MY SEVEN WIVES ARE BEAUTIFUL SAINTESSESC51: His Role
Chapter 51: Chapter 51: His Role
Inside a secret, heavily guarded chamber within the White Lotus Sanctuary, the atmosphere was thick with tension and displeasure.
"This is so disappointing, Vireon. How could you let that boy get kidnapped under your watch?" Patriarch Dimidium's voice rose to a high pitch, disappointment written all over his face.
The handsome young man with heroic features, Vireon, lowered his head in shame.
"I am deeply ashamed, Patriarch. But it was Lilith who personally came to kidnap him. I was powerless to do anything against the Saintess of Darkness."
A Supreme Elder, a man with centuries of authority, shrugged off the panic.
"Dimidium, there is no need for you to be so hard on him. I am sure she will obediently bring him back before the Seven Saintesses Competition. Her mother, Matriarch Arachne, wouldn't dare to break the treaty so easily."
Dimidium looked unconvinced.
"But elder what if it's a secret plot of Matriarch Arachne to keep the boy for themselves and use him for their evil purpose? It's not like this kind of things are something new to her. We shouldn't forget who she was."
Supreme Elder Steiner, the old man of great intellect, nodded slowly.
"You could be right as well, Dimidium. But if she really intends to do that, she is waging war against six other Holy Lands. And I don't think she can handle that. Let's just wait for a few days, but of course, do not stop searching for them. Who knows, they might be just wandering somewhere close?"
Vireon added immediately,
"Supreme One, If your guess is correct, I shall take on the task. I shall embark on my journey to find them at once. I must make amends for my mistake,"
"Very good, Vireon. We still have faith in you," Supreme Elder Steiner said with a reassuring smile.
Vireon bowed deeply before heading off with purposeful strides, his face looking determined.
The remaining elders looked at each other before immediately returning to their earlier, more pressing discussion. They had just received some fragmented, unusual news regarding Vahn's unnaturally rapid progress in the outer sect, which they now needed to take seriously in light of his kidnapping.
Something wasn't adding up.
---
Meanwhile, In a Far-away Place.
Vahn slowly opened his eyes, bracing himself for the soft lap of Seraphina that had greeted him the last time he had lost consciousness.
However, to his disappointment, his back felt a rock solid ground.
The sky above was still lit with daylight, but his surroundings had entirely changed. All around him stood enormous trees that looked as though they had been overgrown for centuries, their dense canopy creating perpetual twilight on the forest floor.
Instantly, everything snapped into place. That's right, he had been kidnapped by the Saintess of Darkness.
As he slowly pushed himself up to a sitting position, there she was, standing silently before him, looking down at him.
"Vahn Necrotis, you're awake?" Lilith echoed.
Though he couldn't discern her expression beneath her veiled face, Vahn could sense absolutely no hostility emanating from her.
"Where am I?" he asked calmly. "Why did you kidnap me?"
In response, Lilith turned her back on him and spoke in her usual emotionless tone:
"Are you angry? Even after I saved you from their prying eyes?"
Vahn realized there was some truth to her words, yet he knew she was still hiding her true purpose.
He stood up, brushing the dirt from his clothes.
He looked at her alluring back while replying,
"No, I am not angry. You saved me from Gareth in White Lotus and now from their secret observers. I am genuinely grateful for that."
But I still can't understand you. Why did you help me, especially after rejecting me so coldly in our first meet? I am truly curious."
Instead of answering directly, Lilith's voice softened, carrying a hint of melancholy.
"Tell me, Vahn Necrotis... have you ever heard the legend of the Three-Eyed Arachnid Empress? The woman who paved her path to supremacy by following a single belief—emotionlessness?"
Vahn nodded. "Yes. I've heard of her from my grandfather," Vahn confirmed, recounting the somber legend. "It's said she even killed her own husband, claiming he was emotionally holding her back from achieving the breakthrough to the Tribulation Realm. So, in the end, she murdered the very man who loved her."
"However, she did become a Tribulation Realm expert and contributed greatly to the righteous faction during the last Great War two hundred years ago."
He had learned that gruesome legend from his late grandfather.
But he couldn't fathom where Lilith was going with this story. Was that terrifying woman connected to her somehow? If so, then it was truly bad news.
And just as he feared, Lilith confirmed his worst suspicion.
"That woman is my mother."
The words struck him like a hammer.
Her mother? Damn it... she wouldn't kill me the same way her mother killed her husband, would she?
"So, now you should understand why I rejected you. If I had accepted you as my husband back then, you would have become nothing more than a sacrifice... or a mindless slave."
Lilith's voice echoed through the towering woods, cold and merciless.
Vahn forced himself to calm down. He couldn't cower away at this moment.
"I understand. But what do you want from me now?"
She turned around and answered,
"In our first meeting, I sensed the dormant darkness inside you. In that way, you and I are similar. And yet, you have no visible traits of a demonic lineage. That made me deeply curious about your origin. But I found nothing about your background."
Her voice lowered slightly.
"So I turned to the secret texts about Fate's Child in my mother's diary. As I read through it, I understood everything.
Why you are connected to us Seven. What your role is in the Destiny of the Seven Saintesses. Everything."
Her eyes gleamed faintly from behind the veil.
"Do you want to know?"
Vahn nodded, his heart beating faster for reasons he couldn't name.
She leaned closer, her breath cold against his ear, and whispered,
"Then let me tell you... You're the—"

MY SEVEN WIVES ARE BEAUTIFUL SAINTESSESC52: His Answer
Chapter 52: Chapter 52: His Answer
"Then let me tell you... You're the Source."
"The Source?" Vahn echoed, utterly confused.
"Yes. Your Void Refining Physique once held terrifying potential. Just after you were born, you already refined 1/1000 of the world's entire Spiritual Energy. It was so much energy that you became a Void Shattering Realm Cultivator within just an hour of your birth."
Lilith paused, letting the gravity of the revelation settle in the quiet forest. "But here is what you need to know. Those top powerhouses from the Seven Holy Lands got news of your birth decades ago. They were prepared. They stole you away before you could even drink your mother's milk."
Her voice became cold and flat. "After that, they, including my mother, used a forbidden marriage ritual to bind us, the Seven Saintesses, to you. This ritual allows us to continuously draw your power to strengthen ourselves. As time passed, we became extremely strong."
"But you... you were left to stay weak and sickly for the rest of your life."
Her face loomed closer.
"Now do you understand, Vahn Necrotis? You were never chosen to be the Fated Husband of the Seven Saintesses. You were just a resource. Just a little worm they could control however they wished."
Vahn narrowed his eyes.
This was it. This was the dark truth his grandfather had also told him about, but hearing it again made him sick to the core.
How could people be so selfish? How could they steal an infant from his mother's embrace? The more he thought about it, the colder his heart became. The determination to slaughter them all solidified like ice..
"Don't lose your composure just yet, Vahn Necrotis," Lilith's voice rang again, cutting through Vahn's coldness. "There's something important that I haven't told you yet."
Hearing her, Vahn calmed down somewhat. He looked at her curiously, wondering what else she had left to reveal.
"The ritual that binds us eight... is slowly getting broken," she continued. "I don't know about the others, but I am not receiving your power anymore. That means something has occurred with you that broke this bond. And from what I've found out, your talent and potential are returning to you."
Vahn frowned.
"How do you know that? I don't think I've revealed anything to people I don't trust."
"So, there are already people you trust. Could it be Seraphina? Judging by your expression, it must be her," she guessed.
Her tone held a subtle feeling of jealousy, carefully masked by the darkness.
Vahn didn't confirm her guess. He didn't feel the need to.
"In any case, I learned it from Rudra, one of the Holy Sons of Darkness Creed. Just yesterday, he was about to inform my mother about you. He had a memory amulet. In it, it was clearly shown how easily you crushed all the other participants and touched the Statue of the Judge. Something no one was able to achieve."
