Chapter 16 - Further In

The air shifted the moment we entered the next chamber. Warm, moist mist curled across the glowing tiles, carrying a heady scent of flowers and something… sweeter. Pale blue fountains lined the walls, each spilling iridescent liquid into a steaming central pool. The ceiling pulsed with magic veins, dripping occasional sparks that hissed on contact with the "water."

"Whoa! This looks cozy!" Chimera cheered, bounding forward with giddy excitement. "Bath time!"

"Wait—" Saphielle began, holding up a hand.

Too late. Chimera leapt in with a splash.

The surface rippled, shimmered, then went still.

"…Chimera?" I called, stepping toward the edge. "You okay?"

No response.

"She's probably swimming," Leviathan said nervously, peering in. "Right?"

Another ripple. This time, a pulse of glowing pink energy spread across the water.

Suddenly, the entire pool churned and rose like a living thing. The "water" warped and inflated into a massive, gelatinous form—translucent, glowing, pulsing with swirling color and motion. Deep inside, Chimera floated upside down, her body twisted in blissful tension as the slime massaged and rubbed against her with slow, undulating rhythms.

Her mouth was open in a moan.

"Oh no," Bahamut murmured. "That's a pleasure slime."

"Seriously?" Ziz asked, eyes wide with delighted horror. "Those are real?"

"It feeds on magical energy," Saphielle said, calmly adjusting her hat. "But only through excessive stimulation."

"I'm going in!" Leviathan shouted, diving after her.

"Wait—!"

She was caught instantly. The slime split and spiraled around her body, wrapping her limbs in glowing tendrils, pressing and rubbing against every curve. Her moans echoed across the chamber, soft and breathy as she struggled—but failed—to push the slime away. Her eyes glazed, her legs shook, and the slime glowed brighter with each second.

"I'm ending this," Behemoth growled.

She stepped forward, cocked her fist, and slammed it directly into the slime's core.

The creature imploded in a burst of magical mist, leaving behind only steam, shivering gasps, and a puddle of slick residue.

Leviathan and Chimera collapsed beside me, dazed and panting. Their clothes were half-melted—shoulders bare, cleavage exposed, thighs and midriffs shining with magical residue. They shivered as the air hit their skin.

"S-So cold…" Leviathan murmured, hugging herself.

"Warm meee…" Chimera whined, crawling onto my lap and pressing her body to mine.

"Ah—wait, Chimera—!"

Leviathan whimpered and climbed into my other side, wrapping her arms around me. Her face pressed into my chest, and her hands clutched my shirt tightly.

"You're warm," she whispered, cheeks flushed, chest bouncing slightly as she breathed against me.

My face turned red.

"That slime was… intense," Chimera giggled, her breasts smushing against my side. "But I liked how you came to save us, Master~"

"I didn't do anything!" I protested, but I couldn't get them off me. The clinginess was unreal.

"Looks like their magical balance is destabilized," Bahamut said, tapping a glyph nearby. "The slime's stimulation left them needy."

"Oh nooo," Ziz said mockingly. "Poor Master. Drenched in dripping girls who just want his warmth."

"I—I'm fine—!" I stammered, trying to maintain sanity.

Ziz suddenly grabbed my wrist. "Not yet you're not."

"Huh—?"

She dragged me to the center of the room where a glowing red slab radiated heat from the floor—a heatstone. Ziz sat down on it, legs spread in a V, and pulled me between her thighs.

"W-Wait—Ziz—!"

She wrapped her arms and legs around me, her slippery, lightly sweaty body pressing against mine.

"This is for your health," she whispered, lips brushing my ear.

Then Bahamut knelt behind me, wrapping her own thighs around my back.

"Don't resist," she murmured, her chest squishing against my shoulder blades. "We'll warm you… thoroughly."

"I'm too warm!" I yelped, squirming—but I couldn't move. Their bodies trapped me, their thighs locking me into a sensual cage.

Ziz nibbled my earlobe. "You smell good, you know that?"

"Stop—my heart rate's spiking—!"

"That's the point," Bahamut said calmly. "The door opens when your pulse hits 150."

My body trembled. My vision blurred slightly as heat surged through me. Ziz pressed my hands onto her thighs and started rubbing herself against me rhythmically. Bahamut's breath was hot against my neck, her lips grazing my skin.

The room spun.

"Almost there~" Ziz cooed. "Just a little more."

"Will someone help me—!"

"No thank you," Saphielle called from the edge of the room, calmly writing notes into her spellbook. "I'm here to observe the effects of prolonged spirit-pleasure stimulation. For research, obviously."

"YOU'RE THE WORST!"

"Say 'aaaah' if you're enjoying it," Chimera mumbled from the corner.

Leviathan was still clinging to my leg, blushing and swaying. "M-Master…"

Beep—

The red glyph on the floor lit up.

Pulse 151.

Door opening.

Ziz grinned. "Aww, you made it."

"Barely," I gasped, collapsing into her chest.

Bahamut chuckled. "Better than CPR."

Saphielle clapped once, smiling smugly. "That concludes today's experiment. I'd say our bond strength is currently at maximum compatibility."

As the exit creaked open, I lay on the floor, drenched in sweat, covered in melting clothes, lipstick marks, and thigh imprints.

I wasn't sure if I was still breathing correctly.

But one thing was certain.

We were only on the third chamber.
