Darkness surrounded them the moment the doors closed behind them.
Frank took a few steps forward, allowing his eyes to adjust to the dim light that slowly appeared around them. The place Amaya called her storage was vast. Endless corridors stretched into the distance, lined with shelves that reached high into the darkness above.
Objects of all kinds rested on them.
Ancient weapons, sealed boxes, old books, statues, artifacts from places Frank could not even recognize. Some were covered in dust, others looked as if they had been placed there only hours ago.
William looked around with visible curiosity.
"This place gets bigger every time I see it."
Amaya walked ahead of them calmly.
"It doesn't get bigger," she replied. "You just haven't seen most of it."
Frank remained silent while observing the shelves. He had been here before, but he had never taken the time to truly look at what Amaya kept inside this strange dimension.