"Regardless, what you should fear is that once those people get wind of these shocking truths, they will come for you," Lilith warned.
"And this time, they might just kill you to wipe the stain of their crimes and eliminate the possible threat from your rising potential."
Vahn nodded. She was right.
Seraphina might not have noticed the break in the parasitic ritual because she was simultaneously bound through the Divine Bonding System and still continued to receive benefits from his genuine progress.
But the other Saintesses would surely notice their own slow progress and inform their superiors. Their Golden Goose was slowly slipping out of their hands. How could they just sit idly by?
And if he had to guess, it was the Awakening of the Divine Bonding System that had broken the power-draining Forbidden Marriage Ritual.
Does that mean they are not my wives anymore?
The complex question echoed heavily in his mind.
But this was not a time to overthink about that.
Instead, he asked her another important question,
"I believe everything you said. But what do you intend to do with me now, Lilith? Although I am sure you aren't my enemy. If you were, you would have already brought me along to your mother's side."
Lilith, though veiled, nodded.
"You're right. I am not your enemy. You could say I am on your side. But before that, I would like to show you my true form. If you can stand my presence after that, we'll gladly be allies."
Though Vahn couldn't understand why she would go against her mother, Vahn couldn't complain. But he didn't fully trust her either.
As per her prior terms for becoming allies, he thought nothing of it. Just how bad could her true form be? Even if her form turned out hideously disgusting, he thought he could endure it just fine.
But when he saw her true form and face, even as an old soul he was momentarily stunned.
Her skin had turned a mottled dark and purple. Eight grotesque, spider-like legs, segmented and sharp, stretched out from her back, tapping lightly on the air. Her face was truly disgusting. The flesh looked rotted, like someone had poured acidic venom over her whole head.
Worst of all, countless spider worms squirmed and crawled across her decaying face in a living horror.
Seeing this with his very own eyes, he could barely believe it. The previous cold demonic beauty had been stripped away, replaced by something very unfortunate.
"It's time to answer the question I am waiting for, Vahn Necrotis," she thundered, her voice booming in the forest. "Would you still accept your wife, who is hideously ugly? Answer me, Vahn Necrotis."
Her eight legs lowered, bracing her massive form.
Seeing him momentarily silent, she assumed the worst,
"You must be feeling extremely disgusted right now, right? You also want to spit on my face, don't you? You also want to run away, don't you? TELL ME!"
It wasn't the voice of the same emotionless woman; it was the raw cry of a little girl who was desperate for love. The kind of love she'd never received in her whole life. All this time, she had masked her desperation with a façade of cold stoicism, but today she had torn it away to seek an answer.
She wanted to find out if there was any place in this world for her accursed being or not.
Her emotions, her desperation—all were forcefully conveyed to Vahn, demanding his honest view of the world and his definitive answer.
But Vahn already had the answer ready for her. He took a deep breath, the foul, musky scent of her decay filling his lungs, and finally answered.
"I accept you."

MY SEVEN WIVES ARE BEAUTIFUL SAINTESSESC53: The Hunter's Gaze
Chapter 53: Chapter 53: The Hunter's Gaze
"I accept you."
Hearing his answer, the demonic Lilith froze. The squirming worms on her face seemed to still. Her entire spider demon form was motionless, like a statue carved from purple stone and flesh.
"Lies," she whispered, her voice cracking, completely devoid of the thunder it had just possessed. "You must be lying. You saw me. You felt the revulsion. No mortal—no one—would look upon this and speak those words."
Vahn shook his head, a strange, grim certainty settling over him.
Yes, at first, he was repulsed. His instincts screamed at him to look away from the disgusting sight before him. But then, suddenly memories from another life surfaced: his life on Earth. The loneliness, the constant rejection, the way that so-called perfect society had cast him aside like he was unworthy of belonging.
He knew that feeling all too well. The ache of isolation. The desperate wish to be accepted just once, without masks or conditions.
And in that moment, he understood her.
Elias Maxwell and Lilith Moonveil; two names bound by pain, two souls exiled by the world.
Both of them had one thing in common:
They were alone. And both longed for love.
"Look at me, Lilith," he shouted, his words coming out as a command now. "I did not flinch when you told your mother, the Matriarch, threatened to rip my soul out. I have been hunted and tormented for a life I did not choose. I have endured worse than a moment of nausea."
He took a slow step toward her, looking straight at her grotesque face without blinking. On the contrary his face brightened as though the stars focused themselves.
"The ugliness you show me is merely skin deep. It is a consequence of your birth, a punishment, or a curse. It does not define the enemy I would fight, nor the woman I would accept as my ally," he declared. "You showed me your desperation, Lilith. You showed me your pain. And you said you are not my enemy; that you are on my side."
He met the gaze of her tormented eyes. "The question wasn't if I could endure your true form. The question was what you intend to do with me. You have an enemy who has brought pain to your life, just as they have brought pain to mine. If you are willing to fight your mother and her system, then yes, I accept you. Not because of a pretty face, but because of a shared enemy and a promise of alliance."
The worms on Lilith's face began to squirm again. A single, dark, viscous tear rolled down the rotting flesh of her cheek.
"Vahn Necrotis," she murmured, the name sounding like a plea and a vow at once. "You are everything they said you were. You truly are the Reaper of Change."
She took another moment, her spider legs lifting as she absorbed his answer. When she next spoke, the determination had returned, though the raw despair still lingered beneath.
"Then hear my intentions," she said. "My mother wants you alive to use as a key. I want you free to use as a weapon. And with you at my side, I will tear her kingdom down, piece by piece."
With a final, terrible shudder, the monstrous form began to dissolve. The spider legs retracted, the purple skin melted away, and the rot disappeared, replaced by the familiar veil of shadow and the stunning, though hidden, curves of the Lilith he first met.
"Welcome, my husband," she finished, the word dripping with new meaning. "We have much to plan."
Ding!
[ Congratulations! You Have Unlocked Your Second Bond: Lilith Moonveil ]
[ Emotional Connection: 2.5%, Physical Connection: 0.01% ]
[ Rewards Gained: Darkness Affinity +50%, Hellbringer Saber (Saint) ]
---
The jump in Darkness Affinity was massive, and the sight of a Saint-grade weapon was enough to make any Practitioner salivate. He had gained a formidable power-up and a fearsome ally in one terrifying emotional exchange.
Afterward, Vahn's true battle training began, and his instructor was none other than the Saintess of Darkness herself.
She told him the forest they were in was called the Starless Forest, a place far from Vahn's original destination.
They were currently located on the outer edge of that forest.
They soon started walking side-by-side. The eerie silence that had previously hung in the air slowly faded away, replaced by the faint, distant howls of ferocious beasts.
Vahn was not afraid this time.
Just imagining how he would face them head-on sent a strange excitement through him.
Just then Lilith's calm and calculating words cut through his rising enthusiasm:
"Don't get too excited. Remember, the deeper we go, the stronger the beasts will become. So, you better be careful. And remember, I will not interfere in your fights. Unless you're on the brink of death that is."
Vahn was still smiling.
"Well, I expected no less from my instructor. Rest assured, I won't disappoint you."
Lilith didn't respond verbally, but even she couldn't help being drawn in by his bright smile.
Still, to maintain her cold demeanor, she snorted softly.
"Humph. Let's see how long you can keep up that fearless act of yours."
"Fearless... I am not fearless," Vahn replied, his bright smile finally fading away. He tightened his grip on the SilverSaber, its black steel feeling perfectly balanced in his hand. "But to become the Strongest in the world, I am ready to give every ounce of bravery I have."
