Lillian was quick with the maid dress and Sofia put it right away. Time wasn't on her side, every second passing away was screaming tomorrow in Sofia's ears, and it was causing her to be uncomfortable.
As long as she hadn't done anything that would alter the future, her heart was on a racing track.
"So what are you planning to do my princess."
Lillian couldn't help but ask when she helped Sofia with the final arrangements of the uniform.
"Don't ask me any questions Lillian, and by the way, you should be finding me new clothes for the coronation. Didn't I just reject all the clothes you brought me."
Lillian couldn't help but nod when she was done with the arrangements. She stepped backwards and wanted to say something but Sofia stopped her by raising her right hand.
"Go find me a new dress, and the color will be red. I don't care if the coronation is tomorrow. All I want is a new dress that is red in color, that is what I am going to wear."
Lillian was dumbfounded, she wanted to say something again when Sofia cut her off once more.
"I want it now. Remember, the coronation is a few hours from now. It's not twenty-four hours away."
Lillian finally knew Sofia was serious and she rushed out of the room to get Sofia orders done. Sofia cheeks moved a little seeing the way Lillian rushed away. It was all glorious to be princess or a queen, however, the price of it was freedom.
The commoners can never imagine the luxury they are enjoying. One looks at the top, glorifying the height. The formidability. While the top looks down, cautious not to fall, afraid it wouldn't end well or could possibly lead to death, however, magnifies the flexibility of being down.
What a messed up world.
Sofia looked around before coming out of her room. She took a deep breath before she shut the door. Normally they would've been guards by her doorway, and on the corridor leading to her resting place, but she didn't bring any of her guards with her to the palace. She only brought Lillian, and now that she thinks about it, princess Emma made the right choice for her, but it was the worst choice on her end.
Sofia hurried out of the room and approached the building where the men's chambers were. She could tell her way about because the Author was a vivid writer, she never leaves a sentence without explaining whatever was in the background of the scene.
She found it irritating then because the scene was on fire, how could the Author go on to describe the rocks the people were standing on.
Then it was all shit, but now, it was so brilliant!
Reading the novel alone didn't give her this much knowledge of her surroundings, the comic did and most importantly the map.
The comic was in its final release state, but as a top fan, she had access to it before now, that was how she saw all the characters' faces, meanwhile, when the novel ended, the author gave a vivid animation video about all the worlds in the book.
That was the main reason she knew her way around.
Sofia entered the men's chambers and nobody asked her a single question, mainly because she was keeping her head low, otherwise, some of the guards there would've spotted her identity already.
Princesses are not allowed to be seen on male abodes, a law for unmarried princesses.
Aside from the gossip that it would generate, there were several punishments tied to it, one could even lose her position as a ruler if it wasn't handled properly.
In her case, if she was to be caught here, she would be stripped of her position as the ruler of charms, and that she can't afford to lose.
Sofia easily maneuvered her way all through the guards of different princes; within a minute, she was standing at the door of James' chamber. She was expecting to see his guards all over, but none of them were around.
Sofia smiled a little as she entered the room. While she was expecting to see some guards here, she had a feeling there wouldn't be any guards because James have just arrived, and Lillian talked about a present, if this was following the novel which it was, James would be in the forest hunting with the Royal highness and the twelve princes, so none of his guards would be here, they would all be in the hunting ground waiting for their master.
Some of the princes brought too many guards. That was why there were even guards here.
Sofia took a deep breath when she entered James chamber. The kings plans from the beginning was to exterminate the freedom of people who were once slave, and to bring them back to service by force, however, James wonderful hunting today made him change his mind, he decided he would cut James down, make him useless in front of those that adore him, before he would generalize his order.
The thought of the king's face was making Sofia uncomfortable. She had to do something to change the future completely, and this was the only way the future could change for sure, by sleeping with James tonight.
The king wouldn't be able to marry her if she had been deflowered, that was a no no here.
Sofia's breathing increased at that moment. She was a virgin in the real world, and same here as well, but unlike Princess Emma that loved James, she doesn't know if she loves James to that extent.
To the extent of opening herself for him now.
She loved James' character, but James was a fool many times. He only got his senses when Princess Emma died and from there on, she loved his character so much, but before that, James was practically a coward. She hated him, and that was the version she was going to encounter soon.
The foolish James version.
That aside, she doesn't know if she would be able to seduce him because James would never agree to take her virginity without marrying her, and this was where her skills from the real world would've come into play, but she had never said hi to a boy, let alone open her legs for one, she doesn't even know how they do it, she had only been eighteen for just a month, so she had never read those kind of books.
Sofia squeezed her hands at that moment. If she sells herself short now, she would never be able to seduce James when he comes. Right now, she should be thinking of a way she could seduce him then it would work.
She might not have read those kinds of books, she definitely read a lot of motivational books, and it helps a lot.
All she had to do was to see herself making love with James and the perfect idea would come.
Sofia was thinking about what to do when the edge of a sword suddenly rested on her shoulders.
"Don't move or I will pull the sword backwards and your neck will spill blood. You will fall to the ground because your body wouldn't be able to absorb the shock from the cut, and if you are not attended to immediately by doctors, you will die within two minutes.
So are you willing to take the risk or remain as I have told you, thief?"
