Elira steadied her breath, kunai trembling in her grip. The ice fracturite's aura surged, cold waves spilling across the dungeon floor, freezing cracks into the stone. She narrowed her eyes.
Elira - Enough of playing, now,
Elemental Style.
Ice Version❄️
*Elira started sprinting forward, every step cracking against the frozen floor. At the same time, the ice fracturite surged towards her with inhuman speed, the ground trembling beneath its claws.
Her kunai left her hand in a silver flash— aimed straight for the creature's head.
SWISSH!
The fracturite tilted aside, narrowly dodging the strike, but its relentless sprint never faltered.
Elira's lips curved into a cold smirk.
"I knew it. Your game is over."
In that instant, her right hand flared—an immense orb of Elementrix, Ice Form, roaring into existence. The sphere spun violently, glowing with a chilling, pale-blue brilliance. The rotation was so intense, it howled like a blizzard ready to shred apart the world itself.
The fracturite lunged—only to sense a presence vanish before its eyes.
ZWOOM!
From above, Elira appeared in a sudden distortion of space. She had teleported—right to the kunai she had thrown earlier. Her silhouette cut through the cold air, hair fluttering wildly, kunai gripped in her left hand while the spinning storm of ice burned in her right.
Lyraen's eyes widened.
"She… she teleported to the kunai?! Just like that?!" said Lyraen.
Elira twisted her body mid-air, spinning full circle with deadly momentum. Every fragment of her strength was poured into the strike.
"—Jet Thrust!!!"
BOOOOOOOOM
The orb of raging ice slammed into the fracturite with monstrous force. The collision exploded with a deafening shockwave. Ice shards burst outward like shattered glass, the ground cracked and split, and a storm of air thrust engulfed the entire chamber.
The sheer wind pressure sent the others staggering backward, shielding their faces.
Lyraen – "I… I would've been blown away if I was any closer! What power is this?!"
Celestra watched with clenched fists, her eyes trembling.
"The way she moves… the battle IQ she has… I never expected her to grow this much! If she ever reaches a higher rank… just imagine the heights this girl could climb!" said Celestra.
Nyra's voice was low, almost in awe.
"This is beyond ordinary. She's only a C-ranked Echoheart… and yet she pulls off techniques that most could never even design, let alone execute. This girl… Elira… is something else." said Nyra.
The shockwave slowly subsided, dust and frost swirling in the still air. The dungeon had grown silent, too silent.
From within the haze, the fracturite's figure emerged—no longer charging, no longer roaring. Its body lay broken, motionless, as if it had been lifeless from the very beginning. The once-feared enemy, reduced to nothing but shards of weakness under Elira's might.
Elira landed softly on the fractured ice, her breath steady. She glanced at her kunai, then at the crumbled foe, eyes sharp with resolve.
The silence that followed wasn't emptiness—
It was acknowledgment.
Lyraen - You really did this? Is this the power that you hold? The tactics, it was beyond appreciation!
Nyra - Too good, Elira.
Elira - It wasn't that good, but thanks. But Celestra, I think you've forgotten about your enemy.
Celestra - Oh, I totally forgot about that brat. Let me beat this one.
*Kaelion's Team
Drevyn – "It seems like it has electrical powers."
Kaelion – "Renzo, you were about to tell a plan, right?"
Renzo – "Yes! Why don't we just beat them up?"
Drevyn – "See, Kaelion? His plans are worthless."
Kaelion – "A 3 vs 4 fight. Difficult… but not impossible."
Drevyn narrowed his eyes.
"Don't you think… they're familiar?"
Renzo – "Familiar? What do you mean?"
Kaelion – "What are you saying?"
Drevyn – "Their powers. Don't you think they're replicas of ours?"
Kaelion – "...Now that you say it—yes."
He looked at Renzo.
"Renzo. You fight the fracturite copying your powers."
Renzo smirked, stretching his arms.
"Fine by me. I'm running with energy!"
The fracturite suddenly began spinning with terrifying speed, its claws sparking with force. It raised both hands skyward, then plunged into the ground— the earth cracked open in violent fissures, swallowing frost and stone alike.
Renzo froze.
"Where did he go? He's… underground?!"
BOOM!
The fracturite launched itself from beneath the ground— from behind Renzo— blasting upward like a bullet. It spun mid-air, then came crashing down, leg extended.
Renzo barely dodged, rolling aside. But the fracturite didn't relent—
BAM! BAM! BAM!
Consecutive punches rained down like a storm. Renzo smirked between dodges.
"You can't beat me with these sloppy punches!"
But then—
ZWOOM!
The fracturite teleported behind him. Its elbow strike tore through the air.
Renzo spun, crossing his arms to block— but the impact detonated against him like lightning.
CRASH!
Renzo's body skidded across the ground, dust exploding in his wake. His trajectory carved a deep trench into the dungeon floor before smashing into a rock. The stone cracked apart on impact.
Renzo coughed, blood dripping from the corner of his mouth. His smirk faltered— but his eyes burned brighter.
