Frost was still lost in thought when a painfully familiar voice struck his ears like a bolt of lightning, instantly bringing all the hatred buried deep inside him roaring back to life.
His body went rigid before he spun around so quickly his movement whipped up a sudden gust of wind.
Standing directly behind him was the single individual he hated most in any universe: Frieza.
For a split second, a tempest of conflicting emotions surged through Frost, an intoxicating rush at finally locating his sworn enemy, tangled with months of built-up rage and pure malice. He slowly raised his head, glaring up at Frieza with eyes burning with venom.
Normally, the two tyrants stood at roughly the same height. But Frieza had previously used the Dragon Balls to wish himself slightly taller, leaving Frost to physically look up at his counterpart, a detail Frieza was thoroughly enjoying, his lips curling into a triumphant, smug smirk.
"Hehehe... I finally found you, Frieza," Frost hissed, letting out a dark, raspy laugh.
His eyes flicked down to the hand Frieza still held casually on his shoulder. His expression darkened further as a violent surge of killing intent radiated outward.
'Whoosh!'
Frost leapt backward several paces, putting distance between them as he shouted, "Get your hands off me!"
The suave, gentlemanly act Frost had maintained for years vanished entirely, laying bare the unstable, vicious monster beneath. "You want to die, Frieza?! Fine! I'll grant your wish!"
The sudden turn stunned the surrounding Universe 6 contestants. To them, Frost had always been an extraordinarily polite, selfless hero, a noble figure throughout their universe. What they hadn't realized was that every bit of it had been a calculated facade.
God of Destruction Champa had always known the truth, but among the Universe 6 fighters present, only two remained completely unfazed by Frost's breakdown: Hit and Sarada. As an assassin, Hit was cautious by nature and had thoroughly investigated every member of Universe 6's roster before the tournament, naturally sharing his findings with Sarada.
---
Meanwhile, Bulla had managed to calm Caulifla down, though the female Saiyan remained thoroughly annoyed by how Sarada had held her back earlier.
"Hey, Sarada," Caulifla muttered, eyeing the tense standoff. "Why aren't you stopping Frost from picking a fight with Universe 7?"
Sarada watched Frost with the amused detachment of someone waiting for a good show to start. "Ah, don't worry about it, Caulifla," he replied, completely unbothered. "What happened earlier proved a point. The guy calling the shots in Universe 7 doesn't care about minor arguments like this."
Standing a short distance away, Trunks overheard the exchange. Beneath Sarada's carefree demeanor, the man was remarkably sharp, rough around the edges, but missing very little.
Caulifla, however, missed the nuance entirely. "What's that supposed to mean?"
Sarada didn't bother elaborating, smoothly changing the subject instead. "Forget about it. Just watch, Frost is about to have a very bad day."
Caulifla frowned. "Hey! He's still one of our Universe 6 teammates, isn't he? Why do you sound like you actually want to see him get pulverized?"
Sarada shook his head helplessly. "Well, you're not wrong. But this prince happens to be a decent judge of character, and Frost has never smelled like a good guy to me. The things he does behind closed doors aren't anything like the fairy tales you all believe."
Sarada crossed his arms, laying out the ugly reality without holding back. "On the surface, he plays the generous philanthropist. But behind the scenes, he runs a massive empire of crime. His private space pirates deliberately start wars on target planets. Then Frost swoops in at the last second, playing the hero who saved the day. Once those worlds are devastated and desperate, he buys them up for pocket change, securing both fame and astronomical profit. That's the real Frost."
The Universe 6 team stood in stunned silence. Even Kale found it hard to process, everything Sarada described was the exact opposite of the hero they knew.
"Is... is that really true, Brother?" Kale asked softly.
"Couldn't be truer, Kale," Sarada said, glancing toward the assassin. "If you don't take my word for it, ask Hit. He doesn't lie."
Everyone turned to Hit, who gave a single, firm nod.
Exposing Frost's actions went directly against the peaceful, honorable ideals of Universe 6's Saiyans, and the moment Hit confirmed the truth, disgust erupted among the group.
Caulifla was the first to snap. "You complete bastard!" she roared, pointing aggressively at Frost. "Once this tournament is over, I'm beating you into the dirt myself!"
Her outburst finally pulled Frost's attention away from Frieza.
"Hehehe... I didn't expect one of you monkeys to stumble onto my little secret," Frost sneered, not bothering to deny a single word. "That's right. Everything he said is true. So what?"
He smiled maliciously. "In fact, let me give you a little bonus preview: my next target is Planet Sarada! I've had my eye on your homeworld for a long time. I'm sure it'll fetch a fortune on the market!"
Caulifla's temper blew past its limit. Golden light erupted around her as she slammed into Super Saiyan, her aura flaring wildly. "Go ahead, smile like that one more time and see if I don't break your jaw right here!"
Though she had separated herself from main Saiyan society long ago to run her own crew with Kale, she still harbored a deep connection to her homeland. The instant someone threatened her roots, her fury burned white-hot.
She was ready to spring forward when a tall, muscular frame stepped directly in front of her like a brick wall.
"Hey, Frost," Sarada said, his voice dropping an octave as he stared at the tyrant. "You serious about what you just said?"
Frost's lips curled into a toxic grin as he nodded without hesitation. "Of course. When I make a business decision, I follow through."
Sarada casually stuck a pinky into his ear, scratching away as if the threat were a minor inconvenience. "Hmm... alright then. In that case, once this tournament wraps up, I'll personally take my forces to your homeworld."
He grinned, though his eyes turned icy cold.
"The Saiyans of Universe 6 stand for peace. We don't go looking for trouble," Sarada said, straightening up and folding his arms. "But that doesn't mean we let trash walk over us."
A dangerous gleam flickered in his gaze as he tilted his head, pretending to recall a minor detail. "Oh, right. Almost forgot... what was your homeworld called again? Something like... Planet Freeze, wasn't it?"
Sarada's grin widened into something terrifying. "Good. This prince will keep that in mind. I'll blow the entire thing into cosmic dust, there won't even be an atom left."
