Morris's POV
The conversation with Grady left me pondering how to best approach Natalie. I needed a solid strategy to convince her to help me with Monica. Then it struck me - the best route to Natalie would be through her boyfriend. As Monica's closest friends, gaining their trust was crucial to proving my sincerity about being her happiness.
I reached for my phone and dialed the number Grady had provided. She answered almost immediately.
"Hello?"
"Natalie, it's Morris Lorenzo. Do you have a moment to talk?"
I heard her exhale sharply. "Morris? How exactly did you get my number?"
"In my line of business, acquiring information is rarely a challenge," I replied smoothly.
"Too bad those skills failed you when it came to verifying whether Monica was actually unfaithful before you destroyed her," she shot back.
This girl had claws - Grady had warned me. "I deeply regret my actions, Natalie."
