"Will you marry me?" These were the words that changed her life forever. Lillian never thought she would hear it after one impulsive decision.

After getting cheated on by the ones she loved and trusted the most, Lillian had never been the same again. 

Dating became a thing of the past and she focused solely on her career. 

Lillian worked like crazy to achieve her goals, but it eventually popped up that there was something missing in her life. She had not been in a relationship for too long, and when she finally decided to get out of her shell, as if it was a fateful encounter, she met him: Leonard, a bachelor who suddenly asked for marriage after one night together. He even offered a staggering deal when she refused his proposal.

Lillian just met him but she felt like they clicked well in their conversations.

“Mr. Leonard is dead!”

Lillian dropped the book she was reading as she heard the news. That was her husband’s name!

There’s a ton of people with the same name, but the face on the screen was truly her husband's!

She learned he was a multibillionaire. But now, he was dead, and Lillian was his wife.

She knew something for sure: she needed to hide and verify if her husband is truly gone.

Leo's stepbrother called to thank him for the rescue of his (step)son's wife.


As Lillian listened, she learned that they had been in a panic and immediately told their family members to seek anyone who could help with her immediate rescue.


When they told their parents about it, they knew Leo was nearby, so they called him in case he could send someone to help.


Leo had already seen the news by then, and Zach and the others were already preparing to go, so they only had to tell his nephew to come and pick up his wife.


Since his stepbrother asked how it went, Leo retold how the rescue lasted for hours because Nico had to find her and the jailbreaker first. But once their location was found, everything moved much faster, and they headed to the meeting place with Leo's nephew shortly after.


Lillian observed Leo as he talked with his older stepbrother, and Leo was respectful, so she surmised he got along well with his brother.
