We strolled three blocks to reach the upscale bistro where Colby and his group of friends awaited us. They made quite the impression – a collection of dashingly handsome men who rose to their feet when we entered, their smiles genuine and welcoming.
"Ladies, you outshine every star in the sky – and that includes Aisha and Michelle," Jenna proclaimed, greeting each of us with a light kiss on the cheek that felt both respectful and flirtatious.
After settling into our seats and ordering, I found myself genuinely enjoying their company. Maxwell's witty jokes had us all laughing when I felt Colby's warm fingers brush against my hand. He leaned close, his breath tickling my ear as he whispered with a devastatingly seductive smile.
"Don't turn around just yet, gorgeous, but your three troublemakers just walked in."
