maybe we'll even see them this time."
Then, he changed the subject. "Are you guys going to Alto Mare too?"
"Of course," Ash said, pulling out a poster and showing it to Natsui. "We're going to participate in the annual Pokémon Water Race. Are you guys?"
"No," Natsui shook his head. "Erika and I are just going there on vacation. But a Pokémon Water Race? That sounds pretty interesting."
He took the poster and saw that there was going to be a water race where trainers would stand on small boats pulled by Water-type Pokémon through a complex series of canals. The first to reach the finish line would win a grand prize.
"Since you're here too, Natsui, you should join!" Ash said excitedly. "Misty and I are both going to participate! Heh heh, I might not be able to beat you in a battle, but in a race like this, I'll definitely take first place!"
"Honestly, I don't know where you get your confidence," Misty said, rolling her eyes at Ash. "In a competition like this, as a Water-type trainer, I obviously have the advantage. But as for first place... hee hee, if Natsui decides to join, he'll definitely be the one to win."
Sigh... Brock looked at Misty and sighed helplessly. He could see that as Natsui's number one fan, Misty was already a lost cause. If she was around, anyone who tried to bad-mouth or underestimate Natsui would face her merciless scorn. He just couldn't understand how Natsui had managed to tame her.
