"Then you should leave." She said and then stepped back. He scoffed and lifted Amy up in his arms and left the place.

After a little while Appiah exit from the restroom. She looked for her, around. Her handbag was placed neatly on the side. She picked it up. Yeah, she didn't like to hold things for long, she let them go. Thinking she'd be down in parking as they were done shopping.

She too decided to head to the car now, it was late.

"Where's Amy? I'm sure she's gone for something again. Appiah I'm going to leave that stubborn girl here. She likes to stay here by the way." Safi was being angry at her late arrival, as she took her seat, right behind him. He was seated in front seat by driver, playing with his phone.

"What!! Is she not here yet? I thought she'd be here, in the car?" She asked startled.

"I'll call her." She opened her bag and getting her phone dialed Amy's number. It was unavailable.

"Its unavailable right now. Maybe some signals problem. Let's wait for a little, I hope she'll be back in few minutes." She said calmly. Safi cussed under his breath,"idiot!".

They were waiting for almost half an hour. It was getting dark now. But she was nowhere to be seen.

"Where's that little trouble." Safi was now being worried about her. He was continuously calling her number but it was turned off.

"I'm going to check if she's struck somewhere. Stay put, I'll be back. Uncle, come with me. We'll lock the car, don't step out." Being cautious he left with the driver.

Looking for her everywhere, he was now irritated. He thought she was doing it on purpose. They even made an announcement, thinking if she's searching for them. He dialed Appiah's number and asked if she's there. But answer was still 'No'.

"Please, it's not any of her games, tell me the truth, Appiah, if you know anything." He was panicking.

"Calm down. Let's go home. Elders will check it." Appiah tried to calm him but he was not in the position. She was calm until now as she too was thinking that Amy was on some sort of adventure. She liked to play pranks with them. But that was serious.

"Sir, we should inform Master." Driver suggested.

"How do I?" He was crying. Appiah wrapped her shaky arms around him.

"Don't cry, be a man, she'll be here somewhere hiding. Let's go check surveillance." She said not sure of her own actions. He was thankful at her advice.

They asked driver to call at home and went to control room of the mall. She was seen going to the bathroom along with Appiah but not exiting. On the way back, Appiah was all alone.

Daddy and uncle were there soon. Appiah informed him about the whole story. She was holding herself back from crying.

"She's not here too." Safi said in a quivering voice. His hands were sweating. He was losing hope.

"Is there any other exit door there?" Daddy asked thoughtfully.

"Yes, but the CCTV there's broken for a few days. We can't retrieve the footage." The security officer excused him.

"You should inform the police." A guard gave the idea.

"It's our daughter. We've to be careful. We can't inform the police. The rumors will spread." Uncle refused coldly. Everyone was dead silent. He was right. She was daughter of a famous business family, they couldn't afford those rumors.

"If you notice anything suspicious please inform us." Daddy gave them his number and left. His shoulders were slumped. He was feeling a piercing sensation in his chest. It was being unbearable. At parking lot, he collapsed. Safi and driver hurriedly tried to hold him but failed. His breathing was being unsteady.

"He's having a heart attack, take him to hospital." Safi cried out. Appiah dialed emergency number. Soon after he was taken to the hospital.
