"Thank you both, Renjiro and Asriel, for informing us of Itachi's condition." Fugaku said. "If there is something you would like to ask for, as compensation, do not hesitate to ask."
"I appreciate your sincerity Lord Fugaku, in that case, we would like to request training in [Fire Release]. Asriel and I are still new to the concept of Ninjutsu and I as you saw in our [FIGHT] with Elder Danzō, I was able to modify [Water Release: Surfing Strike] into a Nin-Magic Fusion Technique, I called it [SOUL Water Release: Weighted Surfing Strike].
However, this was only due to having Grandfather Hagoromo help learn how to even mold Chakra at all. His experience was the reason I was able to create a new hand seal for SOUL abilities to manifest in Ninjutsu. He told us that his son, and your ancestor, Indra was the person who created hand seals.
[Water Release: Surfing Strike] was taught to me as a basic jutsu for learning Ninjutsu, and according to Grandfather Hagoromo, my affinity for [Water Release] was very high, and Asriel has high affinity for [Fire Release].
He speculated Asriel's affinity was due to his lineage, where my affinity likely originated due to my name, Renjiro, and how I died, drowning trapped in my vehicle. Ironic isn't it.
Anyways, I would like for Asriel and I to learn [Fire Release] and a Low Rank [Fire Release] Ninjutsu."
Fugaku was astonished, but quickly regained his composure. This favor was to little compared to saving his son from self-destruction. He thought for a moment before speaking.
"To learn from the Sage himself, fascinating! His insight is very strong to be able to create a new hand seal. Your request is a simple one, in fact, I feel it is too simple. I personally will instruct Asriel and yourself in [Fire Release].
The nearby Naka River is a perfect place for practicing [Fire Release] as the large body of water nearby can prevent mistakes in practice from harming others. We can go shortly."
"Thank you for the opportunity Lord Fugaku." Both Asriel and Renjiro said simultaneously.
"Please this is a minor thing, you caught Itachi's condition before he self-destructed. You helped me understand the way I interact with Itachi has been to aloof. You have done us a great service. From now on please, just call me Fugaku."
Fugaku turned to face Minato before continuing,
"Lord Minato, thank you for escorting Asriel and Renjiro. I understand that they stayed at your residence last night, if they haven't received a permanent residence, I would like to sponsor the purchase and/or renovation of their new home. I consider this a duty to the village and as my responsibility as a father. I hope you will approve of this."
Minato was happy with this, it was hard to find a good building on short notice, especially one where Asriel and Renjiro could house Kurama and the clan children. He was likely going to have to buyout a property owner, an expensive act. The Third Shinobi World War had only ended 13 months ago, the village was recovering well, but extra expenses from Obito's attack were already eating into his budgets for the current and next year.
He felt slightly guilty about taking advantage of Fugaku's sincerity to Asriel and Renjiro, but also knew that that realistically, this was in not only the Konoha's best interest financially, but in the political and social interests between Konoha and the Uchiha.
"I agree, if I can be blunt, the village is still recovering from The Third Shinobi World War. As Hokage, I have to pay compensation and pensions to the families of the deceased Anbu, our former midwife's family, and any property damage; which was thankfully minimal.
Finding a good property for not only living in but also for gatherings of clan children will likely require buying out one or more high value properties and renovations to accommodate not only the children but also Lord Kurama, the Nine-Tails.
Any contributions you can make would greatly benefit Konoha's recovery. Additionally, I haven't yet made the formal announcement on yesterday's incident. I will personally speak on behalf of the Uchiha Clan's magnanimity in contributing to Konoha's safety and recovery."
When Minato first became Hokage, he was very naive in terms of political speaking and influence. His kindness towards his fellow villagers made it hard for him, an honest to a fault man of character, to speak with a glib tongue.
Especially now, where seeing the trust of Fugaku and his family dynamic, he felt that being forthcoming was better than trying to speak in a way that resembled Hiruzen. He realized quickly after taking the Hokage position, the Third Hokage was truly had a artfully persuasive tongue.
He was so proficient at speaking that he could effectively bully someone into compliance without saying a single harsh statement, and that person could only swallow their pride. Hiruzen taught him how to speak like he did, but Minato felt that way of speaking was too shallow.
Hiruzen recognized this and told him that if he doesn't feel comfortable using his glib tongue to instead speak articulately and by mixing two parts truth, two parts understanding, and one part pleasing. It's easy to persuade with truth, easy to have sympathy with understanding, and easy to make deals by pleasing.
The Uchiha wanted two things more than anything else, recognition and integration. Integration was very difficult under Hiruzen and Danzō's era. Their frequent suppression and Danzō's relentless antagonization pushed them away from the civilian population. The Uchiha's inherent pride didn't help matters, the power of the Sharingan granted was intoxicating and likely amplified thoughts of superiority ingrained in their childhoods.
Minato's guarantee of commendation to the Uchiha in his speech about yesterday's events would significantly improve the relationship between the Uchiha, Konoha, and the civilian population.
"Thank you Lord Minato, the Uchiha Clan is a clan of Konoha. Contributions to the safety of Konoha and it's people is our duty." Fugaku said bowing slightly, a great show of gratitude for the tsundere 33 year old man.
"I should excuse myself now. Asriel, Renjiro, have a good lesson. Your housing situation should be resolved within a day or two." Minato said with a sunny smile.
"Thank you Minato." Asriel said with a similarly bright smile.
"Well then, shall we get your lesson started?" Fugaku asked.
"Yes please Fugaku. I am looking forward to this!" Asriel said cheerfully.
"Good, let us move to the Naka River. The waterfront there is a good place to safely practice [Fire Release]."

(A/N: If anyone has any questions about Asriel and Renjiro having high Fire and Water Affinities let me explain.
Due to Asriel and Renjiro receiving their Chakra Network and Chakra from Hagoromo, they both have all 7 Affinities (5 Basic + Yin and Yang). However affinities are almost never always equal. Renjiro has high Water Affinity, Asriel has high Fire Affinity.
The name Renjiro in Japanese is made up of 3 characters 蓮 Ren, 二 Ji, and 郎 Rō. 蓮 can symbolize Honestly/Integrity and is associated with Water Lilies. 二 can mean 'second' and is used as a suffix for the character 郎 to mean Second Son, which Renjiro was.
Asriel has higher Fire Affinity due to his Lineage, Asgore and Toriel both make heavy use of Fire Magic, whether in a [FIGHT] or cooking a Butterscotch Cinnamon Pie. Asriel himself uses Fire Magic in his [FIGHT] as well.
