"Alright, shall we go in?"
"Yes, the coast seems to be clear"
I nodded at Kyoko and we headed inside the big house through the back door Kyoko found out. As we entered, Kyoko started to lead the way.
We went through a vent to the right and opened a locked door to find three more doors. Amongst the three door, one led to the room the fairy was kept in. Inside, there are at least four guards according to Kyoko .
"I will distract the guards, you go through that door and there would a vent on the ceiling. Just descend from there and open the cage locks"
"Alright, stay safe"
I followed Kyoko's instructions and went ahead. Unfortunately, Kyoko's observation were a little wrong. The first door that I went in also had two guards.
(Why are they here?)
I frowned and scanned the room from the corner. The guards still hasn't noticed me. I searched for the vent in the ceiling and found it in the middle of the room ceiling. Obviously, if I had to go through that vent, I would need to get rid of these guards.
I sighed and covered my face with my hood, I took out the Starlight's tomb that was hanging in my back. I had to do this quick and without uttering a single sound.
Both guards were at each corner of the room, I silently threw a small button from my cloth to the middle of the room.
The guards noticed the anomaly and went ahead to inspect.
"What the- what's a button doing here?"
One of the guard said while grabbing the button.
I took my chance and infused some of my mana into Starlight's tomb and also my legs. I gushed towards the both guards and fortunately they were much slower than me. With the back of the Starlight's tomb, I pushed it against both the guards necks and they fell down. They were unconscious.
A human is a weak creature, an elf like me could handle few of them on my own.
I placed the Starlight's tomb in my back and opened the vent. I rushed forward and could finally see the fairy under me.
I watched closely to see if there were any other guards. There wasn't any so I started descending down.

On the other side, Kyoko hadn't exactly figured out how to create a diversion. She observed the four guards every move and they all were becoming drowsy by the second. The guards all stood while facing the fairy.
Then a bulb lit up in her mind.
The way she can distract the drowsy guards was by showing them Behemist.
A behemist is a type of magic that creates illusions. It was made by the demi race in order to protect themselves from predators. An animal instinct of theirs, with time this magic had blended into the demi race veins. Even the ones that just came out of the womb were able to cast it. It recured a single drop of mana to them, whereas it would take others a dozen.
Kyoko went inside and started to approach the guards from behind . She pointed her hand towards the four guards and the pink mana started following out of her wrist.
The pink mana flowed towards the guards and captivated them, soon enough they all were lying on the floor.
Kyoko took her chance and ran towards the first door. She looked up at the ceiling first to check if Anal was in position. However, before she could do that, she spotted a sphere crystal the same size as a soccer ball floating in the air.
The crystal had one single big dot on it and it was very close to the cage.
It was a magic ball, typically used for spying on others and was an alarm.
Even so, it didn't make sense in Kyoko's head. How can a small village have this precious item. Nevertheless, she desperately started looking for Anal in the ceiling.
Her eyes soon registered Anal, who was preparing to descend from the vent.
Kyoko couldn't call her out, if she did she would found out by the magic ball. It seemed that Anal hadn't seen the magic ball yet.
Kyoko desperately searched for a way to grab Anal's attention and stop her from descending.
(Uhh....this might hurt her but I got no choice)
Kyoko thought to herself while pulling out her bow.
She aimed her arrow towards Anal.
Her Merrows Arrow had a special ability. It was that any arrow that she shot would never make a sound. The arrow was like an owl.
She aimed her Merrows Arrow and shot accordingly. The arrow grazer past Anal's cloth and she mangee to catch it before it colided with the walls. Anal was startled but searched for where the arrow had come from.
She managed to register Kyoko, who was now signaling her not to descent. She then pointed her fingers at the magic ball floating around the cage. Anal was again taken aback, it seems that she was also confused as to why this mechanism is here.
The two girls looked at each other in worry, it was a dead end.
Instantly, Anal got down from the vent at light speed. She took her rob out and wrapped the magic ball with it. She gritted her teeth and signaled Kyoko to open the cage.
Kyoko went immediately into action. In all this chaos, the fairy looked at the unbelievable view with guant eyeballs.
Kyoko broke the lock and the magic ball in Anal's arms let out shock waves. Anal stumbled back and fell on the ground. The signals were immediately sent off and everyone in the vicinity was alerted by the intruders.
"We gotta bail immediately!"
"Take the fairy Kyoko"
" 'sigh'..... she can't walk"
"I will carry her"
Anal carried the fairy in her back and they started running in full speed .
"INTRUDERS!!!"
"Hurry!! They got the fairy!!"
Bunch of men started running behind them and the girls ran out of the back door.

In the peaceful evening, Tremious gazed out through the window and thought of Dermis.
'thuuuakkkkkk'
Suddenly the door burst open and the girls were seen running out of breaths. Both the boys on the floor were looking at the sight with confusion. Ororon was midway coloring Kyoko's ears.
"Run you twooo!!!!!"
All of them started running and Tremious grabbed onto Ororon's waist while jumping out of the window.
"Eeeeehhhh"
"Get them!!!!!!"
"Don't let them escape!!!!"
The party ran and ran and Tremious screamed out while running behind them.
"WHAT DID YOU FOOLS DO NOW!!!??"
He was full of rage.

I tried to catch my breath while we all rested in the middle of the woods. We managed to outrun those people.
Honestly I don't know what got to me. It was as if I was possessed by Dermis's spirit. Without thinking twice, I made such a reckless attempt.
Tremious angrily stomped Infront of me and he spoke with a annoyed face. He's eyebrows raised as he questioned and his mouth twitched.
"What were you two thinking??!!"
I shakily laughed and looked at Kyoko and mouthed at her.
"Sorry"
"Hey I'm talking to you black elf!!"
Kyoko came forward and spoke calmly.
"It all ended properly, all is done so leave it"
Tremious sighed hard and sat down on a giant rock beside Ororon.
(She wasn't too mad I guess) I thought to myself while staring at Kyoko.
"You officially became the next Dermis"
"Noo, it was just a quick impulse. Besides, it worked"
"Now, coming back to Miss. Fairy. Are you alright?"