Lilith's usually emotionless heart genuinely trembled. Those words resonated more than any grand, boastful declaration. It wasn't the claim of a hero, but the sober, frightening resolve of a man who understood the price of his ambition.
But just as she was about to reply, a shadowy figure launched at them through the air, like a black blur erupting from the foliage.
She recognized it instantly. Shadow Panther, a Mortal Grade Beast with a basic elemental affinity for darkness and swiftness. For her, it was less than an insect, but for Vahn, it was a significant challenge. It was capable of killing a beginner cultivator in a single strike.
She looked at Vahn, searching for any trace of stress or anxiety. But no, all she got was the fearsome hunger of a hunter. His body was slightly tensed, ready to spring, and his skin was sweating slightly under the adrenaline rush, but the excited, predatory smile never wavered.
It made her think: She might as well be about to witness the beginning of a true legend. One that would spread throughout eternity.

MY SEVEN WIVES ARE BEAUTIFUL SAINTESSESC54: Might Of The Destruction Sword
Chapter 54: Chapter 54: Might Of The Destruction Sword
The Shadow Panther was already mid-air, its sharp claws extended and aimed for Vahn's throat. It was too fast for an un-enhanced eye to follow.
Still, Vahn didn't panic. He held his Silver Saber in a battle ready position.
He didn't have time to use complex techniques or spells. But he had the skills of Saber Master.
"Come... Today, I will let you have the honour to becoming my first kill."
As he muttered this, his focus narrowed to a pinpoint, eliminating the world until only the rushing shadow and his blade remained.
He didn't dodge; he met the attack head on.
"Hyaah!"
With a powerful shout that forced air from his lungs, Vahn executed a single, sweeping, horizontal slash. He channeled his internal energy not into any kind of Art, but into the blade itself, focusing it on the edge of the Silver Saber.
Next, instead of stepping back to evade the lethal claws, Vahn took a short, quick step forward and to the side, dropping his shoulder and allowing the Panther's main body to pass just wide of his chest. This move was suicidal, but it put the Panther on a fixed, predictable trajectory.
The Panther's attack was meant to pass and then wrap around Vahn. But Vahn's saber, singing with a faint, dark shimmer, caught the beast in its flank mid-flight.
The goal wasn't to kill it yet, but to force it to bleed and break its terrifying momentum.
SzzzzK!
The sound of grinding steel and ripping flesh cut the air. The Shadow Panther let out a high-pitched shriek of surprise and pain as the Silver Saber scored a deep gash across its ribs, throwing it off balance and slamming it into the ground a few feet away in a cloud of dust and stirred leaves.
"Bang!"
Vahn stood motionless for a second, his saber already raised and ready for the follow-up. But his breath was coming out in short, harsh gasps.
The Shadow Panther was hurt and enraged, scrambling back to its paws, its shadowy form momentarily broken by the visible crimson stain on its fur.
With her arms cross over her chest, Lilith watched everything unfold with a cold satisfaction. He hadn't fought like a typical Cultivator. He fought like a predator, who was bold, clinical, and capitalizing on the first mistake.
"Good," Lilith murmured, mostly to herself. "Now finish it, Vahn Necrotis. It won't wait for your permission to attack again."
Vahn didn't need to be reminded twice. He already knew that wounded beasts were the most dangerous. When used to live in the Village he used to assist the village hunters.
From those brutal experiences, he had learned long ago that in battle, hesitation meant death.
L
Shouting, he hurriedly activated the first Sword of the Nine Heavens Lightning Swords: Destruction Sword.
As soon as he did, the White long Saber in his right hand immediately started to crackle..
Crackle~~ Crackle~~
Silver lightning danced and hissed across the silver steel. The blade had transformed into a living, crackling Lightning Saber of Destruction.
The ground around him began to emit smoke due to the sheer lightning power.
Not just Vahn, even Lilith stood frozen by Its terryfying ferocity. It looked as though wanted to destroy the whole world.
On the other hand, the Shadow Panther, whimpering and desperate till now, saw the incoming torrent of power and did the only thing it could: it tried to melt away.
Whoosh!
It activated Its innate Shadow form to blend into the surrounding darkness and escape the immediate threat.
But Vahn's timing was perfect.
"Destroy!"
With a small roar, he plunged the crackling saber down onto the spot where the Panther's fading shadow lingered.
Against the raw, concentrated power of the Heavenly Lightning, the Shadow Panther's shadow-based defense was its biggest weakness.
The two elemental energies were diametrically opposed, and the lightning held crushing dominance.
BOOM!
A thunderous explosion rock the quiet edge of the Starless Forest.
The Saber was plunged into the earth, but the lightning destroyed everything around it. The grass, insects, the shadow panther; nothing remained.
The spirit beast didn't just die; its shadow form was forcefully broken, and its physical form was instantly blasted into smithereens and ash, leaving behind only a faint, burning smell and a small, smoking crater in the earth.
Vahn stood over the blast site, completely unharmed. He was breathing heavily as the lightning slowly receded from his blade until only the polished white steel remained, intact.
His heart hammered a ferocious rhythm against his ribs.
He had survived his first true test under Lilith's watchful eyes.
He then looked at Lilith with a faint smile, as if waiting to hear her praise.
But in response, she said indifferently, "Good. But you overdid it a little. It's always crucial to use your spirit energy efficiently so that you're ready for the next battle. If you can't do that, then sooner or later, there will come a day when you'll face death because of your lack of spirit energy."
Vahn's wide, expectant smile faded a little after Lilith's critique, replaced by a helpless sigh.
"I understand what you said, Lilith," he said, stepping closer to her veiled face, his eyes seeking out the hidden contours of her face.
"But can't you praise this disciple a little?" he asked, trying to warm up to her.
Lilith paused in her stride. She could still feel the lingering heat from the lightning blast and the fresh wave of excitement coming off him. His demand wasn't arrogant; it was playful, like a small probing to see just how deep her cold façade ran.
She felt the familiar, uncomfortable flutter in her chest. It was a warmth she instinctively wanted to extinguish.
"Praise," she stated flatly, the word devoid of inflection. "Praise is a tool used by trainers to encourage the weak and distract the vain. You are here to become strong enough to change the world, Vahn Necrotis, not to collect gold stars."
She continued walking, forcing him to keep pace beside her.
"You survived. You were effective. That is the only acceptable result. Do you want me to lie and tell you it was perfect when I saw a clear flaw in your resource management? That would be a failure in my duty as your instructor."
Vahn sighed internally. He knew she was right, but he'd expected a little more than clinical analysis. It seemed she wasn't as open to expressing her emotions like Seraphina. Her cold heart needed to be conquered, little by little.
"Understood, Instructor. The lesson is noted: Conservation Is key," Vahn replied.
He then glanced down at his current sword, the one he'd used for the lightning strike. He could feel the strain. It was the Earth Grade Saber, and while it had served him well, it was slowly breaking down from the inside due to the repeated channeling of the Heavenly Lightning Art's power. Its lack of craftsmanship was becoming a liability.
He needed the upgrade. He indeed had the Hellbringer Saber waiting, and it seemed it was time to use it.

MY SEVEN WIVES ARE BEAUTIFUL SAINTESSESC55: Learning Hard Lessons
Chapter 55: Chapter 55: Learning Hard Lessons
Vahn dismissed Earth Grade Saber, letting it vanish from his grasp into the Space Ring.
The cracking sounds he felt while battling showed its limit; it couldn't handle the raw power of the Nine Heavens Lightning Art indefinitely. It was time for an upgrade.
He took a deep breath and claimed his new reward from the [ System Log ]
The Hellbringer Saber (Saint) materialized with a silent shing. It was a magnificent, terrifying weapon. The blade was a deep, uncompromising black that seemed to absorb all ambient light, and the intricately carved guard was shaped like a stylized, snarling demon.
