It was just after sunrise when Bahamut entered my room—quiet, graceful, and fully dressed in her white and gold celestial robes. Her long pink hair shimmered with light from the open windows, and her golden eyes were unusually serious.
"Get dressed, Master," she said with a mysterious smile. "Today, we're going to the sky."
I blinked, still half-asleep and tangled in my blanket. "The sky?"
"The Sky Temple," she clarified. "Hidden beyond the clouds, sealed to all but those chosen by my authority. You've trained well with me. But if you want to master my magic fully, you must pass three heavenly trials. Only then will your bond with me reach its true potential."
I blinked again, then sat up. "Wait, this is… training?"
Her smile curved with amusement. "Yes. Very serious training." She reached down and took my hand in her gloved fingers. "And I'll be with you every step of the way."
An hour later, we stood at the top of a remote mountaintop, wind rushing around us as Bahamut chanted a long-forgotten incantation. The sky shimmered like water, and a staircase of radiant energy spiraled upward through the clouds. We ascended together, the wind silent, the air shimmering with divine energy.
At the summit, resting atop a field of floating islands bathed in sunlight, was the Sky Temple—its towers gleaming white, trimmed in gold and lined with floating rings of script that shifted with the breeze. Bahamut led me to a circular dais.
"The trials begin now," she said. "Wisdom, restraint, magical control. Pass all three, and you'll have earned my full power. But be warned… failure will result in rejection. The temple decides who is worthy."
"Got it," I said, taking a deep breath.
"Good." She leaned in close, voice soft. "But before we begin…"
She suddenly kissed my cheek.
My face flushed. "W-What was that for?"
"A little encouragement," she said coyly. "Expect more between trials."
Before I could protest, the first test shimmered into being: a vast library with floating books and puzzle-like spells swirling through the air. The Trial of Wisdom.
I was bombarded with arcane riddles, enchanted illusions, and questions about history, magic theory, and divine runes. Bahamut floated beside me like a teacher, correcting me gently when I erred, but never giving away an answer.
I managed to solve each sequence with effort, my head spinning by the end.
"Well done," she said. "Time for your reward."
She pulled me into her lap as we sat on a floating cushion and cupped my face in her gloved hands. "Let your mind rest…"
She kissed me softly—then again, deeper this time. Her lips pressed against mine while her fingers caressed my cheeks. My hands gripped the edge of her robes, and I could feel her breasts press lightly into my chest as she pulled me closer.
When she finally pulled back, I was red and breathless.
"Bahamut…"
"That was just the first," she said, smirking.
The second trial awaited us: a courtyard of temptation, the Trial of Restraint.
I was surrounded by illusionary versions of the girls—each one flirting, teasing, even attempting to disrobe me with spells. My task was simple: stay focused and resist.
But Bahamut didn't make it easy. She joined the illusions, her real body straddling my lap while whispering in my ear.
"Can you tell which one is truly me?" she teased, her breath warm against my skin.
My heart pounded as I tried to resist grabbing her hips, her thighs pressed against me through her robes.
It took all my willpower, but I chanted a purification spell, banishing the illusions without giving in. My pulse was racing. Bahamut looked at me with genuine pride.
"Excellent. You've grown stronger."
And then she pressed me down into the grass.
"But you still need your reward."
She pulled open the front of her robe just enough to press my face gently between her soft, warm breasts. My body froze, every nerve on fire.
"This is your next meditation," she whispered. "Breathe… and focus."
I couldn't focus at all.
Finally, we reached the last chamber: a vast mirrored hall filled with silent whispers and a cursed aura. The Trial of Magical Control.
At the center stood a mirror spirit, a dark shadow trapped within a twisting pane of crystal. It lunged toward Bahamut the moment we entered.
"Protect me," she said, standing still, trusting me completely.
I summoned her magic—sacred light and divine shields—but the mirror's power struck deeper, unleashing visions of my deepest, most hidden desires.
I saw Bahamut beneath me, gasping my name. I saw myself kissing her neck, holding her close under the stars. Her body wrapped in mine, her breath soft and warm. The visions overwhelmed me.
"Focus!" I yelled, raising my hand and firing a blinding pulse of light.
I shattered the mirror.
Silence.
Bahamut stepped forward, placing her hand on my chest. "You saw them, didn't you?"
I hesitated. "…Yes."
She looked into my eyes, long and steady. "And now I know just how badly you want me."
My heart thudded.
She leaned forward and kissed my lips gently—then pulled me into a tight embrace, her soft body against mine, her golden eyes glowing with something deeper.
"You passed," she whispered. "But your training… isn't over yet."
And she didn't let go for a long time.
