Appiah was looking very well after taking medication regularly. She was sitting in the couch in lounge after many days today reading and flipping through the pages of her favorite magazine.
"How are you doing now?" Amy sat next to her and asked, she put the magazine on the table and started to get up, but Amy stopped her by holding her hand.
"Tell me if I am to blame, if I have done anything wrong that you're behaving odd and treating me like this." She cried asking her. Appiah opened her mouth when she cried and immediately sat next to her holding her hands and wiped the tears from her eyes carefully.
"Don't cry" she comforted her to stop her upon crying like that.
"Why shouldn't I? You have stopped talking to me for so many days? And not even told me, why?" She made a moue.
"I was in a bad mood. I didn't want to talk to anyone --- well, let's do it, it's our rule that if you reconcile with someone's, you have to go shopping. Do you remember this? She smiled at her words.
"Absolutely -- will definitely go. I will take a leave from college." She agreed.
"I am now calling Khanu Bhai that his wife is now slacking in attending her college. She is taking too many offs. He will punish you surely" Safi said in a threatening tone while leaving Dadu's room as he heard her by chance.
"You're always here eavesdropping everyone. What are you, a devil! And he won't even scold me, rather giving a punishment" She asked rolling her eyes.
"May Allah be merciful to us, I'm not a devil, but you can say my senses are very sharp. Whenever I feel something fishy, I reach there at the time. You know when that incident happened at your college, forgetting something? The day will come when I'll be the first one to find you if you're kidnapped by some unfortunate man." He boasted with a proud face.
"Whenever you're needed, you disappear like you never existed." She brought him down from the cloud nine. "Did you've forgotten when we got lost in the university, where were your powers back then?" She asked sarcastically.
"By then I was a young blood, powers were still in dormancy, not stimulated! So I couldn't find you." He replied seriously.
"Oh, stop watching those fantasy tales of China and Korea." She said jerking off her hand.
"Don't say anything about them. Those are my love." He whined at her rudeness.
Appiah smiled at their arguments and asked,
"Okay, stop you two. We're going for shopping Tomorrow, for real. Now no fighting. Let's eat something, I'm hungry." She said leaving her place and headed to the kitchen. Both glared at each other and scoffed at same Time. Sticking her tongue out at him, she ran behind, following Appiah into the kitchen. Her stomach was growling loudly. She has to feed herself.
