"Miss Sullivan has difficulty walking, Mrs. Quinn knows you know a lot of people, she came here in desperation."
Claire Sullivan went to the hotel, made a scene, wanted to see Mr. Sterling, and demanded he find her daughter. Such odd behavior inevitably made one suspect there was something between them!
