Lily Shaw was totally focused on the info on her phone. After more than a minute, she lifted her head too fast and smashed right into Roy Thompson's chin with a loud thud.
Hearing his painful hiss, she quickly turned to check Roy's chin, unaware that Roy had purposely turned his face toward her—so her lips landed squarely on his cheek.
"Riley Thompson, is your chin okay?" Lily didn't care at all about this minor incident. To her, it was just accidentally kissing her "little brother."
Roy's eyes flashed with disappointment. His Lily really did treat him like a brother.
But it's fine, as long as some people don't see it that way.
Gigi Sawyer, who was closest to them, twitched both her eyes and mouth at once. She finally figured it out—Roy was definitely up to no good with this dumb Lily Shaw.
