Mikoto stopped chastising Fugaku and both, along with Minato, turned to face Renjiro. Mikoto anxiously asked,
"Renjiro, what's wrong with our Itachi?"
"First lets talk about the results of my test and what they mean, Itachi's heartrate is elevated above normal resting condition, this could be because of high stress from either his excessive training or him swallowing his pride to nervously ask for Fugaku's approval. So it is inconclusive.
Second, Itachi's blood pressure is high, beyond slightly elevated it reaches into stage one hypertension. However, Itachi doesn't have frequent nausea or dizziness, and his stiffness is likely from training rather than full hypertension, so there is likely another cause for his blood pressure being high.
Third, I drew some blood to check his platelet count and immune cells. The immune cell counts were slightly low but still within average ranges, meaning either Itachi was just sick, or is consistently fighting a minor sickness.
His platelet count however, that was substantially lower than normal. So I took a closer look at his blood vessels, and that's when I saw it. Itachi has a large amount of small blood clots in his blood vessels and capillaries.
Fourth, I asked about Itachi's training in [Fire Nature Chakra Transformation] and he told me he frequently gets burns on his hands, with some being severe third degree burns on his whole hand.
Putting this together, it shows that Itachi shows high blood pressure now, is likely from clotting, but since he doesn't show symptoms of hypertension or dizziness and nausea, he likely has a cyclical pattern of high and low blood pressure based on his clotting.
His clotting was caused by his frequent hand burns. Burns trigger the release of substances into the bloodstream that cause coagulation. Excessive coagulation uses up the remaining coagulation factors and proteins in the body, if an injury occurs during that time the blood can no longer clot properly, leading to internal bleeding.
This condition is called Disseminated Intravascular Coagulation (DIC), and is a rare condition from my world usually seen in victims of severe full body burns, however due to Itachi's repeated localized severe burns, even after being healed the damage was already done."
Renjiro finished speaking, everyone's expression was grave. Fugaku and Itachi were stunned that [Fire Nature Chakra Transformation] training could be so damaging to the body. Mikoto had tears in her eyes about to start crying, she asked in a shaky voice,
"Is there anything we can do to treat him?"
"Yes, luckily his condition isn't yet severe, he should be able to recover quickly with treatment. Luckily since the trauma has already been healed, now you just need to prevent future trauma.
Treatment is as follows, for the next six weeks Itachi cannot practice with [Fire Nature Chakra Transformation], and afterwards he cannot practice recklessly, avoiding burns as much as possible.
During that time Itachi must go to the hospital weekly for a blood test and possibly a blood transfusion to replace his diminished platelet count and the resources used in coagulation. If nothing goes wrong, he should be back in shape in 4 weeks."
Mikoto sobbed in relief hugging Itachi tightly, Fugaku sighed, and with a smile went up and hugged both Mikoto and Itachi. Minato felt left out, but it was already inappropriate for him to be listening to Itachi's diagnosis, so he just stayed quiet.

When the family was done hugging, Renjiro turned to Itachi and said to him,
"While your DIC can be treated, your imbalance of Physical and Spiritual Energy is something else. During your recovery I highly recommend you eat like an Akimichi child and train in Taijutsu, endurance running, and get some proper sleep.
You need to have a proper balance, or else when you awaken your Sharingan, your Spiritual Energy will surge further, the higher the stage the bigger the gap, the bigger the gap the more you will fall ill.
In my opinion you have the potential to awaken the Mangekyo Sharingan with just your Spiritual Energy alone, however if you don't have the Physical Energy to match, those eyes will only hurt you."
'Awaken the Mangekyo with Spiritual Energy alone!?' Fugaku thought, shocked at what he heard.
"Is it really possible to Awaken the Mangekyo with just Spiritual Energy!?" He asked.
"Theoretically." Renjiro said.
"If one's [Yin Release] or Spiritual strength is strong enough, one can awaken the Mangekyo. Usually this happens when a large emotional stimulus is received, one that deeply affects the user.
Emotions being linked to ones Spiritual and Yin energies can cause surges in the strength of those energies, fueling the Sharingan's advancement.
By this logic, if ones Yin or Spiritual strength is strong enough, they can advance their Sharingan's development without excessive emotional strain.
Grandfather Hagoromo told us that his son Indra, who despite his overwhelming [Yin Release], didn't advance his Sharingan this way. He hypothesized this was the reason for his mental instability, which led to him trying to kill his brother over successorship.
In theory, as long as the Sharingan develops with training instead of extreme emotions, the user will be much more emotionally stable.
In my opinion, the creation of a technique to build Yin or Spiritual strength, such as a meditation method would be beneficial for many Uchiha, and likely other clans such as the Nara, Yamanaka, and Kurama as each clans bloodlines or secret techniques rely on Yin or Spiritual strength."
Fugaku thought for a bit,
"I agree with you." Fugaku said. "I will get some of my people on it."
"Before you do that, I would like to recommend something."
"Yes? What is it?" Fugaku asked Renjiro.
"With how the meeting last night ended, with all of the clans pledging their support in the futures of Naruto and Sasuke, it would be foolish for the clans not to be united in just this way.
These developments are critical in the growth of Konoha, therefore I think it is necessary to include the other clans in the development, testing, and release of this technique. Not only is it crucial for the Uchiha, Hyuga, Nara, and Yamanaka, but it is also perfect for training Genjutsu specialists and the increase of Spiritual Energy can lead to bolstered Chakra reserves."

At this point, Asriel jumped in,
"Fugaku sir, with the clans and village united under a single goal, it would be foolish to not help strengthen everyone. This is why we offered to awaken the other clan head's children. When everyone is working towards a common goal, true growth can be achieved."
Fugaku was shocked by Renjiro and Asriel's recommendation. Sharing techniques between clans? That almost never happened! The only clans that do it normally are the Ino-Shika-Cho clans, and that is only because they are practically tied at the hip!
"I will have to speak with the other clan leaders about this, but I am not against your recommendation." Fugaku said.
In truth Fugaku was very much in favor of co-development of a Spiritual training technique. However, his personality didn't let him show it. Asriel could somewhat sense this after Mikoto made it blatantly obvious earlier.
At this point Asriel saw Fugaku as being like a cactus, similar to the one in Old Home in the Ruins. It would occasionally bloom and show a few beautiful flowers, but most of the time it was just a normal stubbornly prickly cactus.
"Also, just as a personal note. I recommend therapy for any Uchiha who awakened their Sharingan in a situation of extreme stress, like a life or death situation or if they witnessed their teammates dying.
In these specific situations the advancement of the Sharingan usually amplifies feelings of anger, helplessness, or hatred. This can cause issues, as seen with a certain masked man." Renjiro added.
This caused both Fugaku and Minato to freeze. They both knew about Obito now, about his 'death' awakened the two-tomoe Sharingan due to his feelings of helplessness in death, and later awakening of the Mangekyo when he witnessed Rin's suicidal death at Kakashi's hand.
His emotions must have taken a rollercoaster during that time, culminating in attempting to kill his teacher alongside his wife and newborn. If what Renjiro said is true, that Itachi could awaken the Mangekyo, Fugaku would ensure it happened properly. Following the path Obito took and the Stone Tablet said to take was now considered unacceptable to him.
(A/N: Man this chapter was draining to write. Large expositions where you have to be as accurate or realistic as possible, they take a lot out of me. I also have a bad habit of trying to complete the research, writing, and review all in the same day. Not great for burnout lol.
Anyways, this started with Itachi asking for Magic and ended with a medical diagnosis, secret technique development, and suggestions on therapy. I don't understand how my brain works.
