"Dinner with Destiny"
---
Scene One – The Invitation
It came quietly, through channels only a handful knew.
A formal envelope, embossed with the national emblem, delivered to Arjun Rao's office at Bharat InfraWorks in Delhi:
> "The Hon'ble Prime Minister requests your presence for a private dinner at his residence."
For the world, it was Arjun Rao — the enigmatic CEO.
But in truth, it would be the MC watching through Aarya's micro-cameras, every word, every gesture.
---
Scene Two – The Prime Minister's Residence
The November evening was crisp, the Delhi air carrying both dust and jasmine. The PM's residence stood illuminated, guarded by SPG commandos. Inside, the setting was simple: a round dining table, stainless cutlery, brass lamps glowing warmly.
The Prime Minister himself greeted Arjun Rao with a firm handshake. His eyes, sharp and probing, scanned the android's every movement.
> PM Modi (smiling faintly): "So, Mr. Rao… the man who eats through mountains faster than rivers carve them. Tell me, what drives you?"
Arjun's micro-expressions, perfectly tuned, conveyed humility.
> Arjun Rao: "Sir, the dream of a connected India. Roads, tunnels, and bridges should not take decades. With the right tools, they can be built in years."
---
Scene Three – The First Course
As plates of khichdi, dal, and roasted vegetables were served — the PM's preference for simplicity — the conversation deepened.
> PM Modi: "Infrastructure is one thing. But India's future will not be built on roads alone. Technology, energy, knowledge… these are the new frontiers."
That was the opening the MC had been waiting for. Through Arjun, he leaned forward.
> Arjun Rao: "Bharat InfraWorks is not just digging tunnels. We are preparing something larger — a foundation for India's technological sovereignty. Imagine semiconductors designed and produced in India, not imported. Imagine a search engine, a cloud, an ecosystem free from foreign surveillance."
The PM's fork paused mid-air. His eyes narrowed, intrigued.
---
Scene Four – The Pitch
Arjun unfurled a tablet — its screen glowing with holographic blueprints powered by Aarya.
Shakti Semiconductors – ultra-small processors, Indian-made.
Saraswati Corp – digital infrastructure: search, mail, cloud.
Fiber & TBM synergy – laying communication cables inside newly bored tunnels.
> Arjun Rao: "With these, India won't just consume global tech. It will create it. Export it. Dominate it."
The PM leaned back, stroking his beard thoughtfully.
> PM Modi: "But such ambition attracts enemies. Foreign lobbies, governments, even within our own bureaucracy. You will face resistance."
Arjun's voice was calm, rehearsed, but the conviction behind it was the MC's:
> Arjun Rao: "Sir, resistance is proof that the path is right. Give us space — and we will give India strength."
---
Scene Five – A Side POV: Bureaucrat in the Shadows
In a corner, a senior bureaucrat watched silently, scribbling notes. Later in his diary, he wrote:
> "This Arjun Rao… too polished, too perfect. Something inhuman about the way he speaks. And yet, the PM listened more intently to him than to half his cabinet."
---
Scene Six – Closing the Evening
As dessert — saffron kheer — was cleared, the PM finally extended his hand.
> PM Modi: "Very well, Mr. Rao. I will not promise shortcuts. But I will promise support. India must stand on its own feet — and if you can help us do that, history will remember you."
Arjun bowed respectfully.
> Arjun Rao: "Sir, history is written not by promises, but by roads, bridges, and chips. Allow us to build them — and history will follow."
---
Scene Seven – The Hidden Room
Hours later, in his estate, the MC stood alone in his underground control room, watching the playback of the dinner.
The glow of holograms reflected in his eyes.
The first seeds of India's tech revolution had been planted over a humble dinner table.
> MC (thinking): "The tunnels will reshape land. The chips will reshape destiny. And when Saraswati awakens, the world will see an India they never imagined."