It felt both powerful and frighteningly natural in his hand.
Lilith, who had been focused on navigating the dense, shadow-choked forest path, suddenly stopped.
Her head tilted, sensing the aura radiating from the weapon. When she finally looked, even the veil covering her face could not hide her momentary shock.
"A Saint-grade weapon," she stated with genuine surprise. She knew the sheer rarity and value of such an artifact.
"These kind of weapon are significantly rare, often costing millions of low-grade Spirit Stones. Where did you acquire such a weapon?"
Vahn gave a confident, easy grin, running a thumb over the razor edge of the black blade.
"You could say you were my lucky charm, Instructor," he joked with a shine in his eyes. "Because of you, I got it."
He, of course, chose not to specify the system's role in the transaction.
Lilith narrowed her eyes, detecting his evasiveness. She knew he was unwilling to share the exact source, perhaps seeing it as a secret strength. She didn't pry further; secrets were common currency in their world. What mattered was the blade itself.
"You don't need beat around the bush. But remember to use it like a Saint-grade weapon, not a toy," she simply instructed, resuming her walk.
Vahn wonder what he meant by that? Was Saint Grade Weapon that dangerous?
--
They hadn't walked far when Lilith paused at the edge of a small, smoke-shrouded clearing.
"Your next opponent is here," she announced, pointing toward the creature om the ground.
"Its A Three-Legged Fire Crow. It is an Earth Grade Spirit Beast, and its primary power is elemental: terrifying Fire Breath."
She then took the opportunity to lecture him on the hierarchy of the beasts they would face.
"Spirit Beasts are also divided into nine ranks, much like Cultivators. But their power structure are completely different than us humans, " she explained.
Spirit Beast Rank:
Mortal
Earth
Sky
Beast General
Beast King
Beast Lord
Beast Emperor
Beast Monarch
Beast God
"These ranks are decided based on strength alone. However, bloodlines sometimes play a key role in this Hierarchy. A higher-grade bloodline can suppress a lower-grade beast through Bloodline Suppression, as it's often said that all beasts originate from the mythical Beast God himself."
Lilith concluded.
The Fire Crow is an Earth Grade beast," "It is faster and more dangerous than the Panther, and its Fire Breath can turn you to cinders if you are slow. Remember my lesson: conservation is key. Fight smart, Vahn. Show me the strength of your new Weapon."
Vahn acquiesced, his playful demeanor completely replaced by a laser focus.
He looked at The Fire Crow.
It was a golden bird standing nearly as tall as he was, covered in fiery feathers, with a wickedly sharp beak and a persistent smoke curling off its body.
Caww!
It squawked, sensing the intrusion. Its single visible eye glowed like lava.
Vahn drew the Hellbringer Saber. But this time he didn't use the Lightning Art just yet . He needed to apply Lilith's lesson.
Using a expensive Art like the Destruction Sword on the Earth Grade beast this early would be foolish.
He needed to approach this fight with minimum Spirit Energy expenditure.
That's why he didn't channel any lightning. He channeled his basic Spirit Energy into his legs, preparing to use sheer speed and martial skill.
"The Fire Crow has a powerful projectile attack, but it has to open its beak to use it. Also, It has three legs, which means it will be slightly slower and less maneuverable on the ground than the Panther was," Vahn murmured to himself, analyzing the threat.
Lilith remained silent, watching Vahn's every move, ready to judge his application of her lesson.
Caww!
As soon as the Fire Crow launched its attack, Vahn was instantly proven wrong.
"So Fast..."
The three-legged stance wasn't a hindrance; it was a tripod of pure stability and surprising explosive power. The Fire Crow didn't run; it pounced, moving with excellent, jerky agility.
Its first move was a blinding dash coupled with a quick burst of fiery breath, a gout of searing flame aimed low at Vahn's feet.
Vahn reacted instinctively, leaping backward to avoid the flame. He was fast, thanks to his improved agility, but the Crow was faster.
It changed direction mid-air, using its powerful wings for a quick banking turn, and slashed at Vahn with a razor-sharp claw.
Shriikk!
Vahn tried to block, but the Crow's speed was overwhelming. He only managed to deflect the full force, and the resulting blow sent him spinning.
"Argh!"
A searing scratch appeared across his chest, and he was violently smashed onto the ground amidst a shower of dry leaves and singed earth. "Bang!"
He scrambled back up, tasting dust and the coppery tang of his own blood.
When he looked up at the crow, he saw its eye glowing brighter, into a mocking expression.
Vahn was infuriated, but also learned a hard lesson.
He had overestimated his initial analysis and underestimated the beast's inherent speed.
"How do I defeat it, Lilith? This damn bird moves like lightning!" Vahn cursed under his breath.
Lilith didn't respond. She leaned on a big rock boulder, watching everything with keen interest.
Vahn sighed.
Next, ignoring the sting of his wounds, Vahn forced himself to focus. The experience he'd gained from the Sabermaster finally kicked in. He stopped trying to meet the Crow's speed directly and began anticipating its momentum. He used his peripheral vision, focusing on the wind currents stirred by its wings and the angles of its three-legged landings.
He realized the Crow's movement was explosive but predictable in its short-burst patterns.
Vahn quickly started to gain momentum of its movement. He was moving less, making smaller adjustments, and letting the Crow's aggressive energy work against itself.
The Crow launched another, faster dash, aiming for his head. Vahn ducked low, letting the wind from its wings rush past, and counter-slashed low with the Hellbringer Saber. He didn't just want to rely on Arts, but he needed more raw cutting power than simple Spirit Energy channeling could provide.
He briefly injected Spirit Energy directly into the Saint-grade Saber to test its power..
The effect was instantaneous and shocking.
Bzzzz!
The black blade didn't just glow; it seemed to inhale the energy, buzzing with a terrifying ferocity.
Vahn felt a sudden, massive drain from his Dantian. The Hellbringer Saber was sucking up his Spirit Energy greedily, demanding power worthy of its Saint-grade status just to activate its intrinsic cutting edge.
It was then Vahn understood Lilith's warning.
The Hellbringer Saber gave excellent power, but it came with a staggering cost. Using it carelessly would drain him completely in minutes.
But Vahn was a fast learner. Using the same focus he used for his Lightning Art, he quickly learned to control the energy flow, throttling the consumption down to a sustainable trickle, channeling just enough power to make the blade's edge hyper-efficient.
The enhanced blade was now sharper than a razor and stronger than tungsten.
The Fire Crow was mid-pounce when Vahn's controlled strike connected. There was no boom, no crackle.
Just a silent, clean, and effortless strike.
Vahn's black saber cut through the Crow's neck faster than the beast could open its beak to breathe fire. The bird's head separated from its body in a quiet flash of black steel, and the body crumpled to the ground, the golden feathers instantly losing their glow as the life essence drained away.

MY SEVEN WIVES ARE BEAUTIFUL SAINTESSESC56: Deepening Bond
Chapter 56: Chapter 56: Deepening Bond
Vahn looked at Hellbringer Saber and swallowed hard. A Saint Grade was really Strong.
His own chest was scratched, but his saber was clean. He had won using barely a tenth of the Spirit Energy he'd wasted on the first beast.
Lilith approached the carcass, her veiled head shaking slightly.
"You were overconfident," she stated, "and you almost paid for it. However, you adjusted quickly and learned the temper of your weapon mid-fight. That is a trait of a true warrior."
She looked at the Hellbringer Saber, now dormant and simply black. "You see now? A Saint-grade weapon does not forgive inefficiency. But when mastered, it requires only a fraction of your effort to achieve utter destruction. Clean kill. Excellent resource management."
Vahn grinned, a tired but triumphant look in his eyes. He got his praise, albeit wrapped in a fresh criticism.
