Monica's POV
"Seriously, Natalie, how did you manage to get Jasper to sign off on tonight's outing?" I questioned while applying mascara in my bathroom mirror, watching her precise movements as she lined her lips.
"Easy peasy. I simply mentioned I was having a girls' night out," Natalie replied with a casual shrug.
"And you conveniently left out the part about the guys joining us?" I raised an eyebrow at her reflection.
"That's merely a technicality, Monica! Besides, I haven't forgotten how he's become best buddies with Morris lately, or that woman who was practically climbing all over him at the Social Club," Natalie huffed, her eyes narrowing at the memory.
"You're absolutely incorrigible," I laughed, putting the finishing touches on my makeup.
"It's completely harmless, Monica. Just friends having a good time together."
Once ready, we headed downstairs where our taxi awaited. We reached the restaurant simultaneously with Michelle and Aisha, meeting them at the entrance.
