Chapter 6 - Chapter 6 Roaming the Campus

Sakura Chiyo, who was originally quite cheerful and good at interacting with others and forming friendships, seemed to have been affected by Qianshu Lian's previous actions. For a long time afterward, she didn't run over to Qianshu Lian's side again.

Qianshu Lian simply took advantage of this free time to look around and found quite a few students in the school who seemed familiar to him.

Many people who shouldn't have been in this school, or even in this city, seemed to have been integrated into it.

But fortunately, Qianshu Lian observed for a while and didn't find any overly supernatural characters. Of course, there was no need to mention stories like Sakura Megumi's, which could no longer happen.

Along the way, Qianshu Lian also saw his old friend, Hachiman Hikigaya, whom he had met before. It was clear that he had no intention of making friends.

Although he didn't suffer an injury from an accident and arrive late, as in the original work, which made it impossible for him to integrate and make friends in a short period.

However, Hachiman Hikigaya's personality itself, or rather, his personality after experiencing trauma, was already enough to make his path to making friends fraught with difficulties.

"Hachiman, want to go for a walk?"

Hachiman Hikigaya, who was lost in thought at his seat, heard a familiar voice. Without any surprise, he turned his head and, as expected, found the only friend he had made in middle school.

"You're really persistent, aren't you? You're not seriously trying to supervise the friends I make, are you?"

Hachiman Hikigaya rolled his eyes and skillfully walked out, putting his arm around Qianshu Lian's shoulder.

"I was just joking this morning. Don't I understand your personality? Just wait, when I make friends someday, I'll introduce them to you!"

Qianshu Lian also joked without hesitation. His own social skills weren't actually that great.

Throughout middle school, his record was only slightly better than Hachiman Hikigaya's; in fact, it could be said to be quite terrible.

"I've long heard that your homeroom teacher is the famous Iron Fist Saint, Hiratsuka Shizuka. But sometimes, seeing is believing. How do you feel about her?"

Although he had some understanding from the anime, it was nothing compared to the impressions gained from someone who had actually interacted with her.

"How should I put it? At least for now, she seems to be a very gentle person!" Hachiman Hikigaya said, carefully choosing his words.

However, from his slightly hesitant and not-so-certain words, Qianshu Lian still sensed his wavering.

It was clear that Hachiman Hikigaya himself knew that what he said might not be accurate, but if it was truly as the rumors said, his current evaluation, even if it spread, could save his own neck.

Moreover, it was their first meeting with the teacher, and it wouldn't be good to give a bad review based on such an initial impression that wasn't very clear.

"What about your side? I remember your teacher doesn't seem to be very famous, at least I haven't been able to find out anything."

Hachiman Hikigaya asked Qianshu Lian in return. Qianshu Lian secretly thought to himself that their ability to gather information was pretty much the same.

He only knew about Hiratsuka Shizuka from his memories of watching anime, let alone Sakura Megumi, who wasn't originally from the same world as him.

"My homeroom teacher is Teacher Sakura Megumi. She's a very gentle female teacher, mainly responsible for teaching us Chinese."

No matter what he thought in his heart, Qianshu Lian still spoke his teacher's name.

Aside from the homeroom teacher, teachers of other subjects, while not unimportant, had much less contact with them.

So, generally, if one wanted to remember which teacher's class a student was in, they could just remember the homeroom teacher's name.

"As expected, I haven't heard anything~" Hachiman Hikigaya sighed. Although he could discreetly listen to gather some information, it was still much worse than directly asking a friend.

But then again—Qianshu Lian was his friend, and the information he learned through Qianshu Lian could also be counted as information he had gathered, right?

"I don't know what you're thinking, but I have a feeling it's nothing too proper!"

Qianshu Lian glanced at Hachiman Hikigaya with suspicion, then changed the subject without pressing further.

"Oh, right, what club are you planning to join? Coming to a high school where no one else knows your past, it's a good opportunity to try to change yourself and enter a new life!"

Qianshu Lian pulled out two boxes of yogurt from somewhere, handed one to Hachiman Hikigaya, and poked open the other for himself, drinking it while continuing to speak,

"Although you probably don't have this idea, I'll still ask you the opposite way~"

"If you already know, then don't ask. If I had to say, it would probably be the going-home club!" Hachiman Hikigaya said after sighing.

"After all, I'm not like you. Even if my personality is a bit introverted, I'm not very good at communicating with others!"

At this point, Hachiman Hikigaya first continued to look at Qianshu Lian, then went on to say, "But with your excellent grades and physical build, plus your handsome appearance, that's already enough for you to attract a lot of attention!"

"Someone like you, even if you don't talk much, others will only label you with things like 'cool' or other rather pleasant words!"

"What you said makes sense. We really are different!"

Qianshu Lian nodded in agreement. In this life, he lacked nothing. Although his family wasn't very wealthy, who knew he had drawn so many things?

He gradually became rich. Now, Qianshu Lian no longer cared about money, but it was precisely this attitude of being well-off and no longer caring about money.

The various habits he had developed, combined with his looks, academic performance, athletic physique, and other aspects, Qianshu Lian could now be said to be an all-around hexagonal warrior.

No matter who it was, after even a brief interaction, they would understand that Qianshu Lian's own conditions were truly exceptionally superior.

"You bastard!"

Looking at Qianshu Lian's expression, which seemed to say, 'You're so right, I'm speechless,' Hachiman Hikigaya couldn't help but want to throw the yogurt in his hand at him.

However, after thinking about it, the yogurt in his hand was originally given to him by the other party, and one should not look a gift horse in the mouth.

Finally, Hachiman Hikigaya suppressed the impulse surging within him, picked up the yogurt in his hand, angrily inserted the straw, and took a big gulp.

"As expected of you, the yogurt this guy brought out tastes really good!" Hachiman Hikigaya exclaimed after finishing a mouthful.