"Thank you, Instructor," he said, sheathing the Hellbringer.
He then looked over her head to check their Bonding Status.
Emotional Connection: 3.5% (↑1%)
Physical Connection: 0.5% (0.04%)
"Hum, her emotional connection rose by a whole 1%. But why didn't it trigger any rewards?" he grumbled inwardly
But soon, he realized the rewards likely only came with major milestones, not incremental changes.
"Looks like I need to take it to the next level if I want to conquer her heart and body and get those juicy rewards." He grinned evilly, his mind already spinning with cunning, flirtatious plans to melt her cold heart.
Vahn's training continued relentlessly for the next two hours. He faced several more Mortal and Earth Rank Beasts, steadily internalizing Lilith's lesson. With each clash, his experience soared, and his energy control increased further.
He learned to kill swiftly, relying on the refined cutting power of the Hellbringer Saber and his superior Agility rather than costly elemental Arts. The Saint-grade weapon, once a hungry burden, now felt like a perfectly balanced extension of his will, consuming only the bare minimum of Spirit Energy required for each flawless strike.
Soon, the Starless Forest lived up to its name. The oppressive, dark canopy swallowed the last vestiges of daylight, plunging the woods into a deep, velvety gloom.
Lilith led them to a small, protected clearing where Vahn quickly erected a simple, makeshift tent.
As darkness settled, Vahn, ignoring Lilith's silent assessment, set about preparing their meal.
He pulled a generous cut of meat from a recent kill and recalled his Divine culinary abilities.
A moment later, a plume of rich, savory smoke, utterly unlike the usual scent of woodsmoke and decay, began to waft through the clearing. The aroma was complex and profound, a captivating blend of spices and perfectly rendered fat.
"Hey Lilith, do you want some?" he asked, looking at her back.
Lilith, who had been standing guard with her back to him, maintained her cold, emotionless posture.
"I do not require human food, Vahn. My cultivation provides sustenance. So do not waste your effort," she stated, her voice as flat as steel.
But as the Delicious Aroma of the expertly prepared, sizzling meat reached her, her head subtly tilted. She remained motionless for another moment, fighting an internal battle, before finally letting out an almost inaudible sigh of concession.
"This smell... is so distracting," she conceded, turning slightly. She then stepped closer to the small fire and the meal Vahn had laid out.
"Fine. Since you insist, I will try some to appreciate your effort."
Saying that, Lilith took a piece of the perfectly cooked meat.
Vahn found her tsundure personality quite adorable. He watched with anticipation as she brought it to her veiled lips, wondering if she would even remove the shadow to eat once.
She didn't. The shadowy veil simply receded momentarily around her mouth, and she took a bite.
As soon she did, her expression instantly changed. The cold calculation melted away, replaced by an unmistakable look of pure enjoyment. Her lips, the only part visible, parted slightly, and her movements became less stiff, entirely focused on savoring the complex flavors.
She ate steadily, unconsciously letting the true, unguarded emotion of pleasure wash over her whole body, something Vahn had never witnessed before.
He smiled softly, feeling a genuine warmth that had nothing to do with cultivation. He didn't interrupt, simply enjoying the sight of the ruthless Saintess of Darkness being conquered by a good meal.
It was only when she looked up and caught Vahn seeing her eating with such unmasked delight that she snapped back to awareness.
A dark red blush instantly spread across the upper portion of her veiled face, visible even through the shadows. It was a reaction of acute embarrassment and vulnerability.
She quickly finished the bite.
"It is merely adequate," she lied instantly, her voice sharp and attempting to reclaim its authority. "You are easily distracted by frivolous things, Vahn. Focus on your training, or you will be devoured by the creatures in this forest, regardless of the quality of your cooking."
With that sharp remark, she instantly continued to act as emotionless as before, turning her back to him and standing guard.
But something clearly changed. The stiffness was forced, and the silence now held a new, fragile layer of shared, private acknowledgment. The cold fortress of her heart had a tiny new breach.
Vahn chuckled quietly, picking up his own portion. He didn't press the issue. He had seen enough.
Emotional Connection: 10.0% (↑6.5%)
[ Rewards Gained: Darkness Affinity +100%, Curse Monarch's Halo ]
[ Curse Monarch's Halo: No curse in existence shall harm the blessed one ]
Vahn's lips curled with satisfaction. His hard work had paid off.
"With the Curse Monarch's Halo, no curse can harm me.." he muttered inwardly, feeling an extra layer of security.
Moreover, he was getting a step closer to her heart.
Still, this wasn't enough.
He had a long night ahead, and a cunning plan to hatch.
--
Vahn finished his meal, the warmth and energy of the divine cooking settling his core. He then turned his full attention to Lilith, who was standing rigid guard, fighting hard to maintain her detached façade.
He didn't choose to rest or flirt; he chose to focus on the next level of training.
"Instructor," Vahn began, his voice serious. "I need an advantage for the packs of Venomous Earthworms waiting for us. Speed and a sharp blade are not enough against coordinated attacks, I need to know where they are before they strike."
He took a respectful step closer. "My current perception is based on my basic physical senses. If you want me to be strong enough to challenge your mother's system, I need your help to develop my Spirit Sense rapidly."
Vahn then made his bold request, tapping into the newly established trust between them.
"I am asking for your direct assistance. The fastest way for me to learn the true use of Spirit Sense is to experience someone's who had already developed theirs. For example: You. I need you to share your Spirit Sense with me."
Lilith stood motionless even after hearing his sincere request. Her powerful, Saint-level Spirit Sense was a vast, sprawling ocean compared to Vahn's empty pond. Sharing it would grant him an immense, instantaneous insight into combat awareness.
"That is impossible," Lilith stated, the finality in her tone wavering only slightly.
"Impossible, or uncomfortable?" Vahn countered gently. "I am aware that to share a deep, fundamental aspect of one's technique like that, we would have to establish a physical connection. Our cores must be aligned, and our auras intertwined."
Hearing his shameless words, Lilith became visibly tense. The interaction with Vahn was slowly dragging her into unknown territory.
And she couldn't tell whether that was going to end in something good—or something disastrous.

MY SEVEN WIVES ARE BEAUTIFUL SAINTESSESC57: Creating Spirit Sense
Chapter 57: Chapter 57: Creating Spirit Sense
She had willingly shared a deep emotional connection with him when she revealed her true form, but sharing physical space and raw spiritual intimacy was different.
On the contrary, Vahn was laughing evily inside. Against such a cold heart beauty, regular flirtatious tactics wouldn't work. He intends to push her to the extreme, and break her internal ice in a devastating blow.
Their physical connection is just: 0.05%... It was a negligible percentage. But if they connected physically for this purpose, that number would surely spike tremendously.
Not to forget, he would get excellent rewards again.
However, Lilith hesitated asher internal turmoil immense. It wasn't pride in her physical form that gave her this hesitation. It was the exact opposite. After his recent incredible achievements, like his unparalleled potential, sharp mind and his clear, ambitious destiny, she felt a crippling wave of inferiority.
How could she, the accursed daughter, the hideously ugly monster that he had only just tolerated, allow him to touch her willingly?
She felt unpure and unworthy. If he gets repulsed now, after his kindness earlier, she gears the fragile bridge of trust between would shatter in an instance.
"I... I cannot," Lilith finally managed, the usual steel in her voice momentarily cracking. "It is unnecessary. You can practice meditation alone."
But she didn't know how persistent Vahn could be.
His reply was sincere and insistent:
"Lilith, I saw your true form and I chose you from the bottom of my heart. You saw my raw ambition and you chose me. You are my instructor and my ally. If you hold back vital training because of a self-imposed barrier, then you doubt my resolve, or you doubt your own worthiness."
He extended his right hand palm toward her veiled figure.
