After several peaceful days, every agent in the agency received an emergency summons.
Nobody knew the reason.
The atmosphere felt tense from the moment they entered headquarters.
Ayaan, Anshuman, and Sara walked into the main briefing hall.
Hundreds of agents were already gathered.
Everyone was whispering.
Trying to figure out what was happening.
Then Mark walked onto the stage.
The room immediately fell silent.
Mark looked around at all the agents.
His expression was serious.
"In the last few days..."
"We have lost contact with several agents."
The room became uneasy.
"Some have disappeared."
"Some safe houses have gone silent."
"And some agents have been attacked."
The giant screen behind him lit up.
Photos of missing agents appeared.
Murmurs spread through the crowd.
Mark continued.
"We have reason to believe that agency files have been leaked."
The room exploded with shock.
"What?!"
"How is that possible?"
Ayaan immediately looked at Anshuman.
Both understood how dangerous that was.
Mark raised his hand.
The room became quiet again.
"The leaked files contain agent identities."
"Mission records."
"Safe house locations."
"And classified information."
Sara's expression darkened.
Mark changed the screen.
A symbol appeared.
A black emblem with six marks around it.
"We also have reports of a group hunting our agents."
The room became even quieter.
"They are responsible for many of the attacks."
A photo appeared.
Then another.
Then another.
Most of the faces were hidden.
Only silhouettes could be seen.
"According to our intelligence..."
Mark paused.
"There are only six members."
The agents exchanged nervous looks.
"One of them is believed to be the individual who stole our information."
Ayaan folded his arms.
"So six people are causing this much damage."
Anshuman whistled.
"They must be monsters."
Mark nodded.
"Do not underestimate them."
Another image appeared.
A destroyed safe house.
Burned vehicles.
Damaged equipment.
"Every encounter has ended in failure."
No agent in the room laughed anymore.
Mark's voice became firmer.
"From this moment onward..."
"Every agent is to remain alert."
The screen changed one final time.
MISSION: RECOVER THE STOLEN FILES
ELIMINATE OR CAPTURE THE SIX MEMBERS
Mark looked at the crowd.
"Find them."
His eyes hardened.
"Get back the stolen information."
"And stop whoever is behind this."
The room stood in silence.
Ayaan looked at the screen.
Six shadows.
Six enemies.
Anshuman smiled slightly.
"Looks like we're busy again."
Sara nodded.
"This won't be easy."
Ayaan stared at the six silhouettes.
A strange feeling settled in his mind.
These weren't ordinary criminals.
These weren't ordinary assassins.
Somewhere out there, six people were hunting agents across the world.
And now...
The hunt was about to become two-sided.
Ayaan, Anshuman, and Sara were sitting inside a café.
For once, it wasn't a mission.
Just coffee and a quiet afternoon.
Then all three watches vibrated at the same time.
WARNING
5 HOSTILE TARGETS DETECTED
WITHIN 50 METERS
REINFORCEMENTS EN ROUTE
STAY ALIVE
Anshuman almost dropped his cup.
"Well..."
Sara sighed.
"There goes our peaceful day."
Ayaan didn't reply.
His eyes were already scanning the café.
Then he noticed them.
Three people sitting near a corner table.
Another two near the exit.
None of them were talking.
None of them were eating.
Just watching.
Ayaan's eyes narrowed.
Something felt wrong.
Before anyone could react—
Ayaan grabbed a small metal spoon from the table.
WHOOSH!
He threw it.
The spoon flew across the café.
One of the men casually caught it between two fingers.
The entire café became silent.
The five slowly stood up.
Anshuman blinked.
"So it was them."
He started walking forward.
As he got closer, he finally saw them clearly.
Three boys.
Two girls.
All dressed normally.
Yet something about them felt dangerous.
One of the girls smiled.
"How did you notice us?"
Ayaan stood up.
"You were sitting too aggressively."
The five exchanged glances.
Ayaan continued.
