Some called it Fate.
Others just consoled him saying that they were just in the wrong place at the wrong time. 
But he just blamed himself.
If he wasn't so weak, he wouldn't have been enslaved for a year, if he wasn't so weak, he wouldn't have left home, if he wasn't so weak… They would still be alive.
And so he decided, he's tired of being weak.
Tired of making excuses. 
In a universe where becoming powerful is as easy as remaining weak, he will seize every chance he got.
Some may call him immoral, others evil.
But he had a reason.
And so he would follow the path to power laid out before him.
Even if it involved sacrificing innocents.
After all the world didn't bat an eye when he was on the receiving end, so why should he.
He might be called a villian, but he would do anything to have his revenge and if possible, get back those he lost to death.
For this had become his reason for existing. 
This had become: A Reason for Villainy.