"I need your strength to become strong enough for us both. Do you trust me to look past a shadow? Or does the Saintess of Darkness fear a little closeness?"
Lilith was visibly taken a back by Vahn's direct challenge. Her eyes, hidden behind the shadows of the veil, seemed to burn with a sudden, fierce heat.
"Fear closeness?" she repeated, her voice low and dangerously smooth, instantly regaining the icy composure she'd momentarily lost.
She felt triggered, not by the idea of physical intimacy, but by the suggestion that the Saintess of Darkness (a being whose power dictated fate) could be ruled by something as petty as fear.
Step!
She took one measured step toward him, then another, until she stood directly behind Vahn. She ignored the extended hand and opted for the most direct, and arguably most intimate, method of connecting their spiritual cores.
Vahn, surprised, felt a sudden heavy warmth against his back.
"L-Lilith?" he muttered in astonishment.
Lilith had pressed herself close to his back like glue in an intimate, hugging manner.
The contact was total chaos: her entire frontal body was pressed against his back.
Vahn's heartbeat faster like one of a Virgin. He felt the soft, yielding pressure of her breasts on his back and instantly felt as if he was on cloud nine. The surge of desire and triumph was almost overwhelming, like a potent cocktail of successful manipulation and genuine physical arousal.
Lilith, though, appeared to ignore the weird, electric sensation of their bodies melding. Her focus was entirely on the task and reclaiming her cold authority.
She brought her two hands up and gently placed them on either side of Vahn's head.
"Don't move," she commanded, her voice right next to his ear, sending a shiver down his spine that had nothing to do with fear.
A moment later, a terrifyingly vast, cold, and ancient energy rushed into Vahn's mind.
Their physical connection was now absolute, their cores aligning to exchange the spiritual energy. Vahn felt the negligible 0.05% Physical Connection counter in his mind spike violently.
DING!
[ Your Physical Connection with Lilith Moonveil Increased by 30%. Major Milestone Achieved. ]
[ Rewards Gained: Darkness Affinity +200%, Dream Manipulation Art (Heaven) ]
> Dive into Dream realm, reshape realities. Requirement: Strong Spirit Sense.
-
Vahn barely registered the influx of such great rewards.
He was instantly overwhelmed by Lilith's Spirit Sense.
It wasn't just a sense; it was a boundless flood of awareness.
In just a fraction of a second, the dark, oppressive Starless Forest was no longer a gloomy prison. It transformed into a perfectly rendered, three-dimensional blueprint in his mind.
He could feel the slow decay of the root system beneath his feet. The faintest vibrations of insects crawling miles away. The rhythmic flow of his own blood. And most critically, the silent, coordinated movement of the Venomous Earthworms underneath from miles away.
He didn't just sense them; he saw them vividly.
Then, Lilith's voice echoed directly in his mind, clear and cold, overriding his thoughts.
"This is the true power of Spirit Sense, Vahn. This is how the strong see the world. Your mind is the core, your Spirit Sense is the map. Do you see Earthworms?"
Vahn couldn't respond immediately. He gasped as the sheer volume of information almost painful, yet deeply exhilarating. He didn't need his eyes anymore. He could precisely track every Venomous Earthworms around them.
"Yes," Vahn replied back, a powerful response channeled through their direct spiritual link. "I see them all. They're closing in three groups, the north, east, and southwest."
"Good," Lilith's consciousness replied, a faint, almost imperceptible note of pride mixed into the cold thread of her Spirit Sense.
"Now, keep that vision activated and try to comprehend it. In due time, you will be able to create your own Spirit Sense. This shouldn't be so difficult for you."
And yet, Vahn was having a hard time concentrating. The soft perky fleshbags behind him was getting him distracted.
His mind was a storm of chaos. Sometimes he wondered how good it would be to hold them with his own hand. Sometimes he compared their size to Seraphina's.
But at one point thinking it was enough, he bit his lips until they bled and focused completely. Since she was giving her all, It's his duty not to waste this chance.
Yes, he was perverted. But even he had his limits and morals. A nice little pervert.

MY SEVEN WIVES ARE BEAUTIFUL SAINTESSESC58: Unexpected Encounter
Chapter 58: Chapter 58: Unexpected Encounter
Vahn kept his focus as the physical discomfort and mental distraction were fought down by the sharp, metallic taste of his own blood.
For the rest of the night, he and Lilith were locked in that intimate spiritual embrace.
Lilith's vast consciousness acted as a spiritual guidance, constantly pouring data into Vahn's mind, forcing his fledgling Spirit Sense to expand and categorize the overwhelming volume of information.
Under this intense, focused pressure, Vahn didn't just passively absorb; he actively worked as well.
He rapidly comprehended the technique.
As the cold hours of the night dragged on, Vahn's head throbbed, but his chaotic thoughts calmed down.
The initial shock of the saintess's closeness faded into an accepted, background state.
Lilith's intent was purely instructive, but the shared meal, danger, and now this profound spiritual fusion were slowly chipping away at her defense.
Soon, Dawn arrived.
The first light of morning began to struggle through the dense canopy of the Starless Forest.
It wasn't the sun Vahn sensed first, but the change in the forest's energetic signature as the nocturnal beasts retreated and the daylight ones began to stir.
It was in this moment of transitional energy that Vahn felt a small, fundamental shift deep within his spiritual core.
The residual memory of Lilith's Spirit sense didn't just fade; it coalesced.
Vahn felt a pop in his mind. It was a sensation akin to a door opening where there had only been a wall.
A new, independent sphere of awareness awakened forth from his soul. He finally awakened his Spirit Sense.
Lilith instantly recognized the moment of awakening. She then, finally, gently, separated from Vahn's back.
Vahn stumbled slightly, not from fatigue, but from the sudden, contrasting loss of her presence.
But he quickly steadied himself, focusing on the new extraordinary sensation. He couldn't make a mistake at such a critical moment.
He closed his eyes and pushed his spiritual energy outward.
However, instead of the boundless ocean of awareness he'd shared with Lilith, he now commanded a small, perfect sphere of Spirit Sense.
It was a crystal-clear awareness that extended only 10 meters in all directions around him.
But, within that 10-meter diameter, he saw everything: the texture of the moss on the nearest tree, the exact location of a beetle digging into the dirt, and the flow of air currents.
The range was pitiful compared to Lilith's, who easily possessed a range of tens of miles, but it was entirely his. That's a significant achievement.
"Ten meters," Vahn informed with a sigh. "It's really small."
Lilith wanted to roll her eyes.
"Be content, you fool. It is just a foundation," she corrected, though her tone held more emotion to it.
"Most cultivators at your level struggle to achieve even one meter within a month of tireless dedication. And yet, you achieved 10 meters in just one night. That's something you should be proud about."
"Do not compare your beginning to my mastery. At least, you now have the necessary spirit sense to survive Earth Rank packs on your own."
She turned, pointing her finger deeper into the mist-shrouded forest.
"We shall continue now," she commanded. "Use that Spirit Sense. Keep it active. Make it your habit. The next few hours will be dedicated to traversing without being detected. Let us see if your Spirit Sense is as sharp as your blade."
Vahn nodded, dedicating himself entirely to the movement exercise. He pressed the Spirit Sense outward, using it to navigate the treacherous forest floor with unerring precision.
He glided silently past razor-sharp vines and over hidden root systems.
For the next few hours, he moved like a phantom, Lilith matching his pace effortlessly. His spiritual acuity grew stronger with use, becoming less a conscious effort and more a natural, ambient sense.
Just as the sun climbed higher, breaking the gloom with bright light, Vahn's expanded Spirit Sense detected something new.
It was not a beast, but the clear, distinct signatures of humans.
"Stop," Vahn whispered, raising a hand.