"My instincts told me something was wrong."
"Nobody sits like that in a café."
"So I kept watching."
One of the men laughed.
"A genius agent."
Another girl folded her arms.
"Interesting."
The civilians inside the café immediately began leaving.
Some ran.
Some hid.
Within moments the entire place was empty.
Only the eight of them remained.
The leader stepped forward.
"We were supposed to eliminate you quietly."
Anshuman cracked his knuckles.
"Sorry."
"We don't like making things easy."
The leader smiled.
"We noticed."
Then suddenly—
BOOM!!
The five moved at once.
The café exploded into chaos.
One assassin jumped over a table.
Another kicked a chair toward Sara.
A third charged directly at Ayaan.
Ayaan dodged.
The chair shattered against the wall.
Anshuman caught another table.
Then threw it back.
CRASH!!
The assassin sliced through it with a knife.
Sara rolled across the floor as a kick narrowly missed her head.
The five assassins moved with perfect coordination.
No hesitation.
No wasted movement.
They had clearly fought together for years.
One of the girls rushed Ayaan.
Her speed surprised him.
A punch.
A kick.
An elbow.
Ayaan blocked them all.
But she was smiling.
"Not bad."
At the same time, Anshuman was fighting two opponents.
A man attacked high.
Another attacked low.
Anshuman laughed.
"Now we're talking!"
The café walls cracked.
Windows shattered.
Tables flew across the room.
Sara managed to disarm one assassin.
But another immediately appeared behind her.
The five were fighting like a unit.
Ayaan realized something.
"They're testing us."
The leader heard him.
And smiled.
"Very good."
Then he pointed at the three agents.
"We've heard a lot about you."
His smile widened.
"Let's see if the stories are true."
The battle intensified.
And for the first time...
Ayaan, Anshuman, and Sara were facing members of the group responsible for hunting agents across the world.
The café was already half destroyed.
Broken tables were everywhere.
Coffee cups rolled across the floor.
The windows had shattered.
One of the assassins rushed toward Ayaan.
Ayaan grabbed one of the girls by the arm.
"Sorry."
Then he pulled her in front of him.
The other assassin immediately stopped his attack.
"Hey!"
The girl shouted.
"What kind of fighting style is that?!"
"A smart one."
Ayaan replied.
Then he released her.
The momentum sent her sliding across the floor.
CRAAAAASH!
She went straight through the café counter.
Coffee machines exploded.
The girl stood up covered in flour and coffee powder.
The entire room went silent for a second.
Anshuman looked at her.
"You look delicious."
The girl stared at him.
"I'm going to kill you first."
Meanwhile Ayaan jumped onto a chair.
Then onto a table.
Then launched himself forward.
BOOM!
A punch toward one assassin's face.
The assassin dodged.
Ayaan immediately attacked again.
A knee strike.
Dodged.
A spinning kick.
Dodged.
The assassin moved like a ghost.
Ayaan landed and frowned.
"Stand still."
"No."
"Fair enough."
Across the room Anshuman was fighting two assassins simultaneously.
One attacked high.
One attacked low.
Anshuman somehow dodged both.
Then immediately tripped over a broken chair.
"OH COME ON!"
The assassins jumped toward him.
Anshuman rolled away.
Their attacks destroyed the floor.
"Thank you chair."
The chair remained silent.
Sara shouted from across the room.
"Stop talking to furniture!"
Anshuman pointed dramatically.
"It betrayed me first."
One assassin nearly hit him in the head.
"FOCUS!"
Sara shouted.
"RIGHT!"
He immediately ducked.
The attack flew over him.
At the same time Sara was fighting one of the girls.
The assassin attempted a kick.
Sara blocked.
Countered.
The two exchanged attacks rapidly.
Punch.
Kick.
Elbow.
Counter.
Neither gained an advantage.
Meanwhile Ayaan was still facing the fast assassin.
The man moved incredibly quickly.
Every attack missed.
