Angel's Share.
Venti isn't here...
After looking around inside Angel's Share, Kaito didn't see Venti's figure, which made him curious where Venti had gone. He had originally thought the other party would be here, but they weren't.
"Didn't you find the person you were looking for, Kaito?"
Seeing Kaito had been looking for a while, Lumine, standing beside him, couldn't help but ask. Although she didn't know who Kaito was looking for, it seemed Kaito hadn't found anyone in his current state.
"Yeah, let's go check the plaza." Kaito nodded, deciding to go check the situation at the Anemo Archon Statue.
However, just as he was about to reach the door, he suddenly remembered Lumine's earlier suggestion about buying something. Since Venti wasn't here, he could indeed buy some wine to take to Venti.
"Wait for me, I'm going to pack some wine."
Turning around and walking towards the bar, Kaito told Lumine to wait for him.
Pack wine?
Watching Kaito's retreating back, Lumine couldn't help but wonder why Kaito would pack wine. If he wanted to drink, wouldn't it be better to just drink here?
Wait... could the person Kaito was looking for be that person in green clothes?
At this moment, Lumine suddenly recalled Kaito's friend whom she had seen here last time, who was so drunk he just slept face down on the table.
So he was a bard...
And speaking of which... he seemed to resemble Wendy a little...
"Let's go."
Just as Lumine was pondering some questions, Kaito had already packed the drinks and walked over.
"That bard isn't the person in green clothes who was sleeping face down on the table last time, is he?"
Seeing Kaito return, Lumine also asked this question. Although she already had a guess, she still had to see how Kaito would answer.
"Yes, I bought this wine for him." Kaito nodded.
"He really does love to drink."
Remembering the strong scent of alcohol she'd smelled last time, Lumine sighed with emotion.
Oh, right... Kaito doesn't seem to drink...
Glancing at Kaito, Lumine thought that was a good point about him.
At the Anemo Archon Statue.
"He doesn't seem to be here either, strange... where did he go?"
Holding a bag containing several bottles of wine, Kaito still didn't see Venti's figure at the Anemo Archon Statue.
"Could it be too early, and he hasn't left yet? How about I go look for him at his residence?"
Seeing that Kaito still hadn't found the bard, Lumine offered a suggestion. After all, if the bard wasn't outside, he must be at home.
"About that... I don't know where he lives."
When it came to Venti's residence, Kaito suddenly realized he had no idea where he lived. In the past, he rarely sought Venti out, and when Venti looked for him, he would usually just appear suddenly before him, so Kaito never had the chance to learn where he resided.
Lumine: "..."
"Alright, you actually don't even know where he lives, but I thought you two were quite close?"
Lumine was speechless at Kaito's answer. She hadn't expected him not to know where the other person lived, even though they seemed quite familiar with each other.
What's going on?
"We are close, but... um... it was my oversight."
After much thought, Kaito still couldn't find a good excuse.
"Is this a place he frequently appears? How about we sit on a nearby bench and wait a bit?"
Without continuing their previous conversation, Lumine suggested they sit here and wait for Venti to see if he would appear later.
"Alright, let's find a place to sit."
After a moment's thought, Kaito, feeling this was the only option, looked around and saw an empty bench. "There's still a spot over there, let's go."
With that, Kaito walked towards the bench, and Lumine followed closely behind.
"There are quite a lot of people here."
As soon as he sat down, Kaito remarked, watching the people come and go around them.
Although it was still early, there were indeed many people. There were people strolling, playing with children, and others doing something in front of the Anemo Archon Statue.
"It's normal for a place like this to be crowded, isn't it?" Lumine, sitting next to him, thought this place was similar to a plaza, so it was normal for it to be crowded.
Wendy's statue is really big...
At this point, Lumine directed her gaze towards the huge Anemo Archon Statue not far away.
Wait... will Wendy see us sitting this close...?
Suddenly, while looking at the statue, Lumine felt as though Wendy was currently watching her and Kaito squeezed onto a single bench. Because the bench wasn't very long, she was practically leaning against Kaito, and coupled with the Anemo Archon Statue nearby, this made Lumine feel a bit guilty, and her gaze immediately shifted away from the statue.
"Even though the Anemo Archon disappeared so many years ago, Mondstadt still has many people who believe in Him. Truly a remarkable deity."
Looking at the Anemo Archon Statue and the people gathered below it, Kaito couldn't help but voice such a sentiment.
He thought Venti was actually quite good, just a bit lazy. But even so, when Mondstadt couldn't solve a problem on its own, He would still intervene and wouldn't stand idly by.
However, after his reflection, he belatedly realized that many people now considered Wendy to be the Anemo Archon, including Lumine beside him.
I think you're even more remarkable... Kaito...
To be able to have the Anemo Archon help you with... *that*... using their mouth...
After listening to Kaito's sentiments, Lumine, glancing at Kaito and then at the Anemo Archon Statue, couldn't help but think this to herself.
And seeing Kaito praise the Anemo Archon so highly, she became curious about one thing.
If Kaito knew that the Anemo Archon he so revered had already helped him with *that* using their mouth, what would he think?
He'd probably be too scared to do it again...
As she thought, Lumine subconsciously imagined a few scenes.
Then Wendy scratching Kaito's pants...
And Kaito grabbing his pants, not letting go...
Can't think about it... can't think about it...
If Wendy knew I was thinking this, she'd beat me to death...
Quickly shaking her head, Lumine told herself to stop thinking about those things.
"What's wrong?"
Suddenly seeing Lumine shake her head, Kaito wondered what she was doing.
"Nothing much, just a bit bored, so I shook my head. If Paimon were here, I'd shake Paimon instead," Lumine said with a straight face.
Kaito: "..."
Seeing Lumine speak of improper things so seriously, Kaito didn't know what to say.
But just then, he finally realized why he and Lumine hadn't seen Venti.
It turned out He had already gone to Stormterror's Lair...