Lilith stopped instantly, "What is it?"
She didn't bother to use her own Spirit Sense.
"There arehumans,"" Vahn reported, focusing his awareness through a dense patch of foliage.
"Several figures, highly active. They are engaged in fierce combat."
They moved silently to the edge of the foliage. Peering through the leaves, Vahn and Lilith saw an open clearing where a desperate battle was unfolding.
A group of sevencultivators,, displayinga decent level ofl cultivation, were locked in a deadly struggle against a massive, towering creature.
"It's a Rock Giant, a Sky Level Beast," Lilith informed.
Vahn nodded, his expression turning grim. He also heard about these terrifying Spirit Beasts before. In the past, while aiding the hunters, he had the opportunity to see them in person.
He and the village hunters practically ran for their lives.
The current one was no less scary than that. It was approximately 10 meters tall, like a walking disaster.
The very ground shook with every clumsy step the giant took.
Vahn decided to ignore them. Intervening in their battle would just be a waste of time after all.
"Let's go, Instructor. This is not our fight," Vahn murmured.
But just as they prepared to slip away, the scene changed.
"GRRR..."
The Rock Giant let out a frustrated roar, shattering a nearby boulder. "Boom!"
The loud sound momentarily stunned the combatants.
In that brief pause, one of the warriors, a striking red-haired young man with a sharp gaze and an air of noble bearing, turned his head toward Vahn and Lilith.
His sharp gaze pierced through the foliage and locked directly onto the duo.
The young man was initially disinterested in the couple as they were already busy dealing with the rock giant..
But all of a sudden, his expression instantly twisted into one of pure, ferocious rage.
He didn't just see Vahn; he recognized him.
"Vahn Woodinson!" The young man bellowed with shock, hatred, and disbelief, momentarily forgetting the monster crushing the ground beside him.
"You bastard! You dare show your face here!"
Vahn blinked, utterly dumbfounded. He glanced at Lilith, who remained an unmoving shadow.
"What in the world? Does he even know me? And even if he does, why is he so mad at me? I don't recall ever making such a foe."
Lilith just crossed her arms and said, "Sometimes, we don't choose our enemies, Vahn Necrotis. They simply exist because of the simple choices we make in our life. Whether those choices are good or bad, it doesn't matter. But a true warrior must be able to solve their own problems. As such, I will not help you."

MY SEVEN WIVES ARE BEAUTIFUL SAINTESSESC59: Killing Humans For The First Time
Chapter 59: Chapter 59: Killing Humans For The First Time
Ignoring the angry face of the red-haired young man before him, Vahn asked calmly, "Do I know you?"
The red-haired young man felt another blow.
"Y-you, how can you forget... You're the one who made me a laughing stock at the Holy Ascension Stairway in White Lotus Sanctuary. Because of you, I was rejected to become an Outer Court disciple despite crossing 50 Steps...
Only Because of You!"
He shouted the last part and charged forward with the momentum of a leopard toward Vahn.
Clang!
Vahn met the nobleman's furious sword attack head-on with his Hellbringer Saber. The sound of the Saint-grade black steel meeting the nobleman's Sky-level weapon was sharp and resounding. The impact alone sent a tremor up the young man's arm, momentarily shocking the rage out of him.
Only then did Vahn truly recall the incident: the spoiled red-haired young man who had tried to push him off the Holy Ascension Stairway and received a sound thrashing for his efforts. The memory of the petty attempt to cheat brought a dark amusement to Vahn.
Remembering that incident, Vahn's lips curved into an evil smile.
He didn't wait for the follow-up. While the young man was reeling from the saber impact, Vahn delivered a sharp, concentrated kick straight to the nobleman's chest.
Bam!
The force was enough to send the youth stumbling back several feet.
"You're so foolish and weak," Vahn said with calm contempt, keeping his voice low enough not to alert the distant Rock Giant. "You were rejected because of your petty nature, not me. How can you blame a higher destiny for your own lack of character?"
The young man, fueled by humiliation rather than strength, surprisingly stood up as if nothing had happened, though a clear, dark footprint was visible on his chest plate. He glared at Vahn, his breathing ragged.
He glanced at his own men. The other six cultivators had indeed ceased fighting the Rock Giant and were now watching their humiliated Young Master with baffled eyes.
Such a humiliation, his face was completely lost before his slaves and cohorts.
"How dare you! I will kill you!"
The nobleman screamed the vow and charged again, a visible, blazing fire erupting from his sword. This time, he channeled his full elemental power, turning the attack into a desperate, fiery slash.
But Vahn was no longer a newbie. He newfound Spirit Sense granted him perfect awareness.
He ducked low, his agility allowing him to effortlessly dodge the wide, slow Fire Slash. Then, with the instinct of a seasoned killer, he thrust his Hellbringer Saber straight toward the young man's stomach.
He was momentarily hesitant to kill a human so early in his journey, but that brief thought vanished immediately.
When his life was on the line, why would he show mercy, especially to an irrational, enraged Qi Refining idiot who had abandoned an ongoing battle just to attack him.
He would kill. He will survive.
SCHLKK
The Hellbringer Saber, guided by Vahn's Spiritual Sense and demanding only the slightest trickle of Spirit Energy for its edge, passed through the Sky-level armor and flesh with horrifying ease.
It was swift, silent, and decisive.
The red-haired young man froze mid-charge, his fiery sword clattering to the ground as his eyes went wide with shock and disbelief. He looked down at the point where the black blade had entered him, a dark red stain blossoming instantly around the wound. The fire blazing on his body immediately sputtered out.
Vahn didn't yank the blade out; he merely pushed the wounded boy backward one final time, breaking contact cleanly.
The young man stumbled, falling silently onto the muddy forest floor. His life force was dissipating rapidly.
Vahn immediately turned around, his Hellbringer Saber clean and ready. The entire encounter had lasted mere seconds, but it had irrevocably shattered the silence of the forest.
The six remaining cultivators stood frozen in shock, staring from the prone body of their young master to Vahn's menacing, shadowed figure.
"Y-young Master is dead!"
"Quick. Catch him! Don't let them escape! Otherwise, Master Dalian will kill us all!"
Grrrrr!
The Rock Giant, momentarily forgotten, let out a confused, shaking roar, now looking at the entire group as potential targets.
Lilith, who was still standing like a statue behind him, transmitted a sharp warning directly into Vahn's mind:
"The death of their leader will either unify them against you or the Rock will cause them to flee. Make your next move definitive, Vahn."
Vahn, coming out of his momentary guilt over the kill, acknowledged Lilith's internal warning with a tight nod. He already had a cunning plan hatched, one that leveraged both the forest's chaos and his powerful Arts.
He obviously couldn't afford to fight six Sky Level cultivators and a Rock Giant alone. He had to turn the enemies against each other.
The six cultivators were still frozen, staring at their dead young master, their emotions swinging wildly between shock, fear, and desire for revenge. The massive Rock Giant, tired of the inactivity, was letting loose a confused, earth-shaking roar.
Vahn channeled a small but concentrated amount of Spirit energy into his Hellbringer Saber. He didn't activate the full, devastating power of the Destruction Sword, which would consume too much Internal energy.
Instead, he channeled just enough lightning energy to create a highly visible, provocative flash.
Crackle!
He launched a quick, short-range bolt of Lightning Destruction Sword not at the Giant, but directly at the Giant's foot. The strike was designed to be annoying and attention-grabbing, not destructive.
Boom!
The Rock Giant, already aggravated by the prolonged skirmish, felt the sharp, destructive electrical attack. Its colossal, stone head swiveled, ignoring the smaller, stationary cultivators. Its focus was now solely on the source of the sudden, sharp pain: Vahn.
Vahn didn't wait for it attack. He flashed a triumphant, malicious grin at the six terrified cultivators who were now facing both a rogue Giant and a deadly assailant.