Every opening disappeared instantly.
Ayaan breathed slowly.
Then smiled.
"Anshuman."
"What?"
"You're right."
"Obviously."
"They're assassins."
"I literally just said that."
The assassin suddenly attacked.
Ayaan barely blocked.
The impact pushed him backward.
The floor cracked beneath his feet.
For the first time he realized something.
These weren't random criminals.
These were elite killers.
Every movement was precise.
Every attack had purpose.
The leader watched calmly from the back.
Observing everything.
Then he spoke.
"Interesting."
The other assassins immediately jumped backward.
Creating distance.
The battle paused for a moment.
The leader looked at Ayaan.
Then Anshuman.
Then Sara.
A small smile appeared.
"So the agency's best agents really are different."
Anshuman pointed at himself proudly.
"Of course."
The leader ignored him completely.
Anshuman looked offended.
"That hurt."
Sara facepalmed.
Ayaan couldn't help laughing.
Even during a deadly battle...
Nothing could stop Anshuman from being Anshuman.
But then the leader slowly reached for something hidden beneath his coat.
And suddenly...
Nobody was laughing anymore.
The leader slowly reached inside his coat.
Whatever he was about to pull out...
Ayaan wasn't interested in finding out.
"Not happening."
Before the leader could react, Ayaan lunged forward.
Grabbed his leg.
"Wait—"
WHOOSH!
The leader was lifted completely off the ground.
Then thrown straight through the café entrance.
CRAAAAASH!!
The glass doors exploded.
The leader rolled across the street outside.
Anshuman blinked.
"Dude."
"That was brutal."
Ayaan dusted his hands.
"Thank you."
Then—
THUD!!
A punch landed squarely on the side of his head.
Ayaan didn't even see it coming.
The fast assassin had appeared behind him.
Ayaan flew through two tables.
CRASH!
He slid all the way outside.
Directly beside the leader.
The leader looked at him.
"How'd that feel?"
Ayaan slowly stood up.
Then smiled.
"About the same as you're feeling."
The leader looked annoyed.
Then immediately stepped backward.
Ayaan noticed something.
The leader wasn't moving like the others.
He wasn't taking a fighting stance.
He wasn't preparing to attack.
He was watching.
Giving orders.
Ayaan understood instantly.
"You're not the fighter."
The leader smiled.
"No."
Then he pointed at Ayaan.
"Get him."
The other assassins rushed outside.
The battle exploded again.
One assassin attacked Ayaan from the front.
Another from the side.
Ayaan ducked under the first punch.
Then drove his elbow into the second assassin.
THUD!
The assassin staggered.
Ayaan immediately followed with a kick.
BOOM!
The assassin crashed into a parked car.
Meanwhile Anshuman was surrounded by two assassins.
One attacked high.
One attacked low.
Anshuman somehow dodged both.
Then accidentally stepped into a trash can.
The trash can got stuck around his leg.
"Oh, you've got to be kidding me."
One assassin laughed.
Big mistake.
Anshuman grabbed the trash can.
And launched it like a projectile.
WHAM!!
The assassin got hit directly in the face.
Sara couldn't help laughing.
"You actually weaponized garbage."
"It was there."
Meanwhile Sara was fighting the girl assassin from earlier.
The two exchanged rapid attacks.
Punch.
Kick.
Counter.
Block.
The assassin was skilled.
But Sara had become much stronger.
She caught the girl's wrist.
Spun her around.
And threw her into a streetlight.
CRASH!
The pole bent.
The assassin groaned.
Back near the café entrance, Ayaan was still fighting the fast assassin.
The man moved like a shadow.
Every attack was precise.
Ayaan missed several punches.
Then suddenly stopped attacking.
The assassin looked confused.
Ayaan smiled.
"There."
"What?"
The assassin stepped forward.
And slipped on spilled coffee that had flowed from the café.
WHOOOP!
His feet flew into the air.
He landed flat on his back.
