I slammed my bag on the floor. "Ugh, I want to kill her!"
I ignored the sound of the door closing behind me and stalked to Damien's desk. He grabbed my wrist and pulled me around to face him.
Then, he leaned forward and kissed me. My eyes widened in surprise as his lips clashed on mine.
Still, I closed my eyes, enjoying the way his lips moved on mine. I could kiss Damien for eternity without ever getting tired.
He was like a drug I couldn't get bored of--only he was sweeter and more addictive.
He broke the kiss and cupped my face gently. I blinked, searching his eyes.
"What was that for?" I asked.
A kiss was the last thing I expected. We'd not only heard a fight, he also heard some pretty incriminating things about me and Oliver.
His eyes softened as he stared at me. "I'm sorry."
I blinked. "You are?"
Even though it wasn't the first time, his apologies still surprised me.