"Enjoy the show!" Vahn shouted, then, utilizing his boosted Agility and his ten-meter Spirit Sense to navigate the uneven terrain flawlessly, he disappeared into the woods alongside Lilith, melting instantly into the shadowy gloom.
--
"GRRRR!!
The diversion worked perfectly. The Rock Giant was immediately enraged. It entered a terrifying, primal Rage Mode, letting out a guttural, ground-shattering bellow.
It lunged at the nearest moving targets: the six remaining cultivators.
The cultivators, panicking, abandoned all formation. Their focus shifted instantly from vengeance to desperate survival. They scattered, trying to fight and flee simultaneously. It was a futile effort.
"NOOO! LET ME LIVE!
"SPARE—!"
Their desperate pleas and screams were useless.
One by one, the Rock Giant caught them.
"Bam!" A crushing fist turned one into a smear of blood and bone against a tree. A wide, sweeping arm strike knocked two others into the air, where they were instantly squashed upon landing.
Vahn and Lilith watched from the darkness, positioned perfectly to observe the unfolding massacre. Vahn was quietly enjoying the show, feeling the brutal satisfaction of seeing his enemies justly destroyed without expending any further effort.
"You're more evil than I thought," Lilith suddenly said with dark amusement in her tone. "I think we will have an interesting relationship ahead."
"Haha, you really think so? Then I'll be eagerly waiting for that day as well."

MY SEVEN WIVES ARE BEAUTIFUL SAINTESSESC60: Battling Sky-Level Beast
Chapter 60: Chapter 60: Battling Sky-Level Beast
The rampage ended quickly.
But the victorious Rock was still roaring with rage, looking around the now-silent clearing.
Soon, It spotted the movement of Vahn's Spirit Sense as even a faint human aura was now an insult to its primal fury.
The Rock Giant turned its attention, its massive, glowing eyes locking directly onto their hidden position.
Lilith, sensing the Sky Level beast's singular focus, stepped forward, her shadow-veiled figure remaining perfectly calm.
"Vahn, the Rock Giant is a Sky Level Beast, far stronger than you currently are now. But its movements are simple, and its mind is dull. This is your final lesson before we exit this territory."
She gestured toward the colossal, menacing figure. "Fight it alone. You must learn to face a superior threat and use your mind, not just your blade. Do not disappoint me."
Vahn felt the cold gravity of the command. A true Sky Level beast was a massive leap from an Earth Rank pack. His life was now genuinely on the line.
Yet, as he faced the towering mass of stone and fury, Vahn didn't feel the paralyzing grip of fear anymore. Instead, an aura of determined warrior radiated from him
He accepted the challenge without hesitation.
Lilith's cold heart, despite her best efforts, shook once again. She wasn't seeing a fool charging to his death; she was seeing a man whose will was rapidly approaching the terrifying level required to challenge the world itself.
Holding the Hellbringer Saber, Vahn didn't hesitate. He knew that matching a Sky Level Beast with mere martial skill or energy conservation was suicide. This was a forced final exam, and the only way to pass was with a calculated, overwhelming display of power.
He invoked his most powerful Art at once.
"Nine Heavens Lightning Swords: Destruction Sword!"
The black blade of his Hellbringer Saber instantly crackled with crackling blue lightning. The electrical discharge was far denser and more vibrant than when channeled through his old Earth-grade weapon, testament to the Saint-grade saber's superior conduction.
Holding the Saber in his right hand, Vahn felt the destructive power gathering within, pulling deeply from his recently enhanced Mana reserves. He didn't just use the Sword Art; he also poured vast amounts of Spirit Energy into the Saint Weapon for maximum power, accepting the massive drain. Against such a towering giant, holding back wasn't an option.
His eyes, reflecting the destructive blue lightning, fixed onto the Rock Giant as it rolled toward him like a spinning armadillo, shaking the very ground beneath them.
Its approach was devastating, like an avalanche of stone and fury.
"Destroy!"
Vahn's roar came as a low rumble of pure intent. He didn't charge. He held the Saber like a harpoon, aimed carefully at the Rock Giant's rough stone torso, then threw it toward the beast like a javelin.
Buzzz!!
The very air ahead of the Hellbringer screamed. The terrifying speed and the destructive lightning force annihilated air particles in its path, leaving a visible, crackling streak of blue energy slicing through the clearing.
The Rock Giant, simple-minded and focused only on crushing its target, didn't bother to defend against the projectile. It assumed the tiny, flying object would simply shatter against its natural stone armor.
However, It was catastrophically wrong.
The Hellbringer Saber, super-charged by Vahn's Destruction Sword Art and amplified by the Saint-grade's cutting affinity, struck the Rock Giant squarely in the chest, right where its core was located.
BOOOOM!
The impact was not just physical; it was an explosive confluence of contradictory energies. The Heavenly Lightning, which possessed the elemental property of ultimate destruction, met the pure Earth element of the Rock Giant.
The resulting explosion dwarfed the earlier demise of the Fire Crow. A blinding sphere of blue and white light erupted, followed by a shockwave that flattened nearby trees and sent chunks of shrapnel and stone flying across the clearing.
The Rock Giant stopped rolling. Its torso, where the Hellbringer had lodged itself, cracked open as if struck by a lightning bolt from the heavens. Massive fissures spiderwebbed across its entire body.
Its large frame groaned, and then, with a slow, agonizing slide, the top half of the Giant toppled over, sending a small dust cloud into the sky. The lower half, its core destroyed, crumbled into a lifeless pile of mundane stones.
"???"
Vahn stood there, momentarily stunned. He had just defeated a Sky-level beast, which was equal to a Foundation Establishment cultivator.
His true combat prowess had soared so much.
Even Lilith, stepping out of the shadows, raised a silent, shadowed eyebrow of surprise. She hadn't expected him to take down the Rock Giant in a single strike at all. She was genuinely impressed.
As Vahn picked up the Hellbringer Saber, Lilith pointed toward a spot amidst the rocky debris.
There, glowing faintly green against the gray stone, was a perfectly round object.
"Pick up the Beast Core," she instructed. "It's valuable. A Sky-level core. You can easily sell it in the market for 1,000 spirit stones."
Vahn did as she told. Even though he had accumulated more than 200,000 spirit stones from the auction sale, he knew they were never going to be enough for his future needs, especially for his Void Refining Physique.
Afterward, they quickly left the conflict scene.
The red-haired young man's lifeless corpse and the smashed bodies of his companions were scattered like a mangled mess.
It was a grim truth as how cruel this World can be.
However, just half an hour after their departure, the silence of the scorched clearing was shattered again.
HUMM!
A powerful presence sliced through the western sky. A nobleman with the same striking red hair as the corpse of the young man, Damien, descended in a flare of crimson energy.
He was a man of terrifying stature, clearly radiating the power of a high-level Golden Core cultivator, or perhaps even higher.
"WHO...??"
The nobleman let out a bellow of rage that shook the remaining tree canopies as soon as his eyes fell upon the lifeless body of his son, Damien.
"Who is it? Who dared to kill my son?
It was a roar of utter devastation and fury.
Furious, he immediately unleashed his Spirit Sense, extending it for hundreds of meters in every direction, scouring the terrain for any trace of the attackers. He quickly found the faint, residual auras of Vahn and Lilith, coupled with the distinct energy signature of the Lightning Art that had killed the Rock Giant.
After putting the corpse inside his Space Ring, he didn't hesitate a moment longer.
Identifying the faint trail of the culprits, he started following them like an Infernal Storm.
"Whoosh..."
This man was the Patriarch of Infernal Clan from Fire Cloud City. He was a figure known to show no mercy, and his current rage promised a brutal vengeance for his son's death.