Even Anshuman stopped fighting for a second.
"No way."
Ayaan pointed.
"Environmental combat."
The assassin looked furious.
By now, all five assassins had taken damage.
None of them expected such resistance.
The leader noticed it too.
His expression darkened.
The mission wasn't going as planned.
Agency reinforcements would arrive soon.
And his team wasn't winning.
He raised his hand.
Immediately the assassins stopped fighting.
Ayaan frowned.
"What?"
The leader looked at the three agents.
His eyes moved between Ayaan.
Anshuman.
And Sara.
As if memorizing them.
Then he smiled.
"This was only a test."
Anshuman groaned.
"Every villain says that."
The leader ignored him.
"Now we know what we're dealing with."
A smoke grenade suddenly hit the ground.
FSSSSSHHHH!
The entire street filled with thick smoke.
Ayaan rushed forward.
"Don't let them escape!"
But when the smoke cleared...
They were gone.
All five assassins had disappeared.
Only the damaged café remained.
Broken tables.
Destroyed cars.
Cracked pavement.
Anshuman looked around.
"They're fast."
Sara nodded.
"Too fast."
Ayaan stared at the empty street.
The fight had ended.
But one thing was clear.
The assassins weren't afraid of them.
And now both sides knew exactly how dangerous the other was.
A few days passed after the café incident.
The agency was on high alert.
Every agent knew the threat was growing.
Then an emergency call arrived.
Several agents had been attacked.
Some had survived.
Some hadn't.
The mood inside the agency immediately became heavy.
Ayaan, Anshuman, and Sara were assigned to investigate one of the attack sites.
When they arrived, the area had already been sealed off.
Broken vehicles were scattered across the road.
Bullet marks covered the walls.
Weapons lay abandoned on the ground.
The battle had clearly been brutal.
Anshuman looked around.
"They didn't stand a chance."
Sara remained silent.
Ayaan crouched beside one of the damaged weapons.
Studying the scene carefully.
Something felt off.
Then one of the investigators approached them.
"We found security footage."
Ayaan immediately stood up.
"Show us."
A large screen was brought up.
The footage began playing.
The agents watched carefully.
The attackers appeared.
Then all three froze.
The six figures weren't wearing ordinary clothes anymore.
They were dressed in sleek black combat suits.
The designs looked advanced.
Almost futuristic.
Each suit had glowing lines running through it.
The six moved far faster than they had at the café.
Even their strength appeared different.
Anshuman pointed at the screen.
"Wait."
"What is that costume?"
The footage continued.
One assassin smashed through a reinforced door.
Another moved faster than the camera could properly track.
Sara frowned.
"They definitely weren't fighting like that against us."
Ayaan's eyes narrowed.
The footage replayed in his mind.
The café.
The street.
The way they had fought.
Then a realization hit him.
His expression changed immediately.
"Something is wrong."
Anshuman looked at him.
"What?"
Ayaan pointed at the screen.
"When they fought us..."
"They weren't wearing those suits."
The room became silent.
Sara slowly understood.
"You think they held back?"
Ayaan nodded.
"Not just held back."
He paused.
"I think those suits increase their abilities."
Anshuman's smile disappeared.
The implications were obvious.
If the assassins had been dangerous without the suits...
Then with the suits they were on another level entirely.
The footage continued.
One of the assassins easily overpowered multiple agents.
Another dodged gunfire with unnatural speed.
Ayaan folded his arms.
Thinking.
Calculating.
Finally he spoke.
"This is bad."
"Very bad."
Anshuman looked at the screen again.
"So we've been fighting the weaker versions of them?"
"No."
Ayaan replied.
"We've been fighting them while they were hiding their true capabilities."
Sara stared at the footage.
"Which means..."
Ayaan finished her sentence.
"If they attack us wearing those suits..."
"...the next fight will be completely different."
The room fell silent.
For the first time since the mission began...
The three realized they might be dealing with an enemy much stronger than they originally thought.
