Chapter 3 - Chapter 3: The Uchiha Incident Origin

Looking back on it, that incident was entirely Mikoto Uchiha's doing. She had originally promised her mother to take care of her younger brother, but due to her own recklessness, she left him alone while he slept and went out to play with several close female friends.

Unexpectedly, right after waking up, Shiyu Uchiha realized he was completely alone at home. At first, he felt somewhat uneasy being by himself, but not long afterward, he ran wild like a rogue Husky, doing things he'd never dare attempt before.

By the time Mikoto Uchiha returned home, tragedy had already occurred. Overcome with shock, Mikoto Uchiha activated her first tomoe Sharingan. Fortunately, Shiyu Uchiha survived thanks to his transmigration, minimizing her grief. Otherwise, she definitely would have suffered for life.

Moreover, Shiyu Uchiha's mother herself was also a famous figure—she was none other than Naori Uchiha, who quelled the internal conflict known as the Naraka Yomi War within the Uchiha clan. In addition, she was also the younger sister of Kagami Uchiha, The Second Hokage's disciple.

As for the Naraka Yomi War, its root cause was the passing of the Senju brothers, who once suppressed the Uchiha clan.

Furthermore, following the First Great Shinobi War, many members of the Senju clan abandoned their surname and retired from public life, causing the remaining Senju strength to fall far below what it once was. At this point, the Uchiha began craving to reclaim their former glory.

At that time, the most suitable candidate publicly for clan head succession appeared to be Kagami Uchiha, but his actual power fell short. However, the tradition of the Uchiha was that the strongest individual should become clan head.

Additionally, resentment toward the newly appointed Hokage existed. At that time, Hiruzen Sarutobi barely entered Kage-level strength, and only Mito Uzumaki, the first Jinchuriki of the Nine-Tails, inspired great fear. Yet a few Uchiha who had awakened the Mangekyo Sharingan arrogantly believed that Tailed Beasts were nothing more than playthings for those with ocular powers.

They failed to consider how far their ocular power fell short of Madara Uchiha's. Even at his peak, combining the three of them wouldn't equal even one of Madara's eyes. Among these three Uchiha, two elder ones' ocular powers were nearly exhausted, and the vision of the lone younger one had begun deteriorating as well.

Thus, under the organization of several Uchiha elders, plans arose to select a new clan leader to fight for their deserved rights, which triggered intense internal conflicts. However, as the struggle continued and the forbidden technique Izanagi was abused, the situation gradually slipped out of control. Eventually, even Kagami Uchiha perished during this very battle.

The reason this happened was entirely due to Izanagi—the use of this forbidden technique not only resulted in losing one triple-comma Sharingan eye but also carried a fatal flaw: afterward, it stimulated one's spiritual energy, creating an illusion of omnipotence. It became just like when someone like Amaneko first unlocked the Mangekyo Sharingan, thinking he'd let loose a blast of [Amaterasu] at every passing dog.

Complicating matters further, with the Mangekyo nearing blindness, all spare eyes stored within the clan had been taken by Madara Uchiha. Thus, the Eye Reclamation Campaign began.

Kagami Uchiha's high-quality triple-comma Sharingan eyes were seized by those two whose own ocular energies were nearly depleted. Then they went into hiding to transplant their eyes. Unlike Madara Uchiha, they lacked the ability to activate and use the eyes instantly after implantation.

This conflict, driven by the abuse of Izanagi, led to the massacre of numerous elite members and severely weakened the Uchiha clan, going against the original intentions of the Uchiha.

Fortunately, the fighting remained restricted to those within the clan who had awakened both the three-tomoe and Mangekyo Sharingan. Thus, the future prospects of the Uchiha remained unaffected.

Just as the conflict was about to escalate further and threaten the entire clan, Uchiha Shizhi, who had been traveling abroad, returned to the village and awakened his Mangekyo Sharingan at his older brother's grave.

Deeply grief-stricken upon witnessing the tragic state of the clan, he uncovered the true nature of the events and used himself as a test subject to refine an incomplete forbidden technique—developed based on Izanagi—which eventually became Izanami. He then killed the two Mangekyo wielders responsible for Uchiha Kagami's death.

