The Trost district stands in ruins; the peaceful place turns into a battlefield; pure Titans plow through houses and buildings, hunting humans, while the Colossal Titan overlooks the wall, hurling pieces of the wall and cannons, targeting the military.
"Rico, we don't have time." Inside the Trost military HQ, Ian Dietrich stood with Rico Brzenska, with soldiers of Garrison standing behind them in formation, all geared up.
"You lead Team One to evacuate the civilians, and Team Two will be supporting you."
"Okay, so, I got the easiest task." Rico said, adjusting the specs she wore. "While you are going to hell."
"Are you complaining?" Ian looked at Rico, who silently glared at him.
"It isn't fair."
"Fair? Well, who made me in charge of the Trost district?" Ian replies, "You can go and complain to him."
"You can't—"
"Everyone, are all of you ready?" Ian ignored Rico, who glared at him in frustration.
"Yes, Captain." The soldiers responded in a unified voice.
Looking at the figures of Titan roaming the streets, Ian's face turned cold.
"Then, at the next signal, we will be moving out." With that, Ian stood still, his eyes constantly on the figure of the Colossal Titan, watching it throw another cannon.
Boom~
"Charge!!" Ian screamed as another building collapsed.
Hearing his command, the soldiers instantly moved out from the HQ building.

Swiss~
The compressed gas fired out from the ODM gear, propelling the soldiers through the streets of Trost.
The fifty soldiers navigated through the destroyed buildings, broken houses, and corpses.
The movement of this large number of soldiers quickly attracted everyone's attention; the distraught civilians looked at them in hope, and the Titans gazed at them in greed.
Suddenly, some soldiers started to move out of the formation; the now separated group of soldiers quickly diverted away, towards the wall, in the direction of the Colossal Titan.
The group of ten soldiers, Team Third, following the lead of Ian, swiftly advanced towards the Colossal Titan.
Ian, taking the lead, looked at the Colossal Titan, whose hand was in mid-swing.
"Take cover!!!" Shouting at the top of his lungs, he immediately dived down and took cover behind a building; similarly, the soldiers following him all rushed to take cover, hiding behind the sturdy houses and buildings.
The next moment—
Boom~
Broken pieces of metal and concrete arrived and crashed at the place where they hid.
"It is really targeting us." Ian peeked out from behind his cover, looking at the Colossal Titan, who was moving to grab another cannon.
"Move!!" Giving the signal, all of them again moved.
Rapidly crossing the distance, they inched toward the Colossal Titan.
Using the ODM gear, they easily traversed, quickly closing the distance.
But suddenly—
Arghh
A scream sounded, halting their momentum.
Looking back, they saw one of the members of their group being held in the mouth of an abnormal titan.
The soldier, with a fear-stricken face and tears of pain flowing out of his eyes, pleadingly shouted at them, "Save me!!"
Crunch~
The next second, pieces of his torn body fell down from the Titan's face, which looked at them with a blood-stained smile on it's face.
Seeing this, horror flashed on everyone's face.
"Watch out!!" The sudden, urgency-filled cry of Ian Dietrich sounded.
Startled, some soldiers quickly reacted and hurriedly took cover.
Boom~
The throw from the Colossal Titan arrived.
Arrghh
With which another scream reverberated.
Ian opened his eyes, causing the scene of the broken body of a member of his team to appear in his vision.
Everyone stood frozen in shock; the soldier who didn't react in time but got lucky as they didn't get hit quickly dived down and took cover.
"T-they died!" A soldier in shock looked at the cold corpse of his comrade.
The sudden loss of two of their members causes fear to grip their hearts.
"We will die before we reach the Colossal Titan." Another soldier murmured, squatting, gripping his head.
Ian looked at everyone, as they already stood defeated; helplessness flashed in his mind. 'Is it the end already?' He thought bitterly.
"W-wah..." Suddenly, a soldier gasped in surprise.
Attracting everyone's attention.
"L-look." The soldier with a surprised expression on his face pointed out his hand. "There is someone distracting the Colossal Titan."
Ian and others immediately turned around and focused on the pointed direction.
Looking there, they saw a human figure soaring in the sky.
When Ian and the soldiers rushed out of the HQ, Armin immediately spotted them. He had watched how the soldiers moved to evacuate the civilians and how a group split and then moved in his direction, clearly aiming for the Colossal Titan.
Noticing how that group quickly approached, the lost hope has rekindled inside his heart, but the next moment, the situation again changed; the squad of soldiers, which seemed to be charging at the Colossal Titan, suddenly broke down. In just a few moments, the squad of ten members was reduced to eight and got mentally lost.
Seeing that, Armin instantly moved, knowing that if he didn't do something, then there would be no solution to the Colossal Titan, so gritting through the pain, Armin once again fired the ODM gear and moved against the Colossal Titan, challenging it.
This time, he doesn't go ahead for the kill but tries to disrupt the movement of the Colossal Titan; quickly approaching its arms, he slices at them, and then with the same swiftness, he retreats.
His plan worked well; the Colossal Titan got distracted by him, and the defeated soldiers quickly stood up, ready to march once more.
Looking at the small figure of Armin, who hovered around the Colossal Titan, repeatedly striking it. Ian instantly understood the opportunity.
"Everyone, charge; someone is distracting the Colossal Titan." Saying that, Ian immediately fired the ODM gear, moving towards the Colossal Titan.
The defeated soldiers also got their hope back, looking at the small figure of Armin as he fought the Colossal Titan.
The remaining members of the squad immediately stood up and started following their captain.

How was the chapter?
For me, not great. I got super tired today, so I was not able to write something good, but hopefully tomorrow will be a better day.
