Hector released a deep breath, then slowly leaned against the wall, relaxed.
"Finally, she's also fine!"
Her condition gradually improved with the healing capsule and some medical equipment from Bam.
At this moment, she was sleeping peacefully but still shivering slightly.
Bam also glanced at Violet, who was lying on the equipment table where he had cleaned all, with a face full of wonder.
"Luckily for you, I have a VIP capsule. But what happened to her? Drug resistance usually doesn't occur in normal people, but happens when the person uses it rapidly over a long period of time."
Yet, a few seconds later, Bam sighed again, like every time.
"But I don't mind too much! Carrying her out of my room before sunrise… I don't want to be involved with any Big Clan. They're a big trouble."
He had guessed that Violet had endured cruel torture from the whip marks on her body.
If Hector had been carrying anyone else, he wouldn't have thought much about it, but this girl was another matter.
However, his expression froze when he heard Hector's next words.
"Tenny… The culprit is Tenny…" Hector sighed, pressing his fingers against his forehead, deep in thought.
Then, he briefly explained everything to Bam.
"Wow… That's unbelievable… But if it's true, it'll be breaking news." Bam widened his dead-fish eyes, speaking in an amused tone.
He pondered, glancing around, many thoughts spinning in his mind. Then, he lightly knocked his fingers on the table and looked at the main door.
"Maybe?"
"No... It'll happen."
As he looked at the main door, he could see it beginning to crack, along with layers of ice.
Boom!
A few human shadows slowly stepped in from outside the now-broken door, accompanied by an angry voice echoing.
"I knew it! Just two rats!"
Tenny looked toward the middle of the room with a furious expression. She thought that if that damn guy didn't attack her but only focused on saving Violet, it proved that he was weaker than her.
But, she still had a few questions.
Who were they?
How did they know about the secret basement?
Why did they save Violet?
But at this moment, none of it mattered anymore.
She would kill every rat in this room before sunrise.
"Too bad! You must pay me a lot of money after this!" he frowned and glanced at Hector, shouting urgently,
"Carry her to the window… Right now!"
Without a bit of hesitation, Hector instantly hugged Violet tightly and sprinted toward the window leading to the outside of the castle.
''No way! Don't even think about it!''
Tenny shouted and swung his whip toward Hector at extreme speed. By the way, Tenny's whip extended to around six meters, whereas before, it was only about two meters, as if it could stretch endlessly.
It was obvious that the whip was a rare artifact.
But just as it was about to reach Hector, the silhouette of a massive hand suddenly emerged from the floor behind him, gripping the whip tightly and stopping its strike.
"What is that?" Tenny narrowed her eyes, pulling the whip with all her strength, but she couldn't budge it—the massive hand was too strong.
Only when she infused her ice mana into the weapon did the hand finally release its grip, letting the whip drop.
''Get them! Leave that monster to me!'' Tenny shouted to her underlings, closely gazing at the huge silhouette increasingly climbing out of the floor.
It was a huge silhouette shaped like a human, yet it didn't resemble one.
It lacked a neck, hair, and ears, giving it an uncanny appearance. Its legs were short and thick, while its arms were abnormally large and long.
It looked like a fusion of King Kong and a human, towering nearly reaching the ceiling at an impressive.
"What the hell is that?" Hector turned around, staring at the silhouette with wide, stunned eyes.
He didn't recall Bam possessing a skill coin like that.
But then again, he should have been used to things like this by now.
"Don't lose your concentration," Bam said in a deadpan voice.
"Jump outside. Don't worry too much—I've prepared a means of transport for us."
Hector only nodded and held Violet tightly, preparing to kick through the window.
Baam!
Without a moment of hesitation, he leaped through the now-shattered window.
He trusted Bam.
The reason was simple—Bam never joked.
Yet, mere seconds later, regret flooded him as he plummeted through the air.
"What the fuck?!... I'm gonna die!" Hector's eyes widened in horror as he looked down.
It was too high.
They were at least a kilometer above the ground!
If they fell to the ground, they'd be smashed into a mushy pile of flesh.
At that moment, fear gripped him so tightly that his embrace made Violet let out a pained groan.
"Calm down..." A soft voice, blending with the rushing wind, echoed beside him.
Hector turned his head.
Bam looked completely at ease—he was simply letting his body fall following the wind as if this were nothing too dangerous.
"You're crazy!" Hector shouted in anger, his expression twisting because of this thing.
But soon, the sensation of falling disappeared. Instead, a soft surface appeared beneath his back and butts.
An unknown thing was holding him, preventing him from losing balance after the free fall.
A few seconds later, Hector regained his composure, though his body still trembled slightly, and a burning sensation lingered in his head.
It felt like an extreme sport—one far beyond his limits.
Honestly, he had never been the type for such reckless stunts. His heart was simply too weak for this.
"Why didn't you call it sooner… my heart nearly jumped out!" Hector complained, his voice filled with frustration.
Looking beneath him, he noticed another silhouette.
It was a massive eagle, its wings spanning nearly five meters.
Hector glanced down at the eagle's feathered coat beneath him and instinctively plucked a feather. However, it vanished into thin air as he pulled it out, as if it had never existed.
Almost instantly, another feather grew in its place.
"The more you hurt it, the less time this shadow form will end," Bam warned, his voice weary as he blinked slowly.
Then, his gaze shifted to Violet, who seemed to have regained consciousness.
"Lady Violet! You should have discarded the tracking coin in your body."
