Chapter 3 - Chapter 3: Wait, For Real? I’m Playing Aizen?

The second Sulien Daelan turned to flee, the monster sensed its prey's desperate struggle. Relishing the thrill of the hunt, it sprang into action. Its hind legs bulged with unnatural strength, muscles rippling like steel cables far beyond human limits. Sulien sprinted blindly, heart pounding, as heavy thuds and sharp whooshes echoed behind him—a predator closing in with the terrifying majesty of a tiger.

Fear and panic flooded Sulien's mind, drowning out everything else. Clinging to a flicker of hope and a primal urge to survive, he risked a glance back. Big mistake. His face drained of color, despair creeping in like a cold shadow. The monster was fast—inhumanly so. Its movements were a blur, defying logic as it ricocheted off the narrow alley's walls, then vaulted over his head with a bone-rattling BOOM. The gust of its landing whipped Sulien's clothes, his ears ringing.

His scalp prickled, every nerve screaming. Slowly, like a rusted gear grinding to life, he turned his head. The monster's grotesque, snarling face was inches from his own, its rancid breath hot against his skin.

"No way, man! Don't screw over the new guy!" Sulien's mind reeled, a weak quip slipping out as despair crushed him. He knew even breaking human limits wouldn't outrun this thing's terrifying speed. All he could do was pray. If this world had monsters like this, surely there were exorcists, ninjas, onmyoji, something to stop them. Otherwise, humanity would've been wiped out long ago.

The monster hissed, its mocking gaze sizing Sulien up like a thug cornering a victim in a dead-end alley. Its long, slimy tongue flicked, splattering foul mucus everywhere. With a guttural roar, it lunged, jagged maw aiming for Sulien's head.

"Come on! Exorcist, ninja, night watchman—anyone, save me!" Sulien's inner voice screamed.

Then, something impossible happened. The monster froze mid-pounce, suspended in midair. Time itself seemed to stop—everything stilled. Confusion replaced the ashen dread in Sulien's eyes. Before he could process it, his body went weightless, like he'd been flung off a cliff. Seconds later, the sensation vanished.

He blinked, scanning his surroundings. Pitch-black nothingness. The alley, the monster, the mangled victim—all gone. As if none of it had happened. But the stench of the monster's mucus clinging to his clothes told him it was all too real.

"What the hell? Anyone there? Hello?" Sulien's voice echoed in the void.

Then, something eerie unfolded. Crimson pinpoints of light flickered to life, one by one, bathing the darkness in an unsettling red glow. Sulien froze, wide-eyed. Before he could think, the lights shifted, swirling into rows of glowing text.

Sulien's jaw dropped. So that tongue-flicking nightmare was a cursed spirit. He was actually in Jujutsu Kaisen. "No way, dude! I was just eating lunch, reading manga, and ranting, and you really dropped me here to fight Sukuna?" A thousand mental "what the fucks" galloped through his brain. He'd joked about getting an enrollment text to battle Sukuna, and now he was here?

Still, he couldn't complain too much. At least he got the standard transmigrator perk: a golden finger system. But one thing nagged at him. "Draw a villain? How's that work?"

As if on cue, a ring of cards materialized around him, their faces blurred and unreadable. They spun in a circular orbit, humming with energy. "So that's how it goes!" Sulien muttered. With a quick hand, he snatched one from the whirling deck.

The moment he gripped it, golden light erupted from the card, streaming into his body. His entire form glowed, radiant and dazzling. "Holy crap, a golden legendary!" The flashy effect screamed rare pull.

As he watched, the fog obscuring the card's face burned away like kindling, revealing its details. A figure with brown hair, brown eyes, and black-rimmed glasses gazed back at him. Gentle features, a warm smile—an approachable, big-brother vibe.

Then he read the text, and his brain short-circuited.
