I'd been racking my brain for days trying to figure out how to explain myself to Michelle. Her discovering I was at the ranch with Annabella last week only made everything spiral further out of control. I had planned to come clean about it, but having her walk in on me discussing it with someone else was possibly the worst way for her to find out. Just when I thought my day couldn't possibly get any worse.
