As the battle had progressed the battlefield had delved into complete chaos as the pitfalls had filled up and the rest of the beasts pressed forward .
The disciples who had been staying in the back for long ranged attacks now had now also moved forward as the battle was too chaotic for any more big attacks.
At his point more than 30% of the beasts had been dealt with. The initial traps and bombardment had proven very effective but now that the battlefield had fallen into chaos the beasts innate advantage was beginning to shine. This advantage was their innately stronger bodies that would both survive and fight longer than humans. Luckily all the pills the alchemist were providing were aiding in closing that gap otherwise this would have been a losing battle.
On the other side the disciples were down only 10% either due to injuries or deaths it would have been higher if not for Alara. While Alrin was in the front piling up bodies Alara was in the back saving disciples. Her lotus petals were spread across the battlefield and whenever a disciple was in danger her petals would appear to save them but she would not be able to do this much longer with the appearance of two Sen beasts both at the 9 core.
"Alara Vera, two 9 core beasts appeared get your group and deal with them." Silvia quickly alerted the two when it appeared.
Vera who had also been going across the battlefield aiding different groups who were struggling while simultaneously going after the stronger beasts but with the appearance of the two 9 core beasts her attention would shift away once again.
The first much more notable appearance was that of the Titanic Ice mammoth with its slightly blue coat and giant husks. Its size easily dwarfed any other beast on the battlefield being over 30 feet tall. Although large it was not the most agile so it had taken longer to arrive than the rest of the beasts. Once it appeared it continued to charging across the battlefield killing both humans and beasts alike died with it not caring in the slightest.
On top of the mammoth was the second 9 core beast an Ice-Crystal Beast and this one was even stronger being a Greater Sen Beast the grade below a Divine Beast. This beast was composed entirely out of ice-crystals and had no definitive form shifting as it pleased. As it sat slept on top of the mammoth the form it chose to take one was that of a ice-crystal serpent. In addition this beast was nearly unkillable in cold regions as it could easily heal itself from the snow and ice around it as long as it had energy left.
After receiving Silvia's message Alara who was closer to the other three immediately alerted them to their new priority.
"Of course it got worse." Rex complained.
"You can complain later." Alara said as they took off towards the mammoth.
A minute later Vera arrived and joined up with them as they were now in attacking distance of the mammoth.
"How are we supposed to stop that thing from charging?" Rex said
"Alara, Rex you two create a wall. Edward, Alrin go for its feet. I'll slow it down with my time flame." Vera commanded.
Vera sent out her green time flame covering the beast and while it did not hurt it it was successful in slowing it. Rex sent out his earth script and it flew path the mammoth as the word shifted to 'barrier' as a massive wall appeared in-front of it. Alara user her petals to create two giant hands that she was using to slow its charge. Edward and Alrin caught up to its feet and and began trying to cut it down but its coat was incredibly strong and they were only barely injuring it.
With all of them working together the mammoth began to slow even more and more until it eventually hit Rex's barrier and despite all this it still cracked and broke. Although it broke they still managed to stop it for a few seconds which was all they needed.
"World Slice" Using this time Edward used the same attack he had learned when he took down the nightmare beast. It was his strongest attack at the moment but it only left a deep wound in the beasts leg. This was due to 2 reasons one is the naturally fact that he was just weaker but the second was that he had also yet to fully master this attack.
Edward's attack may not have done as much damage as they would have hoped but it was enough it would have difficulty charging across the battlefield with such a damage leg. This unexpectedly cause its attention to shift to the 5 of them as a wail suddenly escaped from its mouth.
This wail was not meant for intimidation no it was meant to wake up the sleeping beast atop it and it succeeded as the beasts eyes opened.

Back in the sky Silvia was growing frustrated trying to deal with this illusive phantom rat. This was due to the fact these beasts were of the illusion path and if one's path was not suited to dealing with it or they did not have a strong enough artifact for illusion it would result in a slow tedious battle.
In the sky were thousands of rats that Silvia was able to deal with quickly as her hundreds of lights were firing beams of plasma through all of them. The greatest difficulty was that she had to be careful not to hit any mortals below her.
"You're getting close you almost had me that time." The rat's voice echoed out from all the rats taunting her.
"What is your goal? If its to drain my energy you are wasting your time once summoned my atomic-stars take little energy to maintain." Silvia said.
"Goal? Its obviously to have fun. I'm just killing time until the divine beast its captured by someone. Of course if I manage to kill and eat an immortal that would be even better." The rat said continuing to mess with her.
"So you think you can leave whenever because of your illusions?" Silvia questioned.
"Of course how could a Stellar Path cultivator have any ways to discover me?" It questioned her back.
Hearing that Silvia simply smiled back as she continued her attacks.
"Lets see how you feel when I do this." As the rat said that all the illusions turned from rats to illusions of all the disciples below. "Anyone you care about here?"
Silvia began spreading her atomic-stars across the sky and began destroying the illusion. Eventually she came across the illusion of Alara and Vera and she did feel a little bad destroying their illusion but it was something that had to be done so she did it without hesitation.
"I guess not how boring." It said as more illusions spawned.
At this point Silvia had already lost interest in conversing and ignored the rat. Seeing that the rat began its real battle as it sent its illusions to attack her.
Being an immortal path expert of the Illusion Path the illusions created by the rat were able to take on a physical form and attack. They would be fairly easy to destroy but the fact they could do damage still made them incredibly dangerous.
Once the illusions were made physical they began requiring a second hit to be fully destroyed causing great difficulties for Silva as they were slowly beginning to overwhelm her.
"Hmm? Your weaker than I thought are you only a superior immortal? Tsk tsk humans really are too impatient with cultivating choosing to be anything less than a true immortal is a waste." The rat began criticizing her.
While it was criticizing her a giant star appeared from Alara's that began destroying everything in the vicinity with its heat. She only maintained it for a fraction of a second any longer and the disciples below would have been impacted but even this took a lot of energy and she was breathing heavily.
"OH! Not bad not bad how unfortunate you have to be careful of the mortals below or you could have done some serious damage to me how truly unfortunate." The rat acted like it was genuinely sad at that fact. "Well I'm a little disappointed you might not even be worth eating."

As for the rest of the disciples down below with the absence of Vera and the rest the pressure had become to mount. Yet despite this pressure it seemed things were going the way Silvia wanted as disciples were beginning to rise to the occasion. These were the disciples that never truly had a chance to shine before because they were the type to shine in times of war not peace.
One disciple just as they were about to get their head bitten off pushed their path to the limits and a sound wave emitted from them destroying the beasts brain.
While another disciple was forced to learn how to use its food path abilities in combat and the beasts that were attacking them began to turn into different types of sweets.
This battle would result in many deaths but would bring about the rise of many cultivators.
