As a self-proclaimed qualified Boss, one naturally has to fight for the interests of diligent employees, and as long as it's within the rules, no one can criticize.

Aaron, who was about to exchange a few more pleasantries, had just opened his mouth when he saw a golden flash in Joseph Weil's eyes. He instantly found himself back at the manor entrance, with two Beyonder characteristics sealed in boxes beside him.

Joseph Weil's slightly ethereal echo reverberated in his ears:

"These Beyonder materials are extremely valuable. I will go to Osel with Reinhardt Weil to supervise each other and guard the escort."

"I won't be in Backlund during this period, so don't cause any trouble."

Aaron pouted. Two demigods escorting?

The only demigod-level item was still in the Nation of Disorder; one demigod was enough to guard the remaining items.

And mutual supervision? What demigod would betray their family for a few Sequence 5 or Sequence 6 items worth at most tens of thousands of pounds? They just want to escape the hustle and bustle, don't they?

Reinhardt Weil watched Aaron's carriage leave East Tucker Manor, a smile playing on his lips as he looked at Joseph Weil beside him and teased:

"Are you really planning to go back to Osel with me?"

Joseph Weil's usually stern and rigid face twitched, and he grumbled, "Yes."

After a few seconds, he added, "I've been on duty in Backlund for 12 years, and it's always been peaceful, but this kid has been here for just over 3 months, and the number of times I've personally taken action is almost equal to the total in those 12 years."

"It's good to go back and rest. I haven't been back in 12 years."

The sound of horse hooves diminished, the carriage remained parked at the entrance, and Aaron stepped down, holding two iron boxes.

Unbeknownst to him, it was almost dawn. The sky was still covered with a faint morning mist, and the eastern horizon was tinged with a warm orange.

Aaron hadn't slept all night. The excitement of exploring Amon's Mausoleum and the thrill of his gains had faded, and now he only felt physically and mentally exhausted.

Aaron pushed open the bedroom door and saw Evelyn gracefully perched on the desk, her light silver eyes fixed on him, an open book beside her.

Aaron glanced at it, feeling something was amiss. He told Evelyn not to come in, then went into the partition, set up a Spirit World wall, and sacrificed the two boxes in his hand to the Nation of Disorder.

When Aaron emerged from the partition, he was surprised to find Evelyn still sitting on the desk, unmoving. Although surprised, he was too tired to ask and simply lay down on the bed.

A scene flashed through Aaron's mind, and a question arose: "That book seemed to be open to that page when I left yesterday. Why is it still on that page after a day?"

Evelyn saw Aaron lie down and his breathing steady. A glint of cunning flashed in her light silver eyes. She tiptoed to the windowsill and then ran out.

In an uninhabited alley in the East Borough, a group of stray cats gathered, quiet and orderly, as if forming a small family. Evelyn sat regally in the center of the cat group.

Aaron's figure appeared at the alley entrance, staring dumbfounded at the scene. He hadn't expected to see this following Evelyn—so the cat ran out to be a Boss.

Upon seeing Aaron, a hint of panic flashed in Evelyn's eyes. She meowed, and the cat group immediately scattered. She then pretended to be calm and walked back to Aaron's side.

Aaron once again picked her up by the scruff of her neck, looking at her with a wry smile, and asked, "Honestly, how long has this been going on?"

Evelyn let out a weak meow, symbolically resisting with a cat paw, and then haughtily declared:

"It's been almost two weeks. I've already gathered all the stray cats in the East Borough. Now they all listen to me."

Aaron rolled his eyes, didn't linger, and took her back to the bedroom via Spirit World travel, placing her back on the desk before going back to sleep.

Evelyn lay on the blanket, fuming, feeling that Aaron had ruined her detective adventure. She sullenly used her tail to flip the pages of the book beside her.

-----------------

Inside the magnificent Temple, shrouded in dark golden mist, Aaron sat on the throne, lost in thought, holding the Ghost Picture Frame.

A moment later, his right hand lowered, and the divination pendant floated silently above the Ghost Picture Frame. Aaron murmured softly, closed his eyes, and began to divine.

"Ghost Picture Frame (in concealment)"

Ability 1: Except for the holder, anyone who enters its range and is reflected within will have their spirit body and physical body forcibly absorbed, becoming a portrait. It can hold a maximum of 3 portraits.

Ability 2: After approaching a certain range, consuming spirituality to make the hands of the scroll rotate clockwise can extract and store time from enemies who have lost the ability to resist.

Consuming spirituality to make the hands of the scroll rotate counter-clockwise can select a target and bestow the stored time upon them.

One full rotation of the hands represents 120 years. Each clockwise rotation will form a slightly smaller and more blurred special symbol, composed of a dial, twelve segments, and hands, in the corner of the scroll.

Symbols formed from time provided by divine beings are light golden; all others are grayish-white.

Negative Effect: When in use, a concealed environment must be provided, otherwise it will attract Amon's attention. It cannot remain outside for more than 1 hour, otherwise it will uncontrollably plunder time and life on a large scale.

Opening his eyes, Aaron looked at the Ghost Picture Frame in his hand with satisfaction. After combining with that scroll, its abilities had been enhanced. Although the conditions for use were a bit strict, it was very powerful.

Aaron carefully examined the scroll within the frame, counting only 5 golden marks but a full 30 grayish-white marks.

Although he was surprised that so many years of time were stored, he thought of a Loen soldier from over a hundred years ago, a Fourth Epoch noble, a Third Epoch ascetic, and one elf and one giant from the second epoch, all mentioned in Groselle's Travels.

This amount of time seemed insignificant, as even from the end of the second epoch, it has been at least 2600 years.

He put the Ghost Picture Frame into the pile of miscellaneous items, conjured the Sun Chaser Scepter, and looked at the two Beyonder characteristics floating before him.

One was a black-based, color-mixed door-shaped crystal, which was the Sequence 5 "Gatekeeper" Beyonder characteristic. The other was a crystal-clear, light golden crystal with what looked like scales inside, which was the Sequence 6 "Hypnotist" Beyonder characteristic.

Looking at the "Hypnotist" Beyonder characteristic before him, Aaron smiled. Evelyn's future Beyonder materials were already prepared, and the excess low-Sequence Beyonder characteristics that precipitated could be given to Audrey and Susie.

As for the "Gatekeeper" Beyonder characteristic, one could be prepared for Sid Watson, allowing him to exchange for it at an equivalent value, while the excess Beyonder characteristics could be traded with the Church of the Evernight Goddess for certain items or assistance.

Having made up his mind, Aaron repeated his previous operation, first precipitating the "Gatekeeper" Beyonder characteristic step by step. Remembering Joseph Weil's words earlier, he couldn't help but shake his head.

Since my backer has left, I'll honestly digest the potion and, by the way, promote my East Tack Bicycle Company.

Hmm, and I need to go back and have Darren check when this year's Roselle Memorial Exhibition starts. My current spirit body strength, far exceeding that of an ordinary Sequence 7, should be enough to act.

The Blasphemy Cards are still very important to me, especially the black emperor card corresponding to the Nation of Disorder. I must obtain it.

The figure on the throne suddenly vanished, and everything returned to silence.
