Chapter 188 - Chapter 190: Decimation

After speaking, he turned his gaze to Maul. "Is this your backup plan? Relying on subordinates to save you?"

Maul revealed a ferocious look but remained silent.

He had notified the Crimson Dawn army to reinforce him the moment he discovered Dathomir was being invaded. That was why he had been so fearless in engaging in this meaningless duel.

He just hadn't expected that the young man who had been watching from the sidelines was a powerful Force user, becoming his biggest obstacle now.

He had never heard of this person.

"Who trained you, Jedi?" Maul asked.

"You'll find out." Amir wasted no more words. Although he trusted 32 and the others, they had to end this battle quickly; the longer it dragged on, the more disadvantageous it would be for them.

Hanging Maul's red lightsaber on his waist, Amir activated his own green lightsaber. He assumed the opening stance of Form III: lightsaber held high, the blade tip and his left hand pointing forward together.

Maul smiled and raised the Darksaber.

He hadn't given up resistance yet. After all, the person in front of him was just an unknown teenager. Even if he was much stronger than the average apprentice, he wouldn't possess Maul's swordsmanship or experience.

As long as he seized an opportunity, he could win by surprise!

Seeing Amir's stance, a trace of nostalgia flashed in Maul's eyes, and he took the initiative to raise his sword and attack.

Amir displayed a solid foundation in Form III, easily blocking all of Maul's attacks.

The two exchanged blows, gradually forming a stalemate. Although Amir was in much better condition than Maul, he still had to guard against a sudden counterattack.

The Darksaber was unusually light in Maul's hands, the whistling sound of it tearing through the air constantly echoing around them.

To defeat Maul quickly, Amir would have to risk attacking by changing his lightsaber form. However, Amir didn't have much experience with other forms, which would easily allow Maul to catch a weakness.

But Amir's current strength did not lie in his swordsmanship, but in other aspects.

. . .

Dathomir's Orbit

In the crimson sky of Dathomir, several ships bearing uniform markings broke through the atmosphere, flying toward the ground with clear purpose.

32, piloting The Traveler, had already entered cloaking mode in advance, making Han Solo, who was watching from the side, envious.

The Millennium Falcon could only hover nearby, its massive hull instantly attracting the attention of this fleet.

There were eight ships in total—medium-sized troop transports and starfighters. Many signs of modification could be seen on them, maximizing their combat capabilities.

"This isn't what we agreed on!" Han Solo piloted the Falcon toward the distance. There was complex terrain there where he could circle slowly with the pursuing enemy fighters and look for opportunities to fight back.

Meanwhile, The Traveler silently moved to the side.

Among the oncoming enemy planes, a pilot in black armor frowned at the red dots on his radar.

Just a moment ago it showed two ships, how did it suddenly become one?

Is the sensor broken?

Most of the pursuers were single-pilot starfighters; the remaining transports carried the army cultivated by Crimson Dawn.

These fully armed soldiers were to be sent to the ground to help their boss.

32's target was precisely these transports.

In its stealth state, The Traveler had shut down almost all signal transmission devices, leaving only the essential flight systems open and switching weapons to manual control.

Only by looking closely could one discover that the air in this space was being disturbed.

The Traveler was like a ghost, quietly trailing behind the four troop transports.

Even though there were many good opportunities, 32 didn't fire. He just waited.

Milisen got her wish to sit in the co-pilot's seat, staring with wide, excited eyes.

The four transports rapidly approached the ground. They found a clearing suitable for landing and began to decelerate and descend.

Han Solo shouted over the communicator again: "Hurry up and deal with them, then come help me!"

Four fighters were biting tight on the Falcon's tail. If not for Han's decent piloting skills, he would have been hit many times already.

Currently, he was weaving between mountain peaks, using the terrain to block laser fire, trying to shake off the enemy planes.

"More ships are coming! Oh, no!" As he flew, he saw several more ships flying from the distance, also heading toward Amir's location with clear purpose.

Ignoring Han Solo's yelling, 32 aimed the main cannon at the landing zone of the four transports through the red fog from a distance.

Waiting for the moment they were about to touch the ground, he said to Milisen: "Fire!"

Milisen couldn't wait any longer; her small hand pressed the button in front of her directly.

At that moment, a bright green spot suddenly appeared in the seemingly empty air. The sensors in front of the pilots of the four transports flashed red simultaneously.

"Massive energy detected!!!"

"Massive energy detected!!!"

They looked at the screens in front of them in panic. A huge red dot was flashing frantically just behind them!

"Damn it! Is there a heavy laser cannon ambushing us here?!" one shouted unwillingly, frantically pulling the control stick, trying to make the piece of junk under his feet take off!

But the ship's speed had long since dropped to zero; dodging was completely impossible!

The Traveler decloaked. A thick, blinding green column of light erupted violently from its bow. In less than half a second, it slammed into the first enemy ship. The deflector shield, which should have been able to withstand several attacks, merely flickered under the green light before shattering instantly. The beam charged directly into the ship's interior.

BOOM!!!

Infused with massive energy, the ship exploded directly. The shockwave unsettled the nearby transports.

The beam had already punched through the first ship and reached the second without pausing. Without any surprise, this ship was also detonated instantly.

32's hand pulled the yoke slightly, moving The Traveler's nose. The green beam shifted with it.

It was like a lightsaber gently slicing through leaves on the ground.

The green beam swept across the four transports, destroying them all with ease! Only wreckage remained amidst the explosions.

Even the ground beneath the ships was blasted into a deep trench, soil scattering in all directions!

"Yay!" Milisen let out a shout of victory!

32 was also stunned for a moment. Although he had seen it once before, he was still shocked by this power.

At this moment, Han Solo's voice came again: "Hahaha! Those new ships are friendlies! The Mandalorians have arrived!"

The sound of ship fire could be heard over the comms; it seemed the offense and defense had shifted.

Having dealt with the transports, 32 activated The Traveler to fly into the sky; he needed to continue helping.

Just then, he saw another ship approaching from the distant sky.

His vision was excellent; he had seen this ship before.

It was Crimson Dawn's mobile base.

The very gathering place they had visited before!
