Roy Thompson's fury within his chest calmed down a bit after letting out three powerful punches, and now hearing Aiden Grant's tactful words, it eased further, though he still spoke to him with an unfriendly tone, "Eldest Young Master Grant, even if Lily doesn't tell me, I know. She decided to return to Silvercrest so suddenly because her heart was broken by you."
Aiden Grant glanced at his worried wife, nodding to her to indicate that he was fine, then turned to Roy Thompson and said, "Riley Thompson, your guess is correct; it is indeed my fault."
"Hmph, Eldest Young Master Grant, take care!" Roy Thompson's anger hadn't dissipated; he didn't want to see Aiden Grant's face anymore. He cast a brief glance at Lily Shaw, whose eyes were only for Aiden, and his suppressed anger flared up again. He turned around to leave, unwilling to even say goodbye to her.
