Team Landlord, as Ren called them, left the city of Eridon. The journey to the Silverwood was long, but they were happy. The sun was warm, and the world was big and full of new things to see.
Their life on the road was easy. Lyra was a great guide. Elara made their campsites beautiful and full of life. Ren made sure they always had delicious food from his "magic pouch."
After a week of travel, they came to a town called Greenhaven. But the town was not happy. The people looked sad and scared. The market was quiet.
They soon saw why. A group of mean-looking men were walking through the market. They wore armor with a black iron hand symbol. They were bullies. They kicked over baskets of fruit and laughed. The townspeople were too afraid to say anything.
The bullies, who were part of the Iron Hand Guild, stopped at a small shop owned by an old man. "It's time to pay, old man," the leader said.
"I don't have enough money," the old man said, his voice shaking.
The leader laughed. "Then we will take your toys." His men started to steal the beautiful wooden toys the old man made.
Lyra became very angry. "They are bullies," she said.
Elara was worried. "There are a lot of them," she said.
Ren saw the old man's sad face. He did not like bullies. He also thought this would be a good way to have some fun. He walked towards the bullies with a friendly smile.
"Excuse me, gentlemen," Ren said. The men turned to look at him.
"I think you dropped your manners. Maybe you should go pick them up."