He later "persuaded" the last surviving Mangekyo user using Izanami—the man who would eventually become the father of Uchiha Shiyu—and finally brought this war to an end.

Though he preserved the very foundation of the Uchiha clan, he suffered irreversible injuries from the forbidden technique experiments and near-fatal battles. After passing his physical prime, his condition deteriorated rapidly.

Although Uchiha Shizhi ultimately did not become the clan head, he still maintained immense prestige within the Uchiha. This allowed Uchiha Mikoto and Shiyu to attain special status within the clan.

However, the losses from that generation left the Uchiha largely sidelined during the Second Great Ninja War, unable to serve as the main force on the battlefield due to the lack of Kage-level experts capable of commanding major positions. It wasn't until the Third War that they fully recovered their strength, regaining eligibility to compete for the title of Hokage.

But it didn't stop there. The son of Uchiha Kagami—who would later become the father of Uchiha Shisui—named Uchiha Xuan—had been placed under his care after Kagami's sacrifice. However, he never quite got along with Uchiha Shiyu or Mikoto.

That guy was always ranting about the Will of Fire, criticizing how Shiyu and Mikoto only cared about the clan, claiming the clan lacked vision, and even showing disrespect toward Uchiha Shizhi himself. As a result, Mikoto often ended up in heated arguments with him.

He had no clue about the real issues behind the Uchiha's conflict with the village, yet insisted he could fix everything—nothing more than a self-righteous fool. He only saw the surface of things, which drove Shiyu absolutely nuts.

To avoid revealing his inner sharpness or leaking the secret to those four individuals, Shiyu often pretended to be foolish in front of him. Luckily, shortly after this man graduated from the academy—around the time Shiyu's reincarnation occurred—he moved out to live alone, making Shiyu feel like throwing a celebration.

Yet thinking about that man's son—his own great nephew, Uchiha Shisui—Shiyu felt a splitting headache forming. He sensed a long and difficult road still lay ahead.

As for Uchiha Itachi, being his biological nephew, there was no way around it unless one were to separate Mikoto and Fugaku Uchiha—an impossible scenario.

Thinking about this, Shiyu Uchiha found himself genuinely intrigued. Although he hadn't met Fugaku Uchiha yet, he felt that Fugaku wasn't worthy of his sister.

Moreover, Shiyu even suspected that Obito Uchiha might be closely related to him, like that relative who often visited their house—specifically, his mother's younger sister. Shiyu thought she looked very similar to Obito Uchiha.

Especially since this woman also had a very powerful boyfriend whose personality traits seemed passed down directly from Obito Uchiha, though slightly toned down. Shiyu strongly suspected that she might actually be Obito's mother.

Looks like the Uchiha Clan's trio of dunces—the hothead (Shisui Uchiha), the psycho (Itachi Uchiha), and the knucklehead (Obito Uchiha)—were about to reunite real soon. Shiyu felt immense pressure building up inside him.

At this moment, he even experienced a sudden sense of guilt, as if he owed an enormous sin to the Uchiha ancestors.

But this feeling came quickly and vanished even faster—lingering for less than one second before disappearing entirely. After all, he wasn't the same Shiyu Uchiha anymore—not in soul, not in spirit. His ancestors were the Yellow Emperor and Flame Emperor of China (two legendary sovereigns in ancient Chinese mythology), not some extraterrestrial beings.

Last but not least was Amaneko. However, Shiyu thought he was fine overall—he just had a bit of a flashy streak. After all, everyone has a wild youth. Compared to those three guys, Amaneko was practically a model student.

Apart from these well-known figures, most of the people frequently visiting the Uchiha household were currently top elites within the Uchiha Clan. Among them was the father of Inabi and an unknown Senju Uchiha from the original story—Renga Uchiha—as well as Kotetsu Uchiha's father, The Seventh Uchiha, and so on.

There was even someone completely new to Shiyu Uchiha—Setsuna Uchiha, who also happened to be Shizhi Uchiha's cousin. Without that familial connection, he would've already been killed by Tobirama Senju long ago.
