"You think a bunch of filthy monkeys can challenge me?"
Frost looked at the Saiyans with utter contempt. He might have been wary of them before, but now that he had achieved his Golden Form, he believed he had nothing left to fear. More importantly, he intended to reclaim all the dignity he had lost.
He shot Frieza a vicious glare, but Frieza merely watched the drama unfolding in Universe 6 with great amusement. As far as he was concerned, the situation still wasn't chaotic enough.
"Frost, you still haven't destroyed the Saiyans' planet in Universe 6?" Frieza sneered.
"Ohohoho! How pathetic. You're the Frieza of Universe 6, yet you've allowed the Saiyans' homeworld to continue existing. How disgraceful! I destroyed Planet Vegeta decades ago. Compared to me, you're a complete embarrassment!"
Frieza's voice dripped with provocation. His words shocked the Saiyans from Universe 6. None of them had known that the Saiyans' homeworld in Universe 7 had already been destroyed.
Cabba looked at Trunks in surprise. His instincts told him that, as the representative of Universe 7, Trunks should explain what had happened. Trunks noticed his gaze, and Cabba wasn't the only one, as the other Universe 6 Saiyans also wanted answers.
"I know what you're wondering about," Trunks said. "First, you need to understand the difference between the Saiyans of Universe 7 and those of Universe 6. Most Saiyans in our universe were violent warmongers. Only a very small number of them were good people. They invaded planets, destroyed other people's homes, and behaved no differently from Frost."
"There's also something Uncle Goku once said to Frieza. Frieza asked whether it was right for the Saiyans to have killed so many people in the past, and Uncle Goku answered,
'That's why they were wiped out.' He was right. The Saiyans of that era are gone, and they got what they deserved."
Trunks's gaze was ice-cold, and his words struck the Universe 6 Saiyans like a hammer.
Hearing that exchange brought back Frieza's memories of being defeated by Goku on Namek. He turned toward Goku with hatred burning in his eyes, only to find Goku staring straight back at him.
"Hey, Frieza. Trunks is right," Goku said. "But if you want to try anything against us now, we're ready whenever you are."
Frieza was momentarily speechless. He had only wanted to stir up trouble, yet the atmosphere had suddenly become extremely awkward. Now everyone was focused on him.
"Hmph. I'll settle my score with you another time."
With no better option, Frieza backed down and immediately redirected everyone's attention toward Frost.
"Ohohoho! Frost, I must admit, I never expected you to use such underhanded methods to sell planets. How contemptible! I'm in the planetary trade as well, but I would never waste my time putting on such a clumsy performance. When I want a planet, I send in my army and take it. I don't bother with petty schemes like yours. That's because I possess overwhelming power. I have nothing to fear. But you chose such a roundabout approach because you weren't confident in your own strength, didn't you?"
Frieza spoke casually, yet his words struck Frost's heart like a sledgehammer and plunged him into suffocating silence. He had hit the nail on the head, exposing the secret Frost had always buried deep inside.
Frost had coveted Planet Sadala for a long time, but he had never been able to bring himself to attack it. The main reason was his fear of the Universe 6 Saiyans, especially the king of Planet Sadala. That fear was the only reason the planet had survived despite Frost's constant scheming.
Faced with Frieza's merciless mockery, Frost desperately tried to maintain his composure. But no matter how hard he attempted to hide it, a tiny shift in his expression failed to escape Frieza's sharp eyes.
The corner of Frieza's mouth curled into a mocking smile. He had caught Frost's momentary lapse.
"Ohohoho! It seems I was right, Frost!"
Frost's face flushed red. "Shut your mouth!"
In an instant, he transformed into the Golden Form he was so proud of.
Frieza paused, mildly surprised, but only mildly.
Frost was like a beast that had endured humiliation for years and finally found an opportunity to unleash everything it had suppressed. He raised his head proudly and sneered. "Who could have imagined it, Frieza? I've successfully achieved Golden Form as well! Not only that, but I've completely overcome all the weaknesses that once plagued me! Hahahahaha!"
Laughing arrogantly, Frost charged at Frieza like a speeding meteor. His eyes blazed with vicious determination, as though he would kill his hated counterpart in the very next second. His clenched fist carried tremendous force as it hurtled toward Frieza's infuriating face.
But at the last possible moment...
'Whoosh!'
A dark blur vanished from the spot.
When everyone looked again, they were astonished to see that Frieza had transformed into his own radiant Golden Form. Even more shocking was that he had silently appeared behind Frost like a ghost. His speed was beyond anything Frost could follow.
'Tap.'
Frieza lightly slapped him.
That was all it took. Frost shot uncontrollably toward the edge of the arena at nearly the speed of light, reverting to his base form before even a second had passed.
