Chapter 11 - Chapter 11: Assasin.

Ezreal stood in the center of the room.

Five lives. Five paths. Strength. Distance. Faith. Power.

Or silence.

"I don't want to be seen," Ezreal said.

The hooded woman smiled

"Then don't hesitate."

His skills consumed quite a bit of mana; he upgrades his intelligence to boost his max mana, so he could use his skills without worrying about running out each time. He was quite satisfied with his stats spread. With this he was confident on taking on the quest without much difficulty.

If only he could find a better weapon, he still had the one he gotten from the game, but now that he looked at it the stats were rubbish compared to his. He had no doubt that he could find a better weapon in the town from one of the many blacksmiths but he had no doubt that they cost a lot. He opened his interface, looking at the amount of coins he had, a measly 2 silver. It seemed he would have to make do with what he had.

He slowly made his way out of the town and into the nearby forest. According to the info gotten from the quest forest cats were mostly solitary creatures meaning he had an advantage. Since his class mostly focused on 1 on 1 combat.

The forest welcomed him with silence.

Towering trees blocked most of the light, their thick canopies casting long shadows across the moss-covered ground. The air smelled damp and alive. Leaves crunched softly beneath Ezreal's boots as he moved deeper, careful with each step.

Ezreal crouched behind a fallen log, his eyes scanning the undergrowth. His breathing steadied as instinct took over no longer a player thinking in numbers, but a hunter reading signs. Broken twigs. Scratches on bark. Faint paw prints pressed into the soft earth.

From between two trunks, something emerged.

The Emerald Forest Cat was larger than any normal feline, standing nearly as tall as Ezreal's waist. Its fur shimmered faintly green under the filtered light, veins of bioluminescence pulsing beneath its skin. Long, curved claws dug into the soil as it moved, muscles coiling with predatory grace.
