Chapter 10 - Chapter 10: Giants Are Really Tough

A strike—an incredibly heavy strike!

This punch landed right in Kashii's abdomen, making his eyes bulge out as his body flew uncontrollably backward, slamming hard against the wall.

"Boom!"

"Kashii!!"

Oimo stared in disbelief at his fallen comrade. It was the first time he had ever seen a human capable of such a feat.

After all, they were former warriors of the Giant Warrior Pirates!

"Giants really are tough," Meiser remarked.

The fact that this punch hadn't outright knocked the guy unconscious was proof of just how resilient the giant race was.

"Cough... cough..."

Blood trickled from the corner of Kashii's mouth, his face twisted in agony.

The opponent's strength was terrifying—he had nearly been knocked out cold by that single punch.

For a moment there, he had thought he was facing the two leaders of the giant race themselves.

"Clank... clank..."

At that moment, the inner gate slowly began to open—clearly, the people Meiser had ordered to unlock it had succeeded.

"Wha—?!"

Oimo gaped at the gate in shock. It had been opened?

How?

They had stopped this intruder, and no one else had invaded. So why was the gate opening?

"You bastard, was it you?!" Oimo roared in fury.

If they failed to guard the gate, their agreement with the World Government would be null and void.

How were they supposed to save their two leaders then?

"Yeah, it was me."

"Then die!"

Enraged, Oimo swung down his massive club, intent on crushing Meiser.

If the intruder was dead, then technically, they hadn't failed to guard the gate, right?

Unfortunately, such sluggish movements stood no chance of hitting Meiser.

"Alright, you can take a nap too!"

Meiser drove a fist straight into Oimo's stomach, sending him flying back to land beside Kashii.

"Damn it..." Kashii gritted his teeth, glaring at Meiser. If not for this bastard, the two of them wouldn't be in this state.

Just then, the roaring sound of the Rocketman echoed from behind—Kokoro had clearly charged in on it.

Meiser glanced back and saw the Rocketman already appearing at the main gate.

But at that speed... could it even stop in time?

Kokoro had mentioned that the Rocketman's structure was highly unique—once activated, stopping it wasn't an easy task.

It would be beyond awkward if they lost members because they couldn't brake in time.

"Guess I can't just kill you two yet," Meiser said, turning back to Kashii and Oimo. "Might as well put you to use as combatants."

"Both of you—look into my eyes."

Instinctively, Oimo and Kashii met Meiser's gaze, their bodies stiffening as if struggling against something.

But soon, their resistance faded, replaced by expressions of utter disbelief.

"Leader Dorry... is that you?!"

"Leader Brogy?! It can't be!"

The two staggered to their feet, hardly able to believe their eyes.

The two leaders they had been longing for were now standing alive before them?

How...how was this possible?

Meiser was visibly stunned, clearly not expecting such a reaction from these two giants.

This gave Meiser two pieces of information.

First: The effectiveness of genjutsu might be related to the target's willpower. Whether it was because they were giants would require further experiments to confirm.

The two giants had clearly struggled earlier, but after seeing something, they completely gave up resisting.

Second: These two giants before him seemed to recognize the two giants from Little Garden.

If that was the case...then these two could be considered allies?

Had he almost killed his own people?

"Leaders, why are you here?" Kashii asked. "Weren't you imprisoned in the Impel Down?!"

At these words, all the remaining standing Marines were dumbfounded.

What nonsense was this?

Where were Dorry and Brogy?

Had that self-proclaimed ninja done something?

"Not good, that guy did something," a Marine said. "Is this also a Devil Fruit...no, a ninja's ability?"

Though he didn't know what exactly happened, his instincts told him something was wrong.

"Hey, Oimo!"

"Kashii!"

"What are you two doing? Hurry up and kill him!"

"Hmm?" Kashii shot a cold glare downward. "What did you say?"

"You want us to attack our leaders?!"

"And didn't you say our leaders were locked up in the Impel Down?"

"That's right. To save our two leaders, we warriors of the former Giant Warrior Pirates agreed to guard this gate for a hundred years," Oimo said angrily. "So why are our leaders here?"

"Were you lying to us from the very beginning?!"

If these bastards had been deceiving them all along, they wouldn't mind showing them the true power of Elbaf!

"H-how could that be..." the Marine stammered awkwardly. "We wouldn't lie to you. It's that enemy over there who tricked you."

"He's not Dorry and Brogy—he's the enemy from earlier!"

Oimo blinked, glanced at Meiser, then swung his club down.

"Bullshit! That's clearly our leader!"

"Damn Marines, I'll kill you all!" Kashii roared in fury.

The two quickly dispatched the remaining Marines before turning to Meiser. "Leaders, why are you two here?"

"We'll discuss that later," Meiser said, pointing at the rapidly approaching Rocketman behind them. "First, stop that."

"Remember, don't damage the Sea Train. There are allies inside."

Oimo looked at the approaching Rocketman and thumped his chest. "Leave it to Oimo!"

"Kashii will help too!"

They set down their weapons, strode forward, and crouched into a catching stance.

"Clang!"

"Boom!!"

The two giants exerted their immense strength, forcibly bringing the rapidly moving Sea Train to a halt.

However, the Rocketman still caused them some injuries, leaving numerous wounds on their hands, but neither paid any attention to such minor matters.

After setting the Sea Train down on the ground, Oimo laughed heartily, "How was that, Boss Dorry? Did I do well?"

"Hey, I was the one who used more strength, Oimo!!" Kashii retorted unhappily.

Then he turned to Meiser with a grin and asked, "Boss Brogy, we've stopped the train. What should we do next?"

Meiser remained silent, his gaze shifting to the figures emerging from the train cars.

Although the Rocketman had come to a perfect stop thanks to the two giants, the inertia still left them slightly dizzy.

"What just happened?" Nami groaned, holding her head.

"I think I heard someone call Brogy's name just now," Usopp muttered, adjusting his mask as he looked around in confusion.

Then he noticed the two towering figures.

"G-Giants?!"

At that moment, the two giant figures seemed to grow even larger in Usopp's eyes.