And somewhere out there...
The six assassins were still hunting agents.
The cold wind moved through the empty street.
Streetlights flickered above.
The city felt strangely quiet.
Ayaan, Anshuman, and Sara were walking back toward their apartment after another long day of investigating.
Suddenly—
THUD!
All three stumbled forward at the same time.
"What the—"
Anshuman barely managed to stop himself from falling.
Sara rubbed her forehead.
"Did anyone else feel that?"
Before anyone could answer, they noticed someone standing ahead.
An old man.
His long coat moved slightly in the wind.
His face was hidden beneath a hood.
Ayaan immediately became alert.
"Who are you?"
The old man didn't answer.
Instead, he reached into his pocket.
Then pulled out three small black tablets.
He extended his hand.
"You should eat these."
Anshuman stared.
"That's definitely not suspicious."
Sara nodded.
"Extremely suspicious."
The old man remained calm.
"If you want to survive what's coming..."
"You'll need them."
Ayaan studied him carefully.
The old man didn't seem afraid.
Didn't seem dangerous.
Just... strange.
Before they could ask another question, the old man placed the tablets in their hands.
Then turned around.
And disappeared into the darkness.
The three exchanged looks.
"That was weird."
Anshuman said.
"Very weird."
Sara agreed.
Yet after several minutes of arguing...
They eventually took the tablets.
Nothing happened.
At least not immediately.
That night they returned home.
And went to sleep.
Then everything changed.
Darkness.
Nothing but darkness.
Ayaan slowly opened his eyes.
He wasn't in his room.
He wasn't anywhere.
Just standing in an endless black void.
Then he noticed something moving.
Far away.
A giant shadow.
Watching him.
Before he could react—
The darkness swallowed everything.
Meanwhile Anshuman and Sara were experiencing similar visions.
Strange sounds.
Strange figures.
Strange energy.
Something was happening.
Something inside them.
Then morning came.
All three woke up immediately.
AAAH!
Pain shot through their bodies.
Their muscles ached.
Their heads hurt.
Their hearts were racing.
"What happened?"
Sara asked.
Anshuman held his head.
"I feel like a truck ran over me."
Ayaan remained silent.
Something felt different.
Not stronger.
Not weaker.
Different.
To distract themselves, they turned on the TV.
A news report was playing.
"Three unidentified individuals once again stopped a criminal organization last night."
The footage appeared.
Three figures.
Moving through the city.
Fast.
Powerful.
Ayaan stared.
Then leaned closer.
"Wait."
Sara looked too.
Anshuman froze.
The three figures looked strangely familiar.
Not identical.
But similar.
Almost like distorted reflections of themselves.
The footage ended.
Anshuman folded his arms.
"They're definitely something different."
Ayaan couldn't explain why...
But he felt connected to them somehow.
That night the three continued their patrol.
The city was unusually quiet.
Almost too quiet.
Then—
A voice echoed through the darkness.
"We meet again."
The three immediately stopped.
Their eyes widened.
Standing ahead...
Were the six assassins.
But this time everything was different.
The black suits covered their bodies completely.
Glowing lines ran across the armor.
Their presence felt heavier.
More dangerous.
Even standing still...
They looked stronger.
Much stronger.
The leader stepped forward.
"This time..."
"We won't be holding back."
Anshuman slowly looked at Ayaan.
Then at Sara.
Then back at the assassins.
The six assassins stood silently in the darkness.
Anshuman took a deep breath.
Then sighed.
"I think we're dead now."
Even Sara couldn't argue.
Because for the first time...
The assassins looked like the hunters.
And they looked like the prey.
The moment the leader lowered his hand—
The five assassins moved.
Not ran.
Not sprinted.
They practically vanished.
Ayaan's eyes widened.
"They're faster!"
Before he could react—
BOOM!
A punch slammed into his stomach.
Ayaan was launched backward.
He crashed through a streetlight.
The metal pole bent in half.
