Alice staggered from the impact but somehow stabilised herself. It was as if something huge like an electric pole had hit her. Although, she was certain that there was no pole at point where she was standing.
Opening her eyes, Alice saw a very beautiful woman, one that she couldn't elaborate with just a few words. Her eyes were like a cold glacier, gracing every river's existence. Golden hair was cascading down in waves, down to her waist. Like a moth to a flame, she could feel herself attracted to her. She was the very personification of a goddess.
Suddenly, Alice shook her head. Confused, she looked at her in daze.
What the fuck happened to me?
The woman looked at her with coldness.
"I am sorry," apologized Alice.
The woman warned, "Watch where you are going." She dusted her off and grimaced in disgust. It was as if something disgusting had touched her.
Alice looked at her with eyes full of annoyance. Just as she was about to say something, her words got caught in her throat.
These features... I h-have... no, I remember. This is the villainess! 'The Final Boss.' Fuck, Serine Folstere is standing in front of me. Not a 'goddess!' This woman is a 'monster!'
Serine yelled, "Get out of my way." She pushed Alice, making her fall on the ground with a thud. With a click of her tongue, she threw the gloves on the ground and walked away.
"Ouch! Has she never received any formal education?! Who pushes someone on the ground just because he or she accidently bumped into her?" groaned Alice.
A beta man helped her to stand. Thanking him, she continued walking.
Serine Folstere was the ultimate villainess in the novel. A very cruel and angry woman, who destroys whoever crosses her path. Just like me, I guess. She was a very powerful businesswoman, having her name listed in the list of the richest people in the whole world. Now, how come she is walking in public without having any security? Oh! I remember. At this point, she is still struggling with her family. It wasn't a matter of time before she would take over her family business. Right now, she isn't rich and famous. Then again, I don't want to imagine her character after she gets what she wished for.
Alice shuddered in fear. Even the male leads looked tame compared to her.

After buying everything, I reached home. Well, I have decided that I will give this house a makeover. I mean, I will renovate it... all by myself. 'OG' Alice was living in a dump but I will not. At least, some conditions can be improved, can't it be?
Well, let's clean first. Suddenly, my head started to spin. I tried to hold on to something. But just before I reached it, I had already lost my strength. I fell on the ground and finally lost my consciousness.

Continuous dripping of water could be heard. A rancid smell was present in the air. Rats were infesting over the rotten food like their lifeline. Suddenly, a groan was heard. Alice rubbed her head and slowly stood up. Her legs were wet. But what shocked her was fact that she was standing over sewage water.
No, that's not right. I am standing on the fucking water! What the fuck is happening?!
"You look confused, Aaron... or, should I say 'Alice?' You are settled, I see," said an unknown voice.
Alice turned around and saw an unknown woman looking at her with a smirk.
"How do you know that name?" asked Alice. Her instincts could tell that the woman standing in front of her wasn't normal. Her eyes were violet in colour, and her hair was silvery blue. A smirk was adorned on her 'doll-like' face.
The woman merely laughed at her question. She replied, "Of course, I know you. I am the one who brought you here."
Alice was shocked to hear this answer. This woman? She was the one who brought her here? Why did she?
The woman continued, "I know what you are wondering. But trust me... I brought you here because you were the only soul I could find at that time."
"I am feeling offended, thank you very much," snorted Alice.
"Well, your welcome. My name is Gretchen. I am a 'book fairy.' You can think me as the sacred guardian of the books. My job is to see if a book is on its correct path or not," said Gretchen,
Alice crossed her hands over her chest. She asked, "Okay, Gretchen, the book fairy. Tell me, why am I here?"
"That's a good question exactly. Well, what did you do before you started teaching chemistry?"
Alice lowered her gaze at that question. Fidgeting, she replied, "I was just a chemistry teacher."
"Nah, you weren't. Your profession was something else, right?"
Narrowing her eyes at her, Alice scoffed, "You know about it already. Just fucking ask it. Although, I have to say... this 'book's plot' is already in ruins. Gretchen, you are doing a terrible job. Man, I am really sorry for you."
Gretchen smiled widely at her words. A sense of unease washed over Alice as she watched her floating towards her in the air.
Stopping in front of her, Gretchen said, "Alice, no need to feel sorry for me. Ah, where was I? Yes, your previous profession. You were a bodyguard, right?"
Blushing, Alice yelled, "I don't want to talk about that."
"Oh? I am sorry then," Gretchen apologized. Although, her apology was as insincere as hell.
"Look, just tell me why am I here? And why does my previous job have any sort of relevance here? Just for the record, I was a terrible bodyguard."
Gretchen nodded, "I know, but you had your good moments, right?"
"Nope."
"If that's you think, then fine. You want to know why did I bring you here? Because I need you to do something for me," said Gretchen.
