Chapter 25 - Marked for Elimination

Genre: Romantic | Drama | ActionSetting: Capital city, government corridors, safehouse, and shadowy plotsTone: Suspenseful, intense, emotional

Scene 1: Capital City – Intelligence HQ – Early Morning

The city was tense. The skyline was quiet, but underneath, chaos brewed.

Inside the Intelligence Command Room, Commander Raheel monitored encrypted chatter.

"Someone leaked our location," he muttered. "There's movement near the safehouse."

Ayaan tightened his jaw. "I'll get them out."

Faizan, despite his cold demeanor, nodded gravely. "They're not just after Hana and her mother anymore. They want you, too. You're a symbol now—of defiance."

Raheel tossed Ayaan a flash drive.

"Encrypted identities, escape route, coordinates to an emergency bunker. You have one shot."

Scene 2: Safehouse – Hana's Room

Hana sat at a makeshift desk, scribbling something in her mother's old leather notebook.

When Ayaan burst through the door, she looked up, startled.

"They found us," he said.

Amina stood immediately, eyes sharp.

"I've lived in fear too long. We'll go."

Outside, black SUVs moved like shadows through the wet street. A muffled explosion rocked the back wall.

Ayaan grabbed Hana's hand, shouting, "MOVE!"

They escaped through the hidden tunnel Raheel had carved weeks ago. Rain drenched their bodies, but they ran like fire chased them.

Scene 3: Safe Bunker – Outskirts – 2 Hours Later

Inside the dim-lit emergency bunker, silence reigned.

Raheel's voice crackled through the comms. "You're safe—for now. But the opposition is mounting a public narrative. They're calling you traitors."

Amina sighed. "They're turning the story. Classic deflection."

Hana stood by the narrow window, heart racing. "If we disappear, they win. What's the point of surviving if the world forgets the truth?"

Ayaan turned to her. "Then we stay in the fight."

"But at what cost?" Amina whispered.

He didn't answer. He just placed a protective hand over Hana's, anchoring her.

Scene 4: Government Corridors – Same Night

In a top-secret briefing, General Faizan stood before a room of cold, calculating politicians.

"Operation Eclipse has failed," he declared. "The public is asking questions."

One minister slammed the table. "Then silence them. Silence them all."

But Faizan hesitated. In the room's corner, an elite foreign agent named Zorina smirked.

"Give me 48 hours. The girl will vanish. The soldier will be disgraced. And the scientist—erased from history."

Faizan met her gaze with quiet defiance.

"They're not just names. They're the last line between us and complete exposure."

Zorina's reply was a whisper: "Then burn the line."

Scene 5: Hidden Bunker – Midnight

Raheel's laptop pinged with a location trace.

"They found us."

Ayaan and Hana locked eyes. No more running.

She opened her mother's journal—the last page was unfinished.

A plan.

A secret that could expose the roots of corruption in the intelligence and defense community. But it required someone to infiltrate the media tower.

"I'll go," Hana said.

Ayaan stopped her. "No. You're too exposed."

"Exactly," she whispered. "They'll be looking for a soldier, not a girl in a scarf."

A beat of silence passed.

"I trust you," he said softly, brushing her damp hair from her face.

She smiled.

"You better. I'm trusting you with my life."

Final Scene: A Van on the Move – Predawn

Zorina sat in the back of a high-tech van, images flickering across the screen.

She zoomed in on Hana's face from traffic footage.

"There you are, sweetheart," she purred. "Time to play."