At the same time, Anshuman raised his arms to block an attack.
THUD!
The impact still sent him sliding several meters across the road.
"What are these suits made of?!"
Sara barely dodged a kick.
The pavement exploded where her head had been a second earlier.
The five assassins attacked without hesitation.
One came from above.
One from the side.
One from behind.
Their teamwork was terrifying.
Ayaan stood up and immediately blocked another strike.
The force traveled through his entire body.
His arm went numb.
"They're way stronger than before."
Across the street, Anshuman was fighting two assassins at once.
Usually he joked during battles.
Not this time.
The two attackers were overwhelming him with speed.
Punch.
Kick.
Elbow.
He blocked one.
Dodged another.
Then got hit by a spinning kick.
CRASH!
He smashed into a parked car.
The alarm immediately started blaring.
Anshuman groaned.
"Okay..."
"Now I'm annoyed."
Meanwhile Sara was trying to keep distance.
But one of the female assassins suddenly appeared in front of her.
The speed shocked her.
A punch.
Sara blocked.
A second punch.
Blocked again.
A third.
This one got through.
Sara stumbled backward.
The assassin smiled.
"Too slow."
The leader watched silently from a nearby rooftop.
His hands remained in his pockets.
He wasn't helping.
He wasn't fighting.
Just observing.
Like a teacher watching an exam.
Below, the battle was getting worse.
Ayaan charged at one assassin.
This time he landed a clean punch.
The assassin barely moved.
Ayaan froze.
The armor absorbed most of the impact.
The assassin answered with a kick.
BOOM!
Ayaan was sent rolling across the street.
Dust filled the air.
The five assassins pressed forward relentlessly.
Every second they looked stronger.
Every second Ayaan, Anshuman, and Sara were being pushed back.
The leader smiled slightly.
"They're realizing it."
One of the assassins grabbed Anshuman.
Another moved toward Ayaan.
A third closed in on Sara.
For the first time in a long while...
The three agents were losing badly.
Yet as Ayaan struggled to stand...
A strange pain shot through his body.
The same pain he had felt after taking the old man's tablet.
His vision blurred for a moment.
Then, for the briefest second...
He thought he saw a dark silhouette standing behind him.
Watching.
Waiting.
And somewhere deep inside...
Something felt like it was beginning to wake up.
The fight had become completely one-sided.
Ayaan was on one knee.
Blood dripped from his forehead.
Anshuman could barely keep his balance.
Sara was breathing heavily.
The five assassins surrounded them.
The leader watched from above.
"It ends here."
One assassin stepped forward.
"Pathetic."
Another raised his fist.
Then suddenly—
A strange silence spread through the street.
The wind stopped.
The lights flickered.
And all three agents felt the same thing.
Pain.
An unbearable pain.
AAAAAAARGH!!
Ayaan grabbed his head.
Anshuman fell to the ground.
Sara screamed.
The assassins stepped back.
"What is happening?"
Then a white glow erupted from their bodies.
The entire street lit up.
The assassins covered their eyes.
The leader stood up immediately.
The glow became brighter.
Brighter.
Brighter.
Then—
BOOOOOOM!!
A shockwave exploded across the street.
Cars shook.
Windows cracked.
Dust flew everywhere.
When the light faded...
The assassins froze.
Standing where Ayaan, Anshuman, and Sara had been...
Were three completely different figures.
White suits.
White capes.
Glowing white eyes.
The moonlight reflected off their armor.
Their presence felt ancient.
Powerful.
Unnatural.
Inside those bodies...
Ayaan, Anshuman, and Sara could still see everything.
Could still think.
But they couldn't control their movements.
"What is happening?!"
Ayaan shouted.
"I can't move!"
Anshuman yelled.
Sara looked around in panic.
"Our bodies are moving on their own!"
One assassin recovered first.
"What have they become?"
He charged toward Ayaan.
His fist flew forward.
Ayaan's new body moved instantly.
