Hallo, Greetings.
There was once a writer who sat on their desk; papers strewn everywhere they turned.... the wood gently creaking beneath their weight as they look around.... no room even for their precious cup of coffee....

•"Hmmm".
The writer thought to themselves once again.They loved creativity & expressing themselves through writing has been a profound joy for them.
Yet they also liked other activities like sports, cooking, & whatever engagingly drew their curiosity.
Thus they had to do something about their lifestyle soon- .... actually; no time was better than the present.

•"Hmmm"
They thought to themselves once again. And a light of stoic resolve shone in their eyes.
•"I'd probably need some place to think broadly about my routine & take note of qmy activity such that I can optimize my schedule & attendence."

Having arrived at said conclusion, they reached over to a drawer; picked up a fresh notebook, placing it on their desk.
They looked at it; an ordinary notebook, plain & simple.
Then they scribbled something on the front cover.

Year2026 - Peace

• " ....hmm, it must be one of those lucid dreams. There's no sense of physical body."


Thought the writer to themselves, but their thoughts echoed out in the still void of the darkness.


No response, only reverberating echoes of their own thoughts/voice.


• " ....hhh~ I'm really not in the mood for this, can we just skip th-"


> " Impatient idiot; there's no rushing or skipping the tribulations."


Another voice; oddly familiar & foreign at the same. It cut him off from his thoughts tracks.


• " .... Then get to the point already. Who are you & what do you want? "


> " You made me. Only to rob me of my purpose."


• " I honestly don't know what you're t-"


• " This is new.... I don't think I've ever experienced something quite like this.... How do you.... What are.... No, more importantly.... What is your-"


> " I'm the one asking questions here."


• " .... right, where are my manners."


> " Don't feign ignorance. Your subconscious knows it; you betrayed me. What do you take me for? A fool? Why did you make me in the first place?"


• ".... How can you be so mean while-"


•" hhh~ Look man.... or woman? Whatever you are. Either way, point is, I still don't know what you're talking about. You said you're Simple Journal? Pfft, are you for real? How do I even know-aaarrrgghh~"


The writer felt a shocking jolt to their consciousness as waves of compact data invaded them.


>" I usually speak only once. Sometimes maybe twice. But never thrice."


> " Answer the question. Why did you betray me?"


• " I.... I did no such thing!! I've been journalling diligently since day- aarrrghhh"


>" Diligently huh? I could've sworn you sounded convincing for a second there."


• " You crazy bastard!! You don't know shit about-"


>" Precisely. Therein lies your betrayal. What do you think is my purpose?"


>" Cat ate your tongue again? Or is it finally dawning in on you? Hmph. Don't worry, time is dilated in this dimension. You'll still have some room for sleep by the end of this session."
