Chapter 17 - 17: The White Tiger Job Center [5]

17:The White Tiger Job Center [V]

---

Yuujin and Tom were staring at each other, blood still dripping from their wounds. Then—suddenly—Tom Lee darted forward and slammed his fist into Yuujin's gut.

"GHH—!!"

Yuujin's body bent with the impact. He couldn't react. Couldn't guard. The sheer force sent him crashing into a concrete pillar.

CRAAAASH!!!

The entire column split, and rubble rained down as Yuujin was buried under it, motionless.

Tom Lee stood there, blood trailing from his lip, breathing rough.

He scoffed, wiping his mouth.

"Tch… That was so anti-climactic."

He watched the rubble for a few seconds, waiting—nothing. He turned, sighing, grabbing his shirt from the ground.

"Make sure he gets into a good hospital," Tom said, voice flat, calling over to Manager Kim as he started to put on his clothes.

But then—

A sound.

A faint, metallic scrape from within the rubble.

The air shifted.

The temperature dropped.

Pressure swelled like a storm building.

Tom Lee paused, smile slowly curling back on his face.

He turned his head.

And there he was.

Yuujin Jin.

Standing.

Body bleeding. Torn. Eyes still closed.

But in his hand—gripped tightly—was a bent iron bar, ripped from the pillar. He raised it like a sword.

Tom Lee chuckled darkly and began unbuttoning his shirt again.

"Manager Kim. Fold it."

Manager Kim sighed and picked it up as if this was routine.

Tom stepped closer. The floor under him cracked slightly with each step. The weight of two monsters colliding again.

Then Yuujin opened his eyes.

Both of them.

Tom Lee froze.

Even Manager Kim's eyes widened.

The second eye—jet black sclera with a white pupil, glowing faintly under the dust.

Tom narrowed his gaze.

A bead of sweat rolled down his face.

"You in some kind of Ultra Instinct mode now?" he said, trying to joke, voice slightly shaky.

Yuujin didn't reply. He just raised the blood-slick bar and pointed it straight at Tom's chest.

There was silence.

Then Tom's face contorted.

Rage.

His eyes widened—wild.

Teeth clenched, grinding.

Veins popping across his temples, neck bulging, hair in a chaotic mess.

"YOU BASTARD… YOU'RE COPYING THAT FUCKER JOONGOO?!"

Yuujin's lips curled up.

"Copying?"

He chuckled. Eyes glowing.

"This is what I learned in Six years after killing that doctor and nurse."

Tom roared.

But before he could move—Yuujin disappeared from view.

A breath.

A flicker.

Then—

Yuujin was behind him.

Tom's eyes widened in confusion.

He turned.

A sharp gush of blood erupted from a deep diagonal slash across his torso.

Yuujin stood behind him, iron bar in hand, the end of it twisted into a jagged edge—dripping red.

Tom dropped to one knee.

Eyes bloodshot. Lips trembling.

"How… how can you—"

Yuujin smiled.

Blood on his lips.

Madness in his eyes.

Violence in his bones.

Across from him, Tom Lee stood with his fists clenched so tight the veins bulged like cables. His torso was soaked in blood, still leaking from the deep wound across his chest. But he didn't give a damn.

"You didn't give it your all, did you?" Tom muttered, his voice low, guttural. "When we fought earlier."

Yuujin laughed.

Something in him snapped.

"Why the fuck would I go all out on some old geezer?"

Tom's jaw flexed.

His eyes darkened.

Then he lunged.

A brutal downward punch crashed toward Yuujin's skull—only for Yuujin to backflip away, laughing like a man possessed. The concrete beneath them cracked from the force. Fractures spiderwebbed across the floor.

Tom licked the blood from his lips, eyes blazing.

"Today… either you fucking die, or I kill you."

Yuujin's grin widened.

"I'm not dying before you, old fucker."

And that's when the beast broke loose.

Tom charged. No techniques. No form. Just pure animal rage.

He swung with his fists, elbows, knees—he clawed at Yuujin like a fucking monster. He fought like something that had crawled out of a cage, desperate to tear flesh from bone.

But Yuujin—

Yuujin dodged everything.

He ducked, weaved, slid between attacks like water. Like a ghost.

Then—WHAM!

A clean kick to Tom's face.

Tom didn't flinch.

Didn't feel it.

He didn't even acknowledge it.

Yuujin followed with a spinning back kick—

BAM.

But Yuujin felt nothing.

Tom had already grabbed his leg mid-air.

And with a roar—

CRASH!!!

He flung Yuujin like a fucking missile through the wall.

Stone shattered.

Dust filled the air.

But there, sitting in the rubble like it was a goddamn throne—

Yuujin. Still smiling.

He stood. Cracked his neck. Walked forward.

Tom stepped forward too.

And like two titans, they clashed in the center of the room—

A second passed.

The stepped forward and attacked. Yuujin ran smiling and Tom Lee ran, blinded with rage. They both crossed each other. And Stood.

Then silence.

They stood with their backs to each other. Blood dripping from mouths and fingers.

Yuujin coughed. Blood spilled out—but he smiled through it. Tom Lee had punched hard.

But

Tom Lee was torn to shreds. Gashes everywhere. Blood leaking like a faucet. He was panting, exhausted, his body breaking down. But something happened—

Due to exhaustion, he was wearing off,His pupil regained it's outline.

Then—

They both turned at the same time.

Too fast for the eye.

Yuujin's sword was pointed straight at Tom's skull.

Tom's fist aimed at Yuujin's temple.

Inches away from total death.

But then—

TWANG.

Iron strings suddenly wrapped around them—sharp and thin like razors. Almost invisible. But there, binding their necks, arms, legs, like puppets caught mid-kill.

Yuujin twitched—still smiling like a madman.

Tom growled, his body barely moving, still trying to end it.

The wires dug into skin, slicing veins, embedding deep.

Across the room—Manager Kim stood with both hands bleeding, his fingers clutching the strings in agony.

"YOU FUCKING PSYCHOS!! WAKE THE FUCK UP!!"

His voice cracked.

Tom blinked.

Vision clearing. Mind returning.

He looked at Yuujin—a demon grinning through blood and restraint.

Tom turned to Manager Kim.

"Let me go."

Manager Kim hesitated, then loosened the wires.

Tom limped toward Yuujin. Each step heavy, his shoulder hanging, arm bloodied.

Then—

SLLAAAP!!!

A sharp open palm strike echoed through the air.

Yuujin's head snapped sideways. His hair fell over his right eye.

The smile vanished.

He let his weapon go.

He blinked. Once. Twice.

His body calmed.

Breath slowed.

He looked around.

Destroyed walls. Cracked floor. Rubble. Blood.

His body was tangled in wires.

He blinked again. Confused.

"...What the fuck happened here?"
