Jihoon drove to school on Monday, an optimistic smile tugging at his lips. He parked and stepped out, feeling lighter than he had in weeks.
The stranger hadn't called again, and the omega felt calmer now. It seemed his problem had solved itself.
The next step was meeting Junghoon — and apologizing for ending things. The thought made his stomach twist, but also hopeful.
The air smelled fresh and Jihoon breathed in deeply, closing his eyes.
A loud whistle made the omega turned to see Seungmin beside him, a mischievous smile on his face.
"Nice ride you have there."
Jihoon smiled back. "Thank you. How are you?"
"I'm doing well," the other replied. "You look better," he noted and the omega hummed as they started walking into the school.
"Yeah. I've been sleeping."
Seungmin nodded. "That's good. Where are you headed?"
Jihoon shook his head, stuffing his hands into his pockets. "I don't have classes today."