The punch was caught effortlessly.
The assassin's eyes widened.
Then Ayaan's body twisted.
Using the assassin's momentum.
BOOM!!
The assassin was thrown over the shoulder.
Before he hit the ground—
A spinning kick smashed into his chest.
CRAAASH!!
He flew through a parked truck.
The entire vehicle flipped.
Silence.
Nobody could believe it.
Even Ayaan was shocked.
"I DID THAT?!"
"No."
A deep voice echoed inside his mind.
Ayaan froze.
The voice wasn't his.
It was coming from somewhere within the white suit.
The same thing happened to Anshuman and Sara.
Ancient voices.
Powerful voices.
The remaining assassins attacked together.
All four rushed forward.
Anshuman's body suddenly moved.
He leaped twenty feet into the air.
Landed between them.
The street cracked beneath his feet.
Then his cape moved like a living weapon.
WHOOOSH!!
Two assassins were sent flying.
Sara's body moved next.
She spun gracefully.
White crescent-shaped energy burst from her hands.
BOOM!!
The ground exploded.
The assassins jumped back.
For the first time...
Fear appeared on their faces.
The leader stared from the rooftop.
His calm expression had vanished.
"What are they?"
Below, the three white warriors slowly stood side by side.
The moon emerged from behind the clouds.
Its light shone directly onto them.
Their glowing eyes became brighter.
The deep voice echoed again.
Not just in their minds.
But across the entire street.
The assassins heard it too.
The leader heard it.
Everyone heard it.
The three warriors spoke together.
Their voices sounding ancient and powerful.
"We are..."
The moonlight intensified.
The white capes flowed in the wind.
And the three figures looked up.
"...Moon Knight."
For the first time since this war had begun...
The hunters no longer looked like the strongest people on the battlefield.
The five assassins stared at the three white-cloaked warriors.
A few minutes ago, the agents had been on their knees.
Now everything had changed.
The moonlight illuminated the street.
The assassins attacked first.
All five charged simultaneously.
But this time...
The difference was obvious.
One assassin rushed Ayaan.
His fist shot forward.
Ayaan's body moved almost casually.
He stepped aside.
The punch missed completely.
Then Ayaan tapped the assassin's arm.
The assassin spun out of control.
CRASH!
Straight into a parked car.
Inside his mind Ayaan was shocked.
"That's it?"
The voice inside replied calmly.
"Too predictable."
Meanwhile Anshuman was fighting two assassins.
One attacked high.
The other attacked low.
Normally this would have been dangerous.
Now it felt slow.
Very slow.
Anshuman simply looked at them.
"Guys."
The assassins attacked.
"You're moving in slow motion."
He jumped.
Both attacks missed.
Then he landed between them.
THUD! THUD!
Two quick punches.
Both assassins flew backward.
One landed in a fountain.
The other got stuck upside down in a bush.
Anshuman pointed.
"Perfect landing."
The assassin in the bush disagreed.
Across the street Sara was facing one of the female assassins.
The assassin tried several attacks.
Punch.
Kick.
Elbow.
Sara effortlessly avoided them all.
Then Sara sighed.
"I'm honestly too tired for this."
She grabbed the assassin's wrist.
Spun her around.
And tied her up with her own equipment.
The assassin blinked.
"What?"
Sara shrugged.
"I don't know either."
Within moments three assassins had already been defeated.
The remaining two exchanged nervous looks.
For the first time...
They weren't confident anymore.
The leader finally jumped from the rooftop.
Landing in the middle of the street.
He looked at his defeated teammates.
Then at the three Moon Knights.
For the first time...
He seemed concerned.
"Retreat."
The remaining assassins immediately turned to leave.
"NOPE."
Anshuman said.
He jumped forward.
Landing directly in front of them.
The road cracked beneath his feet.
The assassins stopped.
"That's cheating."
One muttered.
Anshuman grinned.
"Probably."
Ayaan appeared behind them.
Sara appeared beside them.
