Chapter 5 - Chapter 5 - lion The Variable - part 1

Jira paused, eyes thoughtful.

"I have one last question…

What if you visit a timeline or worldline you've never seen before?"

Simha smiled, already walking.

"Simple.

We use two methods:

Low-profile mode – stay hidden, act mysteriously, complete the mission, and escape silently. Fear Protocol – use a fake name, become the most feared entity, complete the mission, then fake your death to erase all traces.

The first is for rookies and those who prefer peace.

The second… is for warriors like me—

Those who target fear to protect secrets."

He turned to Jira.

"Now that I've told you Chrono Police strategy,

You're coming with me.

Time to begin your training."

Jira blinked.

"Wait… I'm a police officer now?"

Simha raised an eyebrow.

"Yes.

Why are you out of your mind?

You have two choices under Chrono Galactic Law – Section 4: Diplomacy:

If your identity is revealed to even one person,

You must either join the force and follow orders,

Or be terminated on encounter—no escape.

This law only applies to the second method—the Fear Protocol."

Jira stood tall.

"I salute.

I obey your order, sir."

Simha laughed.

"Haha… you're totally obedient.

I don't need those waste body profiles."

Jira frowned.

"Why not?"

Simha's eyes narrowed.

"Simple.

They all die soon.

If someone needs an introduction…

They're already marked."

Jira was stunned.

"Then… how will you fight?"

Simha grinned.

"Let's play hide and seek.

You understand?

Let them talk.

We move in silence."

He turned.

"Come.

Let's go."

Location: Shambara Dānava Palace – Aryavarta Kingdom

True kingdom stretching between the Himalayas and Vindhya Mountains

Deep within the obsidian halls of the Shambara Palace, in the Guru Chamber, sat the feared tantrika—

 Guru Udriktasura

• Clad in black kāchhe and vastra

• Adorned with human skull jewels

• Wearing a skull helmet, streaked with blood shades

• A master of dark tantrika, untouched by divine restraint

🕯️ The air was thick with mantras and smoke.

Shambara entered, speaking in Sanskrit—his preferred tongue for secrets.

Udriktasura closed his eyes, entering trance.

He opened his eyes.

Then he leaned forward.

Shambara frowned.

Udriktasura's voice darkened.

Shambara bowed.

Shambara entered, speaking in Sanskrit—his preferred tongue for secrets.

हे गुरो, अहं भवतः शिष्यः। मम प्रश्नः अस्ति—मम पुत्रः स्वकार्ये विलम्बेन आगतः। भवतः का अपि पूर्वदृष्टिः अस्ति किम्?

O my guru, I am your disciple. I have a question—my son is late from his mission. Do you have any prediction?

Udriktasura closed his eyes, entering trance.

मम एकं द्रष्टव्यं व्याप्तम् यत् सः सिंहेण मृता। सिंहः जन्तुः वा पश्युः वा मानवः वा? मम न ज्ञायते।

I had a revelation—he dies by a lion. Whether it is an animal, beast, or human… I do not know.

He opened his eyes.

"It's secret, but very important.

So I spoke in mother tongue."

Then he leaned forward.

"Let me tell you—

I am the opposite of Guru Shukracharya.

He hates gods and sacrifices us in the name of victory.

I only act when victory is assured.

I've never met him.

He is one of the Navagraha."

Shambara frowned.

"Guru… do not speak against our rakshasa supreme, divine Shukracharya.

He is our true god.

Rahu and Ketu are also our kin.

We must remember that."

Udriktasura's voice darkened.

"I am not his type.

He is tāmasika, divine but distant.

He does not teach tantrika—he sends disciples to learn.

I am tantrika incarnate.

I have already formed an Earth team of 245 warriors in Dharika Vana,

Near the Vindhya Mountains.

I will kill that lion.

You do not target it."

Shambara bowed.

"As you wish, Guru.

I shall take my leave."

Location: Palace of Karṇāṭa Deśa – Hamper Region

Ajanabhau Vidya Mandira – Royal School of Dharma

Inside the sacred halls of Ajanabhau Vidya Mandira, students sat in disciplined rows, arranged by varna—Kshatriya, Brahmana, Vaishya, and Shudra—each learning their dharmic roles.

Teacher Britana Bhaṭṭa, robed in royal saffron, addressed the class in royal Kannada:

(Everyone get ready, the king is arriving. Come outside, speak properly, and act with discipline.)

The students rose in reverence.

Four royal assistants arrived, announcing the prabhāvali of the king:

"Rājādhi Rāja, Rāja Mārtāṇḍa, Rāja Kula Ṭika, Mānavara Karṇāṭa Deśa Rāja, Rāja Ghambhīra, Rāja Udyonmukha Mahārāja, Dakṣiṇa Chakravartī Koushalya Guru Ajanabhuravarige Jaya Vāgali!"

King of kings, Sun among rulers, Crown of royal lineage, King of humanity and Karṇāṭa land, Sovereign of greatness, Rising emperor, Southern Chakravartin—Victory to Koushalya Guru Ajanabhu!

The students chanted in chorus, bowing as the king entered.

King Ajanabhu spoke gently:

"Children, are you learning your duties?

Kshatriyas: warfare and politics Brahmanas: teaching, assisting the king, rituals, and medicine Vaishyas: trade, business, and merchandise Shudras: caretakers of the palace, support units in war Shared duties: farming, service, and royal maintenance

This was dharma.

But now, in Kali Yuga, we've lost it.

After the Rakshasa invasion, we follow it forcefully.

We are in war.

So please… learn what you truly wish."

The students bowed.

"Thank you, Maharaja, for your concern."

The king turned to his minister, Savarnasa Bhattacharya.

"We have a 90.5% chance of victory, right?"

Savarnasa nodded.

"Yes, Maharaja.

Our army has defeated five enemy forces.

They retreated on the fourth day of our Kurukshetra."

The king smiled.

"This Vidyalaya is excellent.

The children are learning something new."

Savarnasa leaned in.

"We must defeat that Rakshasa.

Our Swamiji, Astra Arya Nāthāchārya of Astāṅgata Adidvīpa Andaman,

Had a revelation:

We will win—because an unknown factor has entered the war.

It may be a god-sent person."

The king's eyes sharpened.

"What, Savarnasa?

We have a dangerous person who can slay Rakshasas?

Who is he?

Where is he?

Did any variable occur during our war?"
