Serena Sullivan watched as he threw her painstakingly crafted artwork into the trash can, unable to suppress the anger surging inside her, and shouted, "Ethan Grant!"
He knew very well that she couldn't tolerate anyone ruining her work.
The two had reunited, and in the past, even when Ethan Grant humiliated her, she would smile at him. Even when she saw him hugging and cuddling with Zoe Quinn, she didn't take it to heart!
Now, Serena was losing her temper.
Four years ago, she had been spoiled by Ethan Grant, with her emotions always displayed on her face, because there was a man who allowed her to vent, who laughed with her.
She never needed to disguise herself, which was why everyone in Solaria gossiped that the Eldest Young Master Grant's girlfriend had a very bad temper.
After so many things had happened, what qualifications did Serena Sullivan have to be willful?
"Mr. Grant!"
Serena glanced at Ethan Grant, who seemed momentarily dazed, took a breath, pressed her lips together again, and shifted her gaze to the scenery outside the window behind him, "How about this, if I get into this company, will you promise me one thing?"
"One thing?" Ethan Grant curled his lips, took two steps towards Serena, then stopped, "If you get in, I'll agree to ten things for you."
"It's just that..."
Ethan Grant slowed his voice, "I really want to see which company would dare to hire you!"
"Alright!" Serena genuinely smiled this time, "It's a deal."
Tomorrow, if she really succeeded in her interview at The Grant Corporation, wouldn't Ethan Grant's face be slapped by his own words?
She also hoped Ethan Grant wouldn't interfere too much in the "Infatuated" designer's interview, otherwise, she might not even get through the door of The Grant Corporation.
"Get inside and sleep."
As Serena was thinking about tomorrow's interview, Ethan Grant said again, displeased.
She glanced at Ethan's sullen face and then at the artwork in the trash can, anticipating that Ethan would make things difficult for her, so she prepared more than one piece for this interview.
Serena wheeled herself towards the guest room. In the dining room, Ethan Grant heard the door close, took out a cigarette, had a couple of puffs, then looked down at the design drafts in the trash can.
Without hesitation, he squatted down, picked up the drafts, placed them back on the table, and carefully smoothed them out. Seeing the completed work, Ethan Grant slowed his smoking, a faint smile appearing on his lips.
The work was truly excellent!
The next day, Anna Morgan promptly picked up Serena Sullivan and headed to The Grant Corporation.
As soon as she picked up Serena, she couldn't help but curse, "I just ran into that bastard Ethan downstairs. I really want to beat him up!"
She had just arrived with her car when she saw Ethan Grant get into his car and leave.
Today, Serena was going to The Grant Corporation for an interview. He seemed unaware, which was good. If he knew, he might block Serena's path for Zoe Quinn's sake.
"You can't beat him!"
Serena chuckled as she listened to Anna Morgan. Anna Morgan, Serena, and Finn Chandler had been friends since middle school and had a very tight bond.
In these four years, if it weren't for those two, how could she have made it to now?
"Don't worry." Anna Morgan started the car, speaking earnestly, "I'll keep training hard. Someday, I'll be able to take Ethan Grant down."
Serena looked at Anna Morgan, who put on sunglasses and was full of anger, and replied with a smile, "I believe you."
Back when Ethan Grant was in school, he fought brutally. No matter how strong Anna was, how could she be a match for him?
However, if she didn't express belief in Anna, Anna would sulk at her.
The two continued their laughter and chatter and quickly arrived at The Grant Corporation.
At the entrance of The Grant Corporation, Serena, sitting in her wheelchair, looked puzzled at Anna Morgan, who parked the car and came over. Had they come to the wrong place?