They were surrounded.
The five assassins realized it too.
There was nowhere to run.
The leader made one final attempt.
He activated a smoke device.
FSSSSSHHHH!
Smoke covered the entire street.
The assassins smiled.
Then suddenly—
The smoke parted.
The three Moon Knights were standing there completely unaffected.
The leader sighed.
"Of course."
Ayaan's body moved.
White crescent-shaped restraints appeared.
The assassins were bound instantly.
Anshuman helped tie them together.
A little too enthusiastically.
"Bro."
Ayaan said.
"They only need one rope."
"I'm making sure."
Sara laughed.
The assassins sat on the ground.
Defeated.
Captured.
Unable to move.
Agency vehicles finally arrived.
Mark stepped out.
He looked at the captured assassins.
Then at the three white-cloaked figures.
Even Mark seemed surprised.
"What exactly happened here?"
Anshuman immediately answered.
"We have absolutely no idea."
For once...
That was the truth.
The five assassins were taken into custody.
The leader looked back one final time before entering the vehicle.
Despite being captured...
He smiled.
Ayaan noticed.
"Why is he smiling?"
The leader said only one thing.
"You captured five."
The smile widened.
"But the sixth member was always the most dangerous."
The vehicle door slammed shut.
Silence filled the street.
Ayaan, Anshuman, and Sara exchanged looks.
Because they suddenly realized something.
The hacker.
The one who stole the files.
The mastermind behind everything.
Had never appeared.
And was still out there.
A few minutes later, another agency vehicle arrived.
Its doors opened.
Two agents stepped out.
Behind them was a man in handcuffs.
The moment the five assassins saw him...
Their expressions changed completely.
For the first time since their capture...
They looked worried.
Very worried.
Anshuman noticed immediately.
"Wait..."
"That's the mastermind?"
The handcuffed man looked completely ordinary.
No intimidating aura.
No dramatic entrance.
No terrifying presence.
Just a skinny man with messy hair and glasses.
Sara blinked.
"Seriously?"
Ayaan stared at him.
Then at the assassins.
Then back at the man.
The situation was so unexpected that he started laughing.
Anshuman laughed too.
Soon Sara joined in.
Even some agency agents were struggling not to laugh.
Ayaan pointed at the handcuffed man.
"This is your mastermind?"
The five assassins looked absolutely miserable.
One of them lowered his head.
Another looked away completely.
The female assassin sighed.
The leader simply closed his eyes.
Their reactions made it even funnier.
Anshuman nearly fell over laughing.
"You guys were acting like he was the final boss."
The handcuffed man looked offended.
"I am dangerous."
Nobody took him seriously.
Even Mark couldn't hide a small smile.
"Take them away."
The agents immediately moved the prisoners into armored vehicles.
The mastermind was placed into a separate transport.
As the convoy drove away, the mission was finally over.
The city was safe.
The stolen files had been recovered.
And the assassin organization had fallen.
Only then did Ayaan realize something.
His body felt terrible.
The white Moon Knight suit had vanished.
The strange power was gone.
The moment it disappeared...
Every injury returned.
"Ow."
Anshuman immediately sat down.
"Everything hurts."
Sara nodded.
"I think every bone in my body is angry."
Ayaan laughed weakly.
"Same."
The three slowly made their way back home.
No missions.
No fights.
No assassins.
Just exhaustion.
After reaching the apartment, they practically collapsed.
Anshuman landed face-first on the couch.
Sara immediately claimed a blanket.
Ayaan sat down and leaned back.
For several moments nobody spoke.
The apartment was peaceful.
Finally Anshuman broke the silence.
"We almost died."
"Several times."
Sara replied.
"True."
Ayaan closed his eyes.
"But we won."
Nobody argued.
Because despite everything that had happened...
That was enough.
One by one, they drifted off to sleep.
For the first time in a long while...
There were no enemies waiting outside.
And for one peaceful night...
The world was quiet.
