Chapter 475 - Chapter 475: Let's Start the Destruction!

The plan went smoothly. Natsui's group waited for several more minutes, and after confirming there was still no reaction from the Team Rocket base, they finally breathed a sigh of relief, knowing they had safely passed the first hurdle.

However, as they touched the thick walls, the question of how to get inside the base became the second problem.

If they were more ruthless, they could simply blast a few holes in the base. The powerful seawater would then continuously pour in, completely flooding the entire base within a dozen minutes or so. The people inside wouldn't even have a chance to escape, truly wiping them all out in one go.

But that would be far too vicious. After all, their primary goal was capture, not annihilation.

But if they didn't damage the walls, they would have to find its entrance to get inside.

And as an underwater structure, the entire base was bound to be extremely well-sealed. Even if they found its entrance and exit, how to open it would still be a problem.

He relayed the current predicament to the others via the writing slate. After reading it, Ash and the others just scratched their heads, unable to think of a good solution.

Sigh...

Can't count on these guys at all...

Natsui helplessly pulled back his gaze. By chance, he happened to see Misty's Corsola again.

Hmm?

An idea instantly came to him. It seemed they had no choice but to have it step up again!

...

At this time, in the surveillance room of the secret Team Rocket underwater base, two members were sitting with their legs crossed, bored out of their minds. While leisurely sipping tea, they would only occasionally glance at the screens.

Years of idleness and lack of disturbances, coupled with the tedious work, had long since caused the two to lose their proper vigilance and become lax.

But despite this, they were still at their posts, maintaining a minimum level of alertness.

Until the appearance of a Corsola, which quickly caught their attention.

Looking at the screen, one member shook his head helplessly. "So annoying, that Corsola is back again!"

The other member also smiled. "It doesn't really think the camera is a mirror, does it? Sigh, these wild Pokémon are so stupid they're cute!"

On the screen, the Corsola swam in front of the camera again. It looked left and right, then opened its mouth and bit down on the camera's lens head. As it forcefully wiggled its body, swaying back and forth, it actually managed to bite the camera off!

"Damn it!" One member immediately sat up straight and cursed, then took out his walkie-talkie and called out, "Maintenance team! An external camera has been broken by a wild Pokémon. Go check it out immediately."

"Broken again!?" An impatient voice came from the other end of the walkie-talkie. "Honestly, how many times has this been this month? Do these wild Pokémon really think this place is a treasure-hunting spot?"

Despite complaining, the maintenance team member had no choice but to go to the exit, change into a wetsuit, and prepare to swim out of the base to repair the camera.

At the same time, Natsui and the others, hiding outside the wall, were waiting quietly for a potential opportunity.

Fortunately, it didn't take long. As a circular passage opened, a Team Rocket member holding tools swam out. He didn't linger and swam straight towards the camera that had been damaged by Corsola.

He did it all with such practiced ease, as if he had gone through this many times before.

Seeing that the exit had not yet closed, knowing this was an opportunity not to be missed, and seeing that the Team Rocket member had gone far away, Natsui's group swam forcefully towards the passage. They entered one after another and finally made it inside the base.

Splash...

Natsui and the others emerged from the water.

Behind the passage was a pressure chamber like a ship's cabin. After getting out of the water, the group climbed up a ladder, took off their diving masks and underwater breathers, and all took a deep breath.

The air here was surprisingly fresh, without the stuffy feeling of a submarine. It could only be said that it was a secret base, after all; the air purification system must have been very well designed.

Misty whispered, "What should we do now?"

Natsui looked left and right. "While they haven't discovered us yet, let's go inside and see what kind of facility this is!"

Recalling their respective Water-type Pokémon, the group switched to some Pokémon more suitable for fighting in narrow terrains to accompany them.

Like Natsui, he recalled Dragonair and not only had Gengar appear, but also sent out his Gardevoir. With these two Pokémon around, unless he encountered a legendary Pokémon, no one could harm him in the slightest!

The group passed through the cabin and walked quietly down the corridor. Perhaps because it had never been invaded before, they didn't even see any patrolling members along the way, nor were there any surveillance devices. They only occasionally saw a few researchers rushing past, but Gengar, who was scouting ahead, detected them in advance, allowing Natsui and the others to easily avoid them.

They walked straight ahead until they passed through several blast doors and turned into a warehouse-like room. There, they saw dozens of Water-type Pokémon locked in iron cages, lying listlessly.

Seeing this, Misty immediately covered her mouth and gasped, "Why are these Pokémon locked up here?"

"It must be for some kind of research," Natsui said, seeing that no one was around. He nodded to the others. "Quick, let's let them all out."

Erika and the others had the same idea. However, the cages were too sturdy, and they had no key, so they had no choice but to have their Pokémon destroy the cages directly.

But doing so would naturally and inevitably make noise.

Plus, once the wild Pokémon were freed, they ran amok without any restraint. It was impossible to keep things quiet.

Just a few seconds later, someone heard the noise and rushed over, running straight into the escaping Pokémon!

"Oh no! Intruders! They've released the Pokémon! Sound the alarm, quick!!"

In an instant, the alarm blared. But it didn't matter; Natsui's group's goal was to destroy this place anyway. To have made it this far without being noticed was already a success.

Before that member could do anything, he was knocked out by the Pokémon beside the group.

Seeing this, Natsui no longer bothered to hide. He said to the others, "This is perfect. Let's go on a rampage and take down everyone we meet!!"

This was their main objective. Ash and the others nodded excitedly and commanded their Pokémon to charge forward. Along the way, anyone who crossed their path was taken down.

Now, the entire base could be described as being in total chaos.

The Team Rocket members couldn't figure out when these intruders had broken in. In a panic, they had just run out of their various rooms and were immediately met by a group of ferocious-looking people!

And in front of the large screen, Dr. Namba, Cassidy, and Butch, looking at the familiar faces in the footage, immediately realized that things had gone very wrong!

Damn it, why are these guys so persistent, following us all the way here!??
