Chapter 581 - The Whale Fall of a God!

Chapter 581: The Whale Fall of a God! Ren's Invitation!

The air shimmered, and Ren reappeared on the island. Chika and Marin materialized beside him, their faces pale. He gave them a reassuring smile. "You two head back to the villa. I need to take care of our little problem."

Sending them back was a necessary precaution; the death of a divine being could have unpredictable consequences.

"Ren-kun, please be careful," Chika pleaded. Marin nodded, planting a soft kiss on his cheek. "A good luck charm," she whispered. Realizing they would only be a hindrance, they vanished.

Alone, Ren turned his gaze back to the depths. "Tsk, my first time truly dealing with an unknown SCP," he mused. A blade forged from pure soul energy materialized in his hand, and the majestic Emperor's Garb enveloped him. He was not underestimating this divine Leviathan.

His Mystic Eyes of Death Perception activated, painting the world in monochrome. He could see them, even on the colossal entity miles below. The lines of death were faint, but they were there. "Let's see if I can truly kill a god," he whispered. With a motion that seemed to slice through reality, the Soul Blade descended.

Back at the villa, a flash of light announced their return. They were immediately surrounded by anxious faces. "You're back! Where is Ren?" Haruno demanded.

"Is Ren-kun in danger?" Itsuki asked, her hands clasped tightly.

Marin quickly summarized the situation. "We went diving… and we found a monster. It was… huge. Ren-kun became incredibly serious."

Her summary sent a chill through the room. "Something that even he takes seriously?" Leone commented.

RUMBLE!!!

As if to mock them, the island began to tremble violently. The surrounding ocean roared, heaving upwards into a colossal, thousand-meter-high wave.

"Freeze!!!" Haruno's eyes blazed. Crack! In an instant, the monstrous tsunami was frozen solid into a jagged mountain of ice.

"ROOOOAAAARRR!!!"

But the shaking didn't stop. A deep, soul-shaking bellow echoed from the seabed. The tremors intensified.

"Protect them!" Haruno commanded.

Sakurajima Mai immediately deployed her psychokinesis, her power wrapping around the island, holding the fracturing land together while lifting the entire landmass a thousand meters into the air.

From their new vantage point, they could see the source. It wasn't a mountain range rising from the ocean. It was a creature, a living being of impossible scale, its body stretching for thousands of kilometers. Its roar tore the heavens asunder, its death throes threatening to shatter the world.

In the epicenter, Ren watched. "Tsk, so even gods have a process for dying." He had severed the creature's line of origin. This was merely its death rattle. Seeing that its final moments would scar the planet, he acted. He unleashed Gluttony, his power warping space as his metaphysical maw swallowed the Leviathan's thousand-kilometer-long corpse in a single, reality-bending gulp.

With another application of his power, he smoothed the raging seas and calmed the trembling earth. The true reward, however, was the flood of power and information that washed over him.

Ren couldn't help but let out a sharp hiss. Eight hundred million! A predatory grin spread across his face.

Shaking his head, he looked up as Mai gently lowered the island. Ren simply rewrote reality, and the island was instantly restored. Only then did he teleport back to the villa.

"Ren-kun! Are you injured?" Mi-chan was the first to rush to his side.

He gently stroked her hair. "Don't worry, Mi-chan. I'm fine." He addressed the rest. "The matter is resolved. Please, go back to enjoying your vacation."

His gaze then landed on Yui and Hayasaka Ai. He walked towards them, his battle-born adrenaline needing an outlet. "Come on," he said, his voice a low, suggestive murmur as he took each of them by the hand. "Come inside with me."

"Huh?" Before either could process, they were gently but irresistibly pulled towards the villa.

"What is Ren-kun going to do?" Yotsuba asked with wide-eyed innocence.

A collective blush spread through the group. They were no longer pure enough to misunderstand. Yukino's mind immediately went to forbidden thoughts involving herself, her sister, and him. She glanced at her mother, Miyuki, who simply offered a serene, knowing smile.

No one answered Yotsuba.

"Eh? Did I say something wrong?" she asked, genuinely confused.

"Ahem! It's nothing! Let's go find something fun to do!" Nino, despite her own blush, coughed and dragged her clueless sister away.
