All the buildings—and every citizen inside—were gripped by fear. But some held strong faith in their soldiers and technological power.
"Don't worry, kids! We'll be safe,"
A parent said, trying to give strength to his children.
They cried, prayed, and some stood firm in their belief that they would win…
Against Anon.
> [Opening Gates of Hell!]
A building with a massive gate opened, shaking the ground violently. From its dark interior, a blinding red light emerged.
"Hahaha! That is our masterpiece! A true representation of our power!"
An old official laughed.
From the building, a giant robot began to move. It was so massive, it nearly matched the height of the skyscrapers touching the clouds.
"Dang, that's even bigger than the creatures I fought in the forest,"
Anon said, impressed.
The robot turned to look at Anon.
> [Target Spotted!]
From its back, two towering square machines extended. They released a mysterious energy that shattered the sound barrier.
"And now taste that, you son of a b***h!"
The old man shouted.
But to Anon, it was just child's play. In fact, this kind of attack was weak to him.
He started chanting—and time stopped.
"Great Collapse!"
Time resumed. The robot launched its attack, unaware that Anon had already finished his chant.
"That attack is faster than sound… meaning he shouldn't have had time to speak even a single word."
An official assumed while watching through a monitor.
But to their shock, in the blink of an eye, their so-called masterpiece had shattered into pieces.
Its fragments crashed to the ground, destroying the roads below.
The clanging of its broken parts echoed through the city.
"Hmmm?"
Anon rubbed his chin thoughtfully.
"Should I spare them?"
—
Inside the building, where the officials were hiding:
"How did he do that?!
Didn't you say he could only use his powers by chanting?"
The old official shouted, pointing angrily.
"Sir, it's true he needs to chant—but perhaps he has more up his sleeve than we anticipated. I recommend we open the special gate."
Another official suggested.
Their expressions shifted. They looked at one another and nodded in agreement.
—
Outside, Anon floated calmly, waiting for someone to emerge—hoping someone might change his mind or convince him not to annihilate them.
"Hello? What the heck? Are they deaf—or just cowards hiding and throwing toys at me?"
Finally, someone appeared on the rooftop.
"There you are! What took you so long?"
Anon flew closer with a smile.
"Entity 111, we have decided to surrender under your rule,"
the man said sincerely, bowing.
"Huh? Are you all idiots? I was hoping you'd say something like, 'Entity whatever, we'll never surrender! We will fight with knowledge and passion to defend what we believe!' …you know, something dramatic."
Anon landed beside him.
The man thought:
"Heheheh... ignorant brat."
Anon stepped forward.
Step. Step. His small feet echoed on the concrete rooftop.
His eyes scanned the destruction below.
"Nah… that mess doesn't justify me being the main character."
He chanted again:
"Hah! I'll just repair the damage. Kaboom—no bad impression will come to me!"
"Rewind!"
The destroyed buildings reformed, returning to their original state.
But the lives he took did not return. Their shattered bodies still lay lifeless on the ground.
"How's that?"
He crossed his arms, trying to impress the man.
But when he turned around… the man was gone.
"Huhhh?! Where the hell did he go?"
He wandered across the rooftop, searching.
—
At Grandeul Jail...
"Is it ready now?"
The old man asked.
Then, someone important appeared—
The King.
King Dan, the most intelligent person in the entire Kingdom of Knower.
Known for his genius strategies, yet no one knew his origin.
All the high officials knelt before him.
"Wise King!"
He sat on a chair and turned to face them.
"What troubles you, Manager of the Warrior League?"
he asked loudly.
One official stood and answered:
"My King! I've never experienced anything like this. That child—the devil's child—has killed and destroyed our facility and its workers. None of our tech could stop him. Even our highest-security robot was instantly destroyed!
It's a good thing you've returned from your visit, King Dan. I humbly request… we must open the special gate."
The king leaned back in his chair, staring at the ceiling.
"This is a cycle… a repetition of events.
But this time is different for me. I now have the power and the will to control my emotions. I will not repeat the same mistake.
There's no need to open it. I will go and vanquish the threat myself."
He sighed.
"A pity… I had planned to use that kid's power.
But rest assured, my loyal officials, I will handle this."
At first, they disapproved of his decision.
"Our king, the head must not do the work of the body!"
"Yes! Better we die than do nothing."
"This is dangerous, my King!"
Still, they relented.
"We shall follow your will!"
"Me too!"
"If you say so…"
All six high officials responded differently.
The King thought:
"My decision won't change, no matter what they say.
I'm confident I can defeat that brat without breaking a sweat."
He walked, his black cape trailing behind him, confidence in every step.
He didn't listen to any of their complaints—just headed straight toward Anon.
Their jaws dropped. One punched the floor.
Others stayed serious and silent.
Many will give. More will have. But few will cherish what they possess.
Humans will strive to live and give meaning to life—even if it means defying the laws of nature.
And one who ignores those laws… becomes the strongest.
A human who can rule without limitation is unstoppable.
—
Outside the towering meeting hall...
The King walked out and spotted Anon hovering above, staring at him.
"Kid! It's time you stop this childish game,"
he shouted.
"Shut up, you villain!"
Anon snapped back.
The King landed in front of him. The atmosphere shifted.
Both were ready to unleash their power.
But Anon broke the tension:
"Stop! Stop this kind of situation!
Oh my goodness, this kind of climax is so cliché! I want a new trope—something unique!"
The King thought:
"What's his deal? Does he even know his life's at stake?
Well… he is the son of Lu—… no, it makes sense.
Anyone who gains power and doesn't use it for others always thinks only of themselves."
He drew a sword from his wrist—a silver blade with a blue crystal in the hilt.
He pointed it at Anon and declared:
"Fine. Let's make this unique. Let's fight with swords.
Whoever wins—by kill or surrender—shall rule."
Anon was annoyed that the King was taking charge,
but the idea of a sword fight was new to him. So he agreed.
"Alright, sounds new. Let's begin."
He chanted.
Whenever Anon chanted, time slowed.
"Create!"
A long black blade manifested in his hand.
"Ahh, it's so heavy!"
He struggled to lift it, legs shaking.
Unaware, the King had already begun.
He was suddenly right in Anon's face—faster than expected.
Anon didn't have time to react.
The King slashed his chest.
"You coward! I won't forgive this! I'll destroy you!"
His rage exploded. His chest split open, blood suspended in the air.
Time stopped.
Anon distanced himself from the King, whose body was frozen—but slightly moving.
"Great Catastrophe… continue your destruction and bring death to all who defy me!"
