The warm sunrays fell on the yellow field.
A person riding a horse dives through the dancing golden wheat crops; the dark mane of the horse sways in the gentle breeze.
"Thud-thud," the sound of its hooves hitting the ground reverberated rhythmically.
The horse pierces through the wind.
"Neigh." suddenly the rider reins the horse, making it gallop faster.
The person wearing a large black overcoat and a bowler hat on their head steers the horse through the uneven path of the field; taking a few turns, they soon arrive at a farm.

The rider, stopping the horse, jumps down from its back.
Removing his bowler hat, the person revealed a middle-aged face streaked with wrinkles; Kenny Ackerman, with his deep dark eyes, gazes at the farm in front of him.
The wooden fence borders the farmhouse; inside, a windmill rotates its wing lazily, the heaps of straw and chaff adorning its corners, while inside the barn, a group of cows quietly gazes at the dried grass.
This scene gives the impression of what any other farmhouse looks like, but the deep craters and the ruins of the shed shattered the peaceful image.
Looking at the remains of the destroyed shed, Kenny takes a step forward, removing the shackles; he opens the gate and enters inside.
Gazing at the scorched craters and the huge deep impressions of the human feet, Kenny thought of the information he got this morning.
A confinement of his arrives in a hurry, who urgently reports that a sight of the golden thunders has been spotted inside the wall rose. Hearing that news, Kevin instantly sought out.
After the abduction of Historia, the second-to-last royal blood member, he had been actively searching for any clues as to where she had gone, but their every effort had been futile until he arrived at this farm, and looking at these familiar scored marks and the deep craters, which look like the foot impression of a human, but seizing their huge size, Kenny instantly confirms his doubts.
"What a mess; these guys really have no regard for someone else's property." Kenny said in a dissatisfied tone, condemning the perpetrator behind this.
As a person who follows the real royal family of the walls, he knows what this scene signifies; since the founding titan has been lost by the royal family, these deep craters only indicate the presence of another titan shifter.
And corresponding to the abductor of Historia, it further confirms the suspicions of Kenny that a Titan shifter is involved in both of these acts.
"Neigh," suddenly another horse voice sounded.
A person wearing clothes similar to Kenny's arrives at the farm; the person dismounting his horse hurriedly enters the field, and arriving near Kenny, he quickly says, "Captain, urgent news: two more members of the military regiment have been abducted."
"Huh, another case." Said Kenny in surprise. "When and where has this happened?"
"In the Trost district, the informant says that from last night two members of the military regiment are missing." Replied the newcomer.
"Oh, Trost district, it seems like that place has become the center of the storm." A sharp glint flashes in Kenny's eyes. "Well, then we have to dive in this storm."

"That was a risky move." Reiner's voice sounded full of underedge in it.
"Yeah, we almost got exposed." Said Bertholdt, tension evident on his face.
"Hmph, it was due to your carelessness, which let that survey corps member escape." A cold snort sounded from Annie, who glares at Reiner and Bertholdt.
"But, what can we do in that situation?" Bertholdt said helplessly, "That guy was really cautious; the moment he sensed something wrong, he instantly ran away from there."
"Are you sure he didn't identify you?" Ask Annie, worried about their possible identity leak.
"I am sure of that; otherwise, we would not be meeting here now." Replied Bertholdt with confidence.
"Argh, I said that beforehand; that plan was too risky." Reiner said in a complaining tone with a worried frown etched on his face.
"Then what do you suggest? Do you alone want to attack the Trost District?" Looking at Reiner, Annie questioned him.
"T-that I know, but how can the numbers of the titan decrease so much?" Reiner said in bewilderment.
As their training for the military regiment was coming to an end, they got sent to the Trost district for the training.
And just as they arrived in the Trost district, suddenly news spread about the sparse numbers of the titans roaming outside the wall.
At first they didn't believe the news, but when the strict changes started happening to the military structure, they understood the gravity of the situation.
Getting a roll call every few hours and submitting their ODM gear after the shift, this sudden strictness in the protocols makes it very inconvenient for them.
That's why, due to the sudden change, they were unable to have discussions on what their action should be.
Being stuck for many days, one day they finally decided on a meeting in which they decided to take down the Trost district.
But the next problem arises, that is the few numbers of pure titans outside the wall, so even if they breached the wall of the Trost district, the strength of the pure titans will be pitiable, which will not have much impact on the situation.
That's why, to combat the problem, they decided that Annie will travel outside the wall; using the ODM gear, she will gather the pure titans in a short period of time, after which Bertholdt, the Colossal Titan, will break the gate, and the horde of titans gathered by the Female Titan will then be directed towards the inside of the Trost district.
But, as their ODM gears get submitted after the end of their shift, they will not be able to move outside the wall.
Just then, another opportunity arises: the abduction of Historia and Ymir gives them a chance to elicit the situation, causing further unrest inside the walls, and get the spare ODM gear.
Which can solve their problems, but last night when Reiner and Bertholdt planned to abduct the unguarded military personnel, after getting successful on their two attempts, when they approached their third target, that guy, finding something wrong, immediately ran away from there.
"Nothing matters now; we have got the ODM gears, and that is enough. Tomorrow morning we are going to implement our plans." Annie said in a decisive tone, "If we delay any further, then the situation may go beyond our control."

Writing this chapter was a novel experience for me.
Amidst the cries of children, the BGM of the nonstop bickering, the debate of the politics, and the sweet shocks that travel through my spine, all cause me to write this chapter.
I am traveling on a train while writing this chapter.
