After having dinner, everyone sat and chatted for a while before returning to their own homes.
Since Jiang Jingming had drunk alcohol tonight, he stayed overnight at Jiang Songwen's house.
Only the next day did he leave with Sang Yu from Jiang Songwen's home.
Before leaving, He Xiulan pulled Sang Yu aside and whispered, "Try on this dress after you take a bath tonight."
Sang Yu was curious, seeing He Xiulan's mysterious demeanor: "What kind of dress is this?"
He Xiulan waved it off, "It's the qipao you asked to be made. I thought it was quite suitable, so I had the tailor make one according to your measurements. Try it on tonight."
Sang Yu nodded at her words, "Alright, I understand, thank you, auntie."
He Xiulan: "No need to thank me."
Then she finally let Sang Yu leave with Jiang Jingming.
Jiang Jingming looked at the bag in Sang Yu's hand: "What's that?"
Sang Yu replied, "Oh, this is a dress auntie gave me, saying I should try it on tonight."
